This past Sunday evening, (September 28th) my husband and I spent some time together at Chestnut Ridge Park for two purposes in mind. One, we both have been working very hard lately, and so we wanted to enjoy time at one of our favorite places, a huge hill that affords a panoramic view for miles and miles. Second, I of course had camera in hand to photograph the foliage. I was so sure I only needed one lens and for the first time ever when on a photo shoot, I left my backpack in the trunk of the car, not taking it with me.
Yep, you know what is coming. I was slapped silly on the side of the head for being so sure I only needed one lens. I brought my 70-300mm lens along with my tripod to shoot the foliage, and as I did, an event happened that just about sent me to my knees.
