    1. Thank you, John! Thank you! I have never seen a duck on a roof either! Finding it VERY unusual, I didn’t even take the chance of opening my glass door to shoot, so I shot right through the glass. YAY!!! Someone is on the same wavelength as I am!!! (((HUGS))) Amy ❤

    1. Isn’t it though? When the rain clears up I want to get more of these. This is one of my new plants and the flowers are very very tiny. You wouldn’t know it to see this image, though. LOL I fell INTO that blue …. ahhhhhh …. Thank you, Marissa! Love, Amy ❤

      1. Not at all! Oh the magic of the camera. Now that you say how tiny they are, it’s makes me think I probably have seen something similar and never really focused on their beauty because of the size.

      2. The flowers are formed together on something like a stalk. So they are not alone. When these storms are over which we have been having, I will get a photograph and the name to show you … IF I remember! LOL

    1. When I saw what was inside this flower, I just about fell over! I looked through my viewfinder for a LONG time, just staring and staring. There is SO much in this image if you just take the time to look. This flower, I don’t even know Her name, shouts at me LOOK LOOK LOOK!!! And OH yes I look! I planted Her and another in my Mother Rose garden, and to see this bright orange is pure JOY. Thank you, Erika, for taking the time to really LOOK. This flower is SMILING! Love, Amy ❤

      1. I Love you, Suze. Hang in there. I just had to remove my personal self out of range into a quiet spot. Oh, yes, I too have had some trying days. Hold my hand, embrace the flowers, and we will make it together! (((HUGS))) Amy ❤

  1. I don’t know why I find it so amusing to see a duck on the roof. Maybe because I recently took a photo of a robin on a roof – but robins are expected to be there. I never think of ducks landing on roofs.

    1. I have never seen a duck on a roof, and that is the truth! He seemed to be looking for something, kept craning his neck first one way and then the other. We have a pair of ducks, who I call Mr. and Mrs. Duckie who eat the birdseed at our feeder who come back every single year. Well, this year I have seen two male ducks with the female, another never, and now this male on the rooftop. I was so nervous that if I opened my sliding door this duck would fly off, so I shot through the glass. He does have a nice profile, does he not? LOL (((HUGS))) Amy ❤

      1. She is already playing with my head. LOL Back and forth … I told her I was confused because the blog you sent me is not her blog? so she sent me to another non-blog that I THINK is hers too? Julie is making me laugh so hard. ❤

      2. Hmm, now I have to go over there and read the comments. The blog was basically set up for Julie by another blogger as a joke, and is managed by that other blogger. Julie posts there, as does Paul Curran, and hopefully other “homeless” bloggers will join them.

      3. So, let me get this straight. The blog you sent me to is the blog that was set by another blogger for Julie but somebody from the blog you sent me to, sent me Julie’s real blog. Do I have that straight now? Tee hee …. This is hysterical!!!!! So who have I been talking to if not Julie on the blog you sent me to? OHGOSH! I am peeing in my pants laughing SO hard!!!!!!

      4. No, Julie doesn’t have a blog of her own. That’s why the No-Blog-Blog (also known as JulieNoBlog) was set up – to give her and others like her an opportunity to write without have to set up and manage blogs of their own. You’ve been talking to Gibber – Gibber has a blog of her own (Gibber-Jabberin) but is also involved with the No-Blog-Blog.

Yes, it is confusing. But the posts are written by real, talented writers who now have a platform for their work. I’m only sorry I didn’t think of it first – I’ve invited all of them as guest posters, but never considered setting up a separate blog for them.

Sit back and enjoy! I have a sneaking feeling the JulieNoBlog a/k/a No-Blog-Blog will turn out to be the best blog ever.

      5. Whew! I just got it all sorted out. LOL OH did I ever have a good laugh! Honestly! I really do look forward to BOTH these blogs ….. Julie’s and Gibber’s. Thank you so much for explaining things. Wait until Julie gets online and begins reading my insane comments thinking I am writing to her. OH this is just TOO funny!!!!! I’ve already read through some posts and yes I am intrigued!!!!

      1. I would say they do need luck, Dana. As I watched this duck, he seemed to be craning his neck in different directions, as though looking for something. It was the oddes thing. I am SO thrilled he stayed long enough for me to capture him with my camera! ❤

    1. My shot is a lot more interesting then a Mallard on ashphalt, Yes I admit it. LOL I hope you saw my flowers too, the drop dead gorgeous two in the middle with raindrops on them and then the “climax” hehehehehehe (LOVE that word!) the last BRIGHT one that is a mind blower. “Raindrops keep falling on my head” is the song that just popped into my head. It’s been raining cats and dogs here and I ran out between downpours to shoot some flowers. Tee hee …. I’m hooked …. ya think? (((HUGS))) Amy ❤

    1. It’s a Mallard Duck, Ngobesing, on the roof, something I have never seen. Never. I feel extremely fortunate he stayed long enough for me to photograph him.
Bless you for your kindness toward me. I mean it. Your words were truly cherished this day!! Love, Amy ❤

    1. Bless you for noticing that all the photos I selected are like from a dream. I purposely did that, or rather, the images just fell into place to form this post. You are the only one who seemed to notice, so I really really thank you!!! Love, Amy ❤
