Upon seeing what my eyes were seeing, I honestly just could not stay away from here and NOT show you this picture of Meaghan. My little girl sitting there on the dining room table, pleased as punch, that she and she alone got HER scents on Mommy’s duster and cleaning rags.
My Heart expanded to the point of no return.
She sat so proud, so regal, and Meaghan actually looking at me? Without flinching? Pinch me!
Born a wild barn cat, Meaghan has kept her wild beginnings. She is skittish, avoids touch, is very quiet and very infrequently gives me eye contact. The most I see her is when I am sitting eating my dinner, when she knows I am not about to get up to go after her.
She is a tease. She woes me during dinner, and then the moment I am finished, off she scampers to a place unbeknownst to me, and stays there. I get my 5 minute Meaghan Love and that is it.
So, when I saw her sitting there on the dining room table, all snuggled in with those yes clean cleaning rags (my fav cat pj’s that I finally tossed) and my duster, I couldn’t resist. I had to take her picture and show you so you can go OH……ISN’T SHE JUST THE CUTEST?
And that is not all. Before dinner tonight, I laid on the floor to get a quick spine rub and acupressure treatment from hubs. Cleaning as I did today, is seriously challenging with the back I have. Anyways……
As hubs was doing his thing, Meaghan comes along and starts rubbing up against me. Well I’ll be darned! She was assisting hubs to bring energy into my body. And then, Rusty crawled in between my legs and he along with Meaghan, brought balanced energy, one from the feminine and one from the masculine source. Wow!
What an incredible experience. Rusty, FYI, was missing for 3 days, and put at least 100 grey hairs (new) in my hair. I actually did the street walk. That is, I was looking for a body. No more said there! He is alive and a stinker for going God only knows where, and then turns up this afternoon just before frigid weather comes rolling in.
But anywho! This article is about Meaghan! Somehow that Rusty manages to steal the show!
That being said, and before this body falls apart (desperately in need of hot steamy shower), here is the precious, totally breath taking, beautiful Muffy Girl, my Meaghan Fluff. Ya think I Love her? Hehehehehehe Oh yeah! And then some!
I also want you to take note, AGAIN, how my cats have the ability to blur themselves. All around Meaghan is clear, and when I took the shot, she was in perfect view. (sigh) I do my best. EnJOY! MUAH!
Meaghan Fluff, you are a pretty calico. Your mom is so happy when you come by her and give her energy. And when you looked right into the camera for your very own picture !!

Sunny, for Meaghan to look into the camera, “something” was up. This is NOT the norm for her. I was elated! Now, I had two other pics of her with her yes not looking directly at me, and of course, those pics came in clearer. What is with my cats that they can actually effect my camera?

She appears to have been attempting to blend in with the colors of the rags and the duster. What a beautiful cat!

Thank you for noticing! To be truthful, that just happened. These things “just happen” and it makes me laugh. As I edited the pic, I said to myself, that this pic is color co-ordinated, even the type of setting I took the pic at, for low light. The whole pic is “orange” including parts of Meaghan.
Thank you for BEing here! I am glad you are enJOYing Petals Unfolding!

PS Meaghan in realtime is even prettier. She is just SO shy, and when she sees a camera, she “puckers” face. One of these days I will get her full beauty on film!
