On A Clear Day

    1. Thank you, Dan! Believe it or not, this Fall has not been as dramatic and bright as some other Falls. It’s been really challenging to find those spots that do light up. Even with these pictures, I’ve seen this park in other years so breathtaking that it stops you in your tracks. Perhaps even Mother is just fed up and at Her wits’ end for the shenanigans that are being displayed by the humans. The energy all by itself here in NY has been harsh. Hope you are having a great weekend!! xo

    1. Thank you, MaryGwyn! Yes I am very fortunate to live in this beautiful place. I’m not too fond of Winter but with that season I’m still trying to fall in love with that too. Hope you are having a great weekend. xo

  1. The way you spoke in earlier posts I thought fall was spluttering. Here she is singing pretty good dear lady, the many colors are spread lovely. There is a bit of everything and still even some green among them.
Thank you for sharing my friend, before the winds arrive preceding that funny white stuff 😀 ❤️ 🙏🏽 🦋 😂 🤣
By the way Amy, if I suddenly ‘fall’ off the map, I am being blocked suddenly from many blogs, all my replies have gone into the neverland, never to return. And its not just the odd 1 or 2, it is many. I think spirit has an adventure for me 😂 🤣

    1. Oh no, not the WP imp again! I’m so sorry, Mark, that again you seem to be having so much trouble!! As for colors, I was just telling someone else this year has been work finding those colors and I’m beat. The colors have been extremely odd this year, muted in some places, while brilliant in other places. I think I have just one more outing to go and then I call it quits. Between what life is dishing out and this running, I just have to draw the line somewhere. I’m only one person!! Much love to you!! xo

      1. I’ll keep hanging in here too Amy…until this adventure turns up. Not sure if I can climb Mount Everest but like you I’ll settle for a walk in a beautiful forest 😂 🤣 ❤️ 🙏🏽 🦋

  2. Hi Amy! Great photos! I love the colors. This park to me feels still. It feels like the clock slowed way, way down and is just existing lower than a breath. I don’t know how else to explain it except to say it would be a great place to go relax and lose time. Looks wonderful!! Thanks for sharing! Much love, Donna

    1. Thank you, Donna! I love the way you describe the “feel” of this park. I do go to this park to walk and by the time I get back home my stress has evaporated. Hope you had a great weekend!! xo

    1. How wonderful to know, Prag!! I’ve made it my mission this year to find those treasured pockets of color. I believe I have one more outing (perhaps more) as I continue my chase of colors. Much love to you this day!! xo

    1. You’re welcome, Julie. I brought an “intermission” here with a post about some of our cats and then I will pick up with the remaining posts I plan for my Fall series. I’ve been fortunate to find pockets of glory. Our Autumn has been a strange one, the colors spotty at best. Hope you have a really great weekend!! xo

  4. Continuous beauty Amy… this park seems to be older, ancient even with hints of loneliness emanated❤️ You certainly manages to change the dynamics here sharing the park with us all and admiring her autumn performance. Thankyou and love to you x

    1. BrittnyLee, God bless you for your kind words. I so appreciate feedback like yours. I put my heart into this post and I prayed with the full intention that ALL I experienced that day would be felt through this post. And it was. Much love to you! xo
