Sacred Sign

    1. There is something in seeing a Rainbow that does settle the soul, Annie, I really agree with you. When I saw the double rainbow, then the single one that seemed to stand vertically in the sky, I was stunned. I think I have only seen a double rainbow one other time in my life. I am holding on to the Hope that these signs gave me. ❤ Love, Amy ❤

    1. Thank you, Irene! I have not ever seen such a clear and bright Rainbow as this one. I edited Her with care so that all the colors I saw came clearly through in the image. I am so happy you enjoyed this. Love, Amy ❤

      1. All things in good time, Irene. Practice. I’m still improving with every shot I take. I am still learning with every shot I take. I just looked back a year ago with some of my posts and I am stunned how far I have come. You can do it too!!! ❤

      2. Thank you for your kind encouragement Amy. I mostly use my Android, a Huawei with a good camera. Otherwise my Canon Digital camera with no special lenses, just a camera. I will need a better one to be able to take so beautiful photos, as you do Amy.
I have taken photos for my earlier business through years and they were good enough, but never exceptional. This demands a great camera.

      3. My Canon 50D is no longer being sold, and let me tell you, I am hanging on to this one for dear life. I also have very expensive lenses for it is in the GLASS used that counts when buying a lens. A little while ago while photographing in a creek, this young boy grabbed a tree branch, swung and landed in the creek not too far from me, making a huge splash. His mother said nothing. I looked right at him and said, “Buddy, you almost got my camera wet. That is very expensive equipment!” He at first said nothing, and I stared at him. Finally he mumbled, “sorry”, and I in return said, “That’s OK. Just be more careful around camera equipment.” Yes, I really guard and am so careful with my equipment. I know I am so fortunate to have what I do, and so I cherish what I do have. If you are serious about photography, you really need to start Dreaming and planning on getting a good camera and lenses. 🙂 ❤

      4. My camera is a Canon PowerShot A490 as has served me well, but it teases me, when I wish to take special photos like waves hit the rock and sprinkle water in drops in front of me. Then both the camera and my Android phone are too slowly. So one day, when I can afford it, I will look for a better camera Amy.
You did it well with the boy, kids need to learn respect for peoples equipment 😉

    1. Thank you, Laura! This Rainbow was one of the brightest I have ever seen. And it was part of a double Rainbow. I will tell Angie when she gets here that there are several comments where people have extended their condolences. Bless you, my friend!! Love, Amy ❤

  1. We actually get rainbows quite often here is L.A., I think it’s because whenever it does rain the sun comes out so quickly afterwards. The weather wouldn’t want us to think it was getting soft after all! But I digress…My point is, of all the photos that have been posted on my FB page, I don’t think any has even come close to rivaling the beauty of this one. And what a nice message of hope to Angie.

    1. This Rainbow was like no other I have ever seen, Marissa. The colors were so bright and just glowing in the sky! This what you see here is a part of a double Rainbow but only this part was this bright. When Angie comes here, I will tell her there are comments where people are extending their well wishes and condolences. Thank you, my friend!!!! Love, Amy ❤
