  1. Oh that is beautiful! I feel like I could walk up and feel the texture! The original is also splendid, such a great contrast. Well done! I hope we’ll see more of these, Amy.

    1. Thank YOU, Joey!! Since I really enjoy doing this type of art I will be doing more. I’m a frustrated painter and by creating a painting digitally I’m scratching that itch. I couldn’t even begin telling you the all I did with this. I just played with options and sliders. LOL ❤

    1. Catherine, you said it all. I’m just so happy you really liked this. I’m a frustrated painter so to be able to do this digitally satisfies that itch to paint. I really carefully selected colors and textures with the sole purpose of harmony. Just got a huge kick from your comment!! 💖💖💖

  2. The original image looks gorgeous!! And the edited one looks like a very genuine oil painting!!❤❤ I absolutely love them!! 😊😊 I wonder if artists had this editing facilities few hundred years ago, what would have happened to those paintings!!

    1. If artists had what we had today yes they still would paint. I know. I am a frustrated painter and admittingly there is something about the brush in hand and the colors that are just so transfixing. If I had the choice I would choose the brush but alas I am not a good artist (painting wise) but I am a good artist photography wise. LOL 🙂

      1. I too love colors, its a pleasure just seeing them, whether pastels or the one in tubes, its exhilarating. But alas, I can’t draw or paint well….. joined a drawing class when I was 7, make me draw mangoes and apples for 6 months and then I left lol 😛😛
You’re one amazing artist photography wise and I’m sure your paintings also echo that ☺☺
And absolutely true, those artists would have gone for the brush!❤❤

    1. Thank you, Mar!! I really just love to play. Curious minds ask hmmm what is this option for and oh let me play with those sliders to see what they do. I do have a “good eye” so I kinda know when I get the effect I am going after. 🙂 ❤

    1. Aw, thank you, Van. I’m totally “kid” when I transform my images to a “painting”. I just have a general “feeling” of what I am going after and I just try out this option, that option, and see what the sliders do. I honestly could not tell you what all I did, but I do know I did do a lot. LOL ❤

    1. LOL I played, VK, and I really mean that! I just began to see what certain options would do and then played with sliders and such. Total kid. I have a general idea of what I am going after and I know it when I see it. I get so lost in doing these images like this I have no idea what is going on around me. I like that. SO glad you enjoyed this !! ❤

  3. Wonderfully played as usual, Amy. This one looks magnificent, both inviting and haunting at the same time. Also love the poetry. Very nice of you to play for your friend. Very encouraging and please do more when you can 😏😊

    1. Sue, I’ve been on a food/water journey like no other. I’m about to drop. We have the food figured out … it is the water system we still have yet to figure out. What we are drinking is a huge improvement in what we were so yes we are on the right path. Whew!! And thank you regarding your compliments. I’m amazed myself at what is coming through my camera. Just in awe!!! 🙂 ❤

      1. Sue, I have not said anything yet on my blog. Please lift me up in prayer. My Mom is rapidly going downhill. She has been battling renal cancer for almost 1.5 years and after going through so much, her body is just giving out. My Heart is breaking. To not have my Mom on this earth leaves me devastated. Much Love to you. ❤

      3. Sometimes that is Life’s way.. It is often far worse for those of us left behind..
I talked my Dad over to the other side.. I thought that was a great privilege. So my heart totally understands… xxx ❤

      4. I am not able to step out of my life to go and see her, Sue. You don’t know how badly I wish to be there just to hug her and look deep into her eyes to say, “I Love you, Mom.” When last we spoke I told her with tears how it is not possible for me to get to her and she in such a genuinely understanding and Loving voice told me she really understood. The Miracle of what our relationship has become is she and she alone “gets” what I do and why I am doing it. How fortunate for you to have had the privilege to talk your Dad over to the other side. What a Holy Experience. ❤
