Some of you requested to see Fragrant Cloud, the Rose I presented in black and white, in Her real color. So, I took Her picture today, edited it, and now am presenting Her in brilliant orange.
Last evening, I entered the Twilight Zone. I wasn’t expecting what I saw before me, and as I did, I knew I had an extremely small window of time to get what my eyes saw transferred to an image. My tripod, set on a gravel bed at the edge of a creek, I quickly repositioned, zoomed in, and shot away,
Lack of forgiveness is one of the most corrosive of negative emotions. Forgiveness is the key to inner peace because it transforms your attitude from fear and blame into love and acceptance. It is not a sign of weakness, but of strength.
Yes, that time has come, even IF it is still raining, my gardens are calling me. That means I will not be here as often as I normally am. The blog visits, the interactions, the commenting, the being with you, all going to be radically decreased. And this time, it will be all weekend.
There is no better time to begin
then that time called NOW.
[Yes, this is the SPECIAL one I promised. You talk about straight from my HEART? You will understand when you read it and view it. With Love, Amy]
When I was a mere child of only five years of age
[Have fun with this one, my friends! I am continually amazed how fast this macro lens is and what I am able to create. May my amazement be yours today. Yes, I am out in my gardens today. No, this is not the “special” poem I promised you. That is still to come. ENJOY!!!! Know you are Loved by me!!! (((HUGS))) AmyFrom out of the corner of my eye I saw some movement on a tiny bud oh about a half an inch in size.
What did I tell you? When rain is forecasted here, it does not rain. So again I find myself looking at another garden day. Today, though, I will be a lot easier on myself then I was yesterday. As you can see from this photo, I did a ton of work yesterday. It doesn’t look like there is much in this garden (between sidewalk and house, towards the house), but there are a good (how many did I count yesterday?) ten maybe, Rose Bushes, most of them being ground cover Roses.
***TODAY I SHALL BE OUT IN MY GARDENS, WORKING ON MY SECOND LARGEST ONE. I MUST ONCE AGAIN CUT BACK NOT VISITING YOUR BLOGS AS MY USUAL (AND IF I MISSED YOURS YESTERDAY I APOLOGIZE). I ALSO ONCE AGAIN ASK YOU TO KEEP THE COMMENTS TO A MINIMUM. YOU KNOW I LOVE TO TALK TO YOU. SPEAKING OF, I HAVEN’T SEEN SHRIMP IN A WHILE AND I HONESTLY CANNOT BELIEVE WHAT I AM ABOUT TO SAY. SHRIMP, I MISS YOU MUNCHING ON MY FLOWERS! SUSAN, I KNOW YOU HAVE NEW POSTS, PLEASE BE PATIENT. PROFESSOR, I WASN’T ABLE TO COME OUT TO PLAY BECAUSE ROCKY HAD SURGERY AND NOW I MUST RETURN TO MY GARDENS. AND FOR ALL OF YOU, YES YOU, KNOW WHEREVER I AM, I CARRY YOU IN MY HEART WITH ME. I WILL BE SO GLAD WHEN THIS CHALLENGING PHASE OF GARDENING WILL BE OVER WITH SO THAT WE CAN GET BACK TO CHATTING AS PER USUAL. WITH SUN, CHUCKLES, AND (((HUGS))), AMYROSE***
[Dedicated to all who are struggling. Know you are Loved and prayers are said.]
Depression is a Deadly Dragon
I know I know I am supposed to be out in my gardens. But I ran back inside to wish all of you (again) a very Happy Easter!! Enjoy this day in the way that best suits you! I am happier in no other place then in my gardens in the Sunshine! Mud and all! … Continue reading Happy Easter, Everyone!!!
[Busy in gardens today. I would be so grateful if you were easy on the comments. I do MISS you!]
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~New Life New Life!!! What Joy What Joy!!!
[The “flower” part of this weed is about as big as HALF the size of a dime. It was so tiny, the smallest breeze made this impossible to get a perfectly clear shot.]
OH! I miss all of you SO much!!! BUT! I managed to get some pretty incredible progress done this week in my Gardens. Number 7 Garden has just been completed today, out of a total of 16. This involves, cleaning Winter debris, collecting it in a wheelbarrow and dumping it back near our compost, cutting back dead and brittle remains of plants, digging out weeds (yes roots and all!), applying horse manure, and then mulch. My Butterfly Bush has been cut back, a hard prune. That is the only thing I feel comfortable with the pruning process, because it is just still so cool here.
[Photos are of a Silver Maple Tree.]
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Just as the tree bud lets go and falls to the ground laying spent its role fulfilled,
[The angle that I shot the Daffodil was extremely challenging. First, it is tiny. Second, the space between the lower edge of the Daffodil is about 3 inches from the ground. The clarity on these could be better, so please take into account, I was laying flat on my stomach, camera propped on rocks, and me contorted to get my camera under the Daffodil.]
***For those of you who celebrate Easter, I want to wish you all a very Happy Easter! May the Light of Divinity shine ever so brightly! Blessings to ALL!***
I don’t know of any other way to be
*No special effects were used with editing. Only cropping and sharpening were employed.*
Yesterday again, I (again) saw something that defies logic. With my Canon camera, I captured Energy.
*No special effects done with image. The white round structure has the diameter about that of a human hair.*
Have any of you wondered what a Maple Tree bud looks like as it first begins to come back to Life? Well I wondered yesterday and so I prepared my macro lense, went into our basement to get a step ladder, and went out to look. I found treasure. I could NOT believe my eyes. Every day I view many photoblogs and I have yet to see what I photographed. You will be amazed. Amazingly awe amazed.
(Keep in mind when you view the photographs, I had a grown man acting like a little child, complaining he had to “potty”. So, my concentration was not 100% and I was most certainly not in my zone. Go ahead and laugh. A day in the life of me. Hmmmm … Anyways, these images were taken yesterday. You cannot imagine my JOY I felt when I saw COLOR and FLOWERS! All I wanted to do is loose myself and roam about to take picture after picture. I’ll remember next time … oh yes, there will be a next time! … I will be alone. That is, except for my camera.)
