Approximately 7:20pm EST these two images of the Blood Moon were captured by me. I am going to be going right back outside after I post this and continue documenting the Blood Moon hopefully tonight here on Petals. I know I will be at the very least shooting the Moon tonight. Tiny, I really HOPE you have clear skies down in Florida tonight.
If I don’t post the remainder of my images tonight, I’ll show my images tomorrow.

I have a bit of time before the eclipse. I rushed like crazy to get these images posted. I really will do my best to get this Moon with the eclipse just for you. Thank you for commenting and I am truly sorry it is cloudy where you live. It had been cloudy here earlier but then it cleared. Thank goodness!!!! I can hardly wait to see this!! ❤

Oh, thank you. I had been waiting for this night, and my husband bought me a new zoom lens. I had planned to stay outside on our deck all night if necessary, and now, no moon.

Beautiful images Amy. Thank you for sharing. 🙂 We had a beautiful sunset yesterday and the moon was appearing in full bloom in our part of the world. It was an end to a lovely spring weekend.

Marissa, did you see my second post regarding the Blood Moon? You won’t want to miss it. I did manage to post a second post last night before I crashed into bed. Looking up for hours made my neck and upper back scream. I missed the full eclipse by about 45 minutes. I just couldn’t do it. Hubby did. He sent me an image in my email. It looks almost exactly as mine except the sliver of yellow light is no longer there. What an experience! I’ll never forget what I witnessed!!! ❤

Thank you! I also managed to post two more images of the eclipse last night, the final one being the Blood Moon approx. 45 minutes prior to being full. My neck and upper back could no longer go on … looking up for hours is extremely challenging.
