The weather here in WNY last week was extremely warm, unheard of at least in my lifetime. The high Friday was around 72-78°F depending upon the area you live in around Buffalo, New York. I am seeing, yet disbelieving. Have any of you had that type of experience when what is happening you “know” it is but it is so far fetched from the norm that you walk around saying, “pinch me?” There should be six foot snow drifts, no exaggeration! I saw a boy bare chested and bare foot while on one of my walks. I saw, said, “no way!” and actually took a picture.
Enjoy these paintings of a picture. I deliberately took them this way because my goal now is to create photographs that look like paintings. No digital art was applied with either image. What you see here is exactly how I took these images on Friday with my Canon 6D. Do any of you know how teeny tiny Crocuses are? Go back up to my first picture and look at the green stems around the yellow stalk towards the ground. Those green stems are as big as a blade of grass. Miniscule. This Macro lens is unbelievable at what it allows you and me to see! The “brown” images you are seeing are minute fragments of old leaves.
These flowers from my garden, a Gift from Heaven, were exactly the “medicine” I needed. This past week was intense with issues cropping up that needed my immediate attention. Hubby, me, cats, my Mother, food, water … I felt like a cat chasing its tail spinning in circles.
All of my cats are presenting with problems (all eleven of them), hubby went backwards instead of forward, both hubby and I are seemingly gluten sensitive (and corn, soy, and wheat), my Mother was almost hospitalized, and the water we had been drinking is the cause of many health problems in this house. Changes, hours of research, trial and error, trying new, treatments, modalities, reading labels, purchases, more changes … like I was saying this past week was intense.
Yesterday for the first time in weeks, I saw indications that what I am doing for my cats and for hubby and me, is beginning to take effect. It is a slow process but oh thank goodness, I am seeing positive results. Thanks for again bearing with me here at WP as Life just continually seems to throw situations that I am not able to ignore. Bless all of you!
