    1. MY reaction exactly!!! LOL That’s why one of my tags says musing. Yep, sigh indeed!!! This image just grabs all in the right places, if you know what I mean. 😉 Have a great day, another Romantic Soul!! ❤

  1. My goodness! This is absolutely stunning. I don’t know how you do it!!! 🌸

Ps; I hope you are well. Sorry I haven’t been around much (I’ve been … Procrastinating! *hangs head in shame*)

    1. Thank you thank you thank you for your compliment, Amanda!!! I was JUST thinking of you yesterday and here you are popping up like a genie. As for shame. PLEASE throw that awful work right out of your vocabulary and your life. It’s a terrible word and evokes horrid emotions. Nope, no shame here. You are who are and if you are procrastinating you are. Simple. ❤ ❤ ❤

      1. Amanda, seriously it does not work like that unfortunately. There is a deep pattern in your brain that is titled shame. We all have been taught one or another to be ashamed of what we do and since reading a book about shame have learned how detrimental shame is to our health, frame of mind, and our social culture. It takes practice to change the habit of shame. I wish it was as easy as *poof*. ❤

      2. If only it were so easy! *deep sigh*

I have, however, learned to go easier on myself. If I don’t post once a week – so what! It’s not the end of the world. It actually makes blogging more enjoyable.

I hope you are having a wonderful weekend, my friend. 💗

      3. Amanda, forgive me for not yet commenting on your newest post. I’ve been so involved with my gardens. I do however have your post on my desktop so that when I do get a moment or two or um let me say, probably a good 15 minutes, I’ll reply. Love to you and I am so happy to hear you are going easier on yourself. Something happened today that my knee jerk response was to beat myself up, but I won’t. Yep I too have those times. ❤

      4. Thanks for letting me know, Amy. I’ll check when I log onto my computer later and I’ll save you from that damn spam box! Gah! I don’t know why it does that?! 😕

    1. I’m all about new right now, Marissa. (smile) This is not a flower. These are rose leaves that have just begun to sprout. They are tiny, oh about [___] that big, IF that. I saw how these formed such a graceful, romantic pleasure to the eye and so I got down on my stomach and captured them. I adjusted the background color to make it more romantic to fit my poem. I’m glad you enjoyed this!!! ❤

    1. Actually it is not a flower. LOL Those a very very tiny Rose leave sprouts about [____] that long if that. This shot took some thinking how best to get it because my elbows were actually laying on thorns. Yep, I was careful!!! ❤

  2. Your photography reminds me of Georgia O’Keefe. I can imagine her excitement at seeing how intimate you get with your subject. Many of her paintings were inspired by photos taken by her love! always a joy to come here!

    1. *doing the Happy Dance* You are not alone who has compared my Art to that of Georgia O’Keefe! What a true honor for I find her work mind blowing and it touches me in such a way, so deep, so primal, that I honestly don’t have words to describe that state. It is Bliss. It is HOME. And if my Art can do that for you, I am totally humbled. Thank you, Carol, for making my day!!! Thank you from the bottom of my Heart!!! Wow!! ❤

    1. THANK YOU, Kathy!!! I am just so tickled that I figured out how to edit on my new Mac. I had to call for help on how to transfer one file of pictures I am currently working on and from there, I got it after downloading PS and LR. Every day I am learning something new on this baby!!! Lots more to go but so far I really am getting it. I hope your day was a good one!!! ❤

    1. All of my macro photography is handheld, Dan. There will be instances that I do use my tripod. I especially appreciate when I am flat on the ground using my elbows and forehead to steady my camera. I have no stabilization on this lens so to get a picture like this takes a lot of concentration, stilling the breath, and the body. Not easy to do when I am tired and my hands tend to shake. As for the words …. Bless you for the encouragement. I am a romantic at Heart and I think (you never know with me) that I will be doing more posts like this. SO glad you enjoyed this and thank you for your feedback! ❤

      1. I give you enormous credit for being that steady, Amy. I have had very little luck with macro photography of any sort. As for the encouragement, you’re very welcome.

      2. Dan, if we were all good at macro photography, would you not agree this would be a very boring world? Some days are better for me, and positions, the higher I get from off the ground, the shakier I get. Probably somewhere down the road I will have to use my tripod, but for now I am grateful for my strong and steady hands. 🙂 ❤

  3. WOW! What passion! I have to admit, that really made me horney! LOL! Seriously Amy! This is one of the most beautiful passages I’ve heard from you to date… I hope it means what I pray it does… Me jumping up and down (Boing! Boing! Boing!)

    1. Well now, Darrell, I’m one of the Great Romantics and lately I don’t know what’s come over me but those romantic emotions are bubbling to the surface. So more then likely there will be more like this as the flowers “speak” to me in connecting to my Heart. Truth be told this baby grabbed me in all the right places 😉 so, I may be getting grey around the edges, but I still am far from dead. LOL I am SO glad you spoke your usual honesty. I get the biggest kick out of you! And oh, this was the first image I edited on my new Mac. Did you hear the news? I now have a new MacBook Pro laptop! Yippee!!! Oh let’s see what I can do!!! Have a boing day!!! LOL ❤

    1. I see your eyes do see and your Heart does feel and you fell under the spell of this image. So have I. The sensuality of what was set out before my eyes as I captured this Sacred Gift, stunned me and grabbed at me so hard, the emotions and feelings aroused were like a Churning Sea within. Oh my oh wow! The passions in an instant had me groaning out loud as I lay on the ground staring in wonder. The Magic I behold in my Gardens has me entranced, dear One. Thank you, Bless you for the reblog. Share the Love. I pray all who do see feel what you and I do. (((HUGS))) Amy ❤
