Three Days Off

Seeing how such glorious weather is here, and I have so many places in mind to go to in order to bring to you Beauty, I am taking today, Friday, through Sunday off from blogging. In so doing, I am off on adventures unknown presently, yet I seek and believe me, I shall find. I have a tentative idea on where I will be headed, yet that all can change in the blink of an eye, if or when my Heart says, “OVER THERE!”

Yesterday as I was shooting waterfalls the sun decided to come out. Sure, as I was biking there it was sprinkling and I thought to myself, “Perfect! Cloud cover!” I looked at those clouds telling them you will not pour down upon me. I arrived at my destination, and decided to shoot fast shutter speeds first, then the slow ones. Wouldn’t you know it, as I was perhaps one-third of the way finished with the slow shutter speed images, the sun pops out. Oops, those clouds really did hear me and scooted away to make room for the sun!

That means I must return to this beautiful place, either on a cloudy day or at twilight on an evening in my near future to continue the shoot in order to get every single angle of these gorgeous falls (in slow motion). And I shall! As I was sitting on a rock hoping that clouds would come back, I began to just BE. I took some images of the surrounding area around the falls, and I caught a trio of baby ducks sunning themselves on a rock while Mamma splashed around in the water, taking a bath.
