[Last week I had a conversation with Neihtn regarding my “Dream Camera”. In taking the photograph that is below, I realized that my Canon 50D is a keeper. Neihtn, look what my Dream Camera can do! (smile)]
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Two days ago, I set up my (new) tripod upon seeing some intensely amazing buds, both on bushes and on trees. I could not believe what my eyes were seeing. This photograph below is of my bushes that have just begun to bud. This bud is so tiny, my guess off the top of my head, is, it is one-eighth of an inch in size. That is tiny, my friends (something like this … [–]). Setting up this tripod and getting my camera angled just perfectly, was so worth the effort. What I captured is pure Magic.
Look at the details, the crispness, the curves, the expression, the emotion, the Power, the sharpness of every single detail! I could just about imagine this bud dancing ecstatically to BE alive again! What an honor it is for me to have the invite I do into a world the majority of us just don’t even see, so that I can in turn, show you, how Mother really, without question, is the Greatest Creator, the Master Mind of all artists.
Now be prepared to be stunned, and hear your lips form the word WOW!
OH MY GOSH! Look what I found! Enjoy!!
You are amazing me to no end, Amy. I am so thankful that you are having these new devices and sharing such breathtaking insights of mother natures’ miraculous world with us. We would never be able to perceive this all with our bare eyes. Many, many thanks to you, dear Amy ❤
Erika, it is both my privilege and an honor to do this for Petals. This is where my JOY lives, in all that is connected to Mother and to my camera. You are SO welcome! The Treasures I am finding leaves me speechless!!! Have a great day! Love, Amy ❤
David, I elected to purchase a Manfrotto aluminum tripod and a Kirk BH Series Panning ball head. If you would like more information as to the specifics, I will get you the links. In purchasing the aluminum, the price was 1/2 that of the fiberglass. I wanted something extremely sturdy to handle my very heavy 70-300mm lens, so even though this is a heavier tripod, I feel I made the best choice for me. (((HUGS))) Amy ❤
I LOVE the example you gave of the little dash so we could see the real size! It’s amazing what detail is in that little bud. Life is all around us, struggling against the elements and reaching toward the heavens. Amazing photo Amy. 🙂 Your “new” tripod? Did you return the huge one for one that is more manageable?
Laura, the tripod I am referring to is the one I bought a few months ago. I am just now beginning to use it. Yes it is heavy, yet with all the gardening I am doing, that weight does not seem to matter as it did a few months ago.
I am in absolute awe what I am seeing, and what this new macro lens is doing. Amazing is not the word for what Mother is showing me!!! SO glad you enjoyed!!! Love, Amy ❤
That is truly amazing. I can’t believe that amount of detail you picked up in something so tiny, and certainly I would never guess it’s size judging from this picture Amy! You must be really enjoying that new lens of yours. Talk about macro!!
GRINNING! Yes I am enjoying this new lens and my imagination is just flying! When I “spied” this teeny tiny budy and saw the intricate design (yes I really did see this with my eyes), I was curious as to what it really looks like in all of its details. When I saw what I captured I just about fell off my chair! Yes, I am WOWing with the best of them! LOL Have a great day, Marissa!!! Love, Amy ❤
Neihtn, I am SO happy you made it over here to see this. No longer am I drooling over a 6D because my 50D IS my Dream camera! I cannot even begin to imagine anything better then this shot. I mean that. It is not only about who is behind the camera, but the camera (and lens) itself as well. Yes, I cropped this image in tight and when I did, I just about fell off my chair! I actually could see this bud with the naked eye, and what I saw, intrigued me. That is why I went for my tripod and camera to see what I could get. This image has surpassed anything I could even think about. Have a wonderful day!! Love, Amy ❤
WOW doesn’t describe it. I don’t think there is a word to describe what an amazing shot this is. And while I’m sure the special photographic equipment helps, I think it’s the talent of the photographer that makes it so wonderful. I know I couldn’t get a photo like that no matter what kind of camera and lens I had. Great eye, Amy!
I have read your comment several times, and each time, just so humbled and struggling to find the adequate words on my part, to describe how grateful I am to you. What I have been seeing, I wish I could just stare at for hours and hours, but with the “push” for me to finish these gardens, I only allow myself a portion here, a portion there. Fascination and wonder speaks to my Heart which in turn brings me so in the Moment, determined to capture not only what I am seeing, but the “energy” as well. To see Life again after such a brutal winter, is Pure Bliss to me. I get lost in Mother, and with my camera, I am allowed to go deep into the Mysteries of Her. I am so honored by your comment, and I hope my words in turn, have shown you how grateful I am, how humbled I am, how honored I am. Thank you from the bottom of my Heart. Love, Amy ❤
Aw, thank you, Amy, SO much! I am in complete awe of Mother right now. I wish I could just stare for hours, looking at the Miracles I am seeing with my own eyes. I have so many images that I have taken, yet, I am thinking perhaps some of them will be for next winter when these flowers are again asleep. I am so touched by your kindness, my friend. Love, Amy ❤
Andy, we all have to start some place. If your Heart is guiding you to get involved in photography, GO FOR IT!! I have, oh let me see … at least 15 solid years of experience under my belt. I was taking pictures as a young girl, but nothing serious. I’ve learned a LOT by hands on experience, something no one can learn from a book. Do it, Andy! I promise you, if you really are being urged by your Heart, you won’t regret it. Love, Amy ❤
I have the same feature in our camera, but for some reason, it doesn’t take as great as yours. 😦
Honey, it takes a lot of practice to get photographs as I am of late. Please do not compare yourself and what you do with me and what I do. That is only a recipe for unhappiness. BE inspired by what you see, learn from what you see, and apply that to your photography. BE observant to light, shadow, shape, and in all your shots, make sure the frame is filled. The background is just as important as your feature image. 🙂 I’ve come a long ways but the only reason I have, I did what I told you here, plus I practiced, taking thousands and thousands of pictures. Above all else, allow your Heart to be seen in your photographs. YOU will BE amazed by what you capture. (smile) Love, Amy ❤
