Creating Fun

  1. Love the purple, blue, and last one of the “played with” photos, and I totally hear you about the house”work.” Ha! My husband’s twin brothers were here for a week (staying with us in our one bedroom condo), and finally made a comment to HIM asking why we didn’t use our dishwasher! LOL After I washed every dish, pot, pan, and glass for all four of us (and worked my job too)!
I wouldn’t have cared so much but they are all retired! Of course they were our guests though. Ugh
I kept telling myself we had wanted visitors…
    Life!

    1. Thank you, Sheila! I have the purple image as my desktop picture. We don’t use our dishwasher either, so there you go. As for men in general not pitching in, I’m undoing with hubby all the spoiling his mother did. He grew up not having to lift a finger regarding cleaning, making his bed, dishes, laundry etc. Well, I am happy to report hubby does his own laundry now, makes his bed, and actually cooks dinner AND cleans up those dishes every night. I’d say I did a good job of retraining him, wouldn’t you? 🤣 Oh those days are over where men in my home think the woman does the work. Uh uh.

On the whole we don’t have visitors and that’s OK. Sadly our families have gone their separate ways, yet this is good as well, for their ways are definitely not ours. I’d rather not have people in our home who look down upon us because of our choices. When people finally decide to accept others for who they are, perhaps we again will have guests. Until then, we like the way we live.

Sending you so much love today. BIG (((HUGS)))!! xoxox

      1. Oh, I sooo love how you untrained your hubby, and he’s part of the team now! Haha! My hubby does the manly stuff, trash, driving, killing the occasional bug, and was doing dishes until his stroke. Now, we simply have a New Normal I suppose. At least he still puts his dirty laundry in the washer (our hamper), and puts his clothes away after I wash, dry, and fold them.
My dad used to love to wash dishes. I never knew that though until he had to start doing that daily when my mom got Alzheimer’s. Ugh. Life. The great equalizer.

      2. I also love how I untrained hubby. LOL And he does all the guy stuff as well. He really saw how much I carry on my plate taking care of cats and such, and so he began to pitch in. Today he is a really good cook and my dinners just keep getting better and better. Yummy!!! I am so grateful for all he does do for that gives me “time” to be here and delve into my photography which is the LOVE of my life. I’ve learned how to zoom in between the time atom in order to do all I do. GRIN!!

Yes life I can attest will give you a go and then some. I am so grateful for the phase we are in right now. We’ve been through too many hells. Not so today. xo

    1. Thank you, John. My husband’s favorite is the black and white one too, yet he favors black and white photography. I think they are all beautiful, but then again I’m biased because I am the creator. SMILE!!

  2. Hey Amy, there is some incredible stuff in here, you must have played with a few buttons to achieve these. I’m impressed, they bring up some great effects. Take a bow…and especially for saving the fur baby cat. Love is in the air, no matter what we have for hair. Well done 😀❤️🙏🏽

    1. Mark, you are the only one that I know of who said anything about the cat I saved from starving. I’m sure he felt the love here and made a run for it. He just knew he’d find a woman with a big heart who would make sure his little belly would be full.

And thank you so much for what you said about my art. I showed my images to someone I know and he was just blown away. So yes, I do pat myself on the back for playing and take a bow as well …. my playing turned out to be pretty impressive.

Sending you much love your way! Dang I keep hitting something while typing to you and I keep getting another window. OK. What are my fingers doing???? LOL

      1. Ah, so there are many more animal lovers out there Amy. It touched me as I’ve always lived in the country and there are always many lost, sick and injured animals everywhere. A quick story…mid winter, (I had my big jacket on which you tie up around the hips), and I saw a kangaroo on the side of the road as I was going to work, and it moved so I thought poor thing, it’s been hit by a car and is badly injured. I pulled up to see what I could do and as I squatted down and bent forward to check it out…a baby kangaroo was looking up at me from inside mom’s pouch. I reached over to take it out but it saw the big opening at my neck, thought it was a pouch and dived headfirst into my coat, turned right side up and had its head looking out from under my chin. I was gobsmacked. I was laughing so much as I took baby ‘roo’ to the local wildlife injury place. There they deal with them often as they had a coat hanger with a bag (pouch) hanging off them, they just asked me to hold the pouch in front of it and bend forward…and it just popped straight out into its new home to which they would raise it till it was old enough to set free in a forest somewhere. They leave an imprint these furry critters, even the dirty marks all over my jacket and shirt…but I’d do it again in an instant 🤣❤️🙏🏽

  3. Love the photos, Amy. Thank you on behalf of the starving cat. As for the work in housework, at least the kitty-cats didn’t see it as a catastrophe. (Pun intended). 😻

    1. Hello, my friend!! I’m here at last!! LOL You are welcome on behalf of the starving cat. Avigail, there is no other higher high for me than to know I am making a difference in someone’s life. I’m praying that this cat is a male, which I “think” he is, yet the lighting in the barn is not too good. I’ve been searching my memory banks regarding if female cats wander, not just “toms”, and to my knowledge, only the toms wander. Toms go out and about to the female wherever she is but she stays where she is. OH how I HOPE this is true in this situation for I’ve cleaned up years ago one huge mess with kittens involved from this barn and I do not ever want to repeat that scenario.

Anyways, my kitchen floors and first floor hallway have been cleaned and so far no outward signs of protesting by my cats. Perhaps they too are happy they have clean floors, for cats in actuality love clean.

Thank you on my art. I had so much fun! Sending you lots of love and peace this day!! (((HUGS)))!! xo

      1. Amy, you are very precious human, deserving of all things good in this world. Cats do love cleanliness (especially their litter boxes) and clean laundry fresh from the dryer! Thank you for sharing the stories of your life. Wishing you a wonderful weekend full of love and delight. 💓💓💓

  4. Beautifully playful dear Amy🧑‍🎨 The artist in you is coming out! What fun indeed, it’s what keeps us going in these days as we feel the pressure! I believe you explain exactly the pressure I’ve been feeling and write about! I’m also tempted to purchase photoshop! The new cat must feel he landed in heaven and the others too inside being able to smell each other! Ha ha! I’m sure you’ll feel like that kind of work soon enough! Enjoy these days, much love barbara x

    1. Thank you, Barbara! OH I love love love to create. I LOVE not only using my hands to create but my soul. I have disconnected from the world for what is occurring is beyond what I can handle, and not only that, most of it, I’ve known for years. This information now coming to light is mainly for those who have been in denial, so that being said, I just keep on bumping my head up against the clouds as I fly and sing! We are rapidly moving towards a great transformation that will change our lives forever in such a beautiful fantastic way, in that the ways of evil will be left forever behind us. However, change always begins with self.

And yes on that new cat. I’ve seen him about last Summer but truth be told I thought I was seeing things. He looks exactly like the barn cat in that barn already only he has no white markings on his face. Every time I go to the barn, our Rusty especially has his nose pressed in my leg attire smelling smelling smelling those delicious smells from the barn when I come home. There is no greater high for me than to be able to help someone in trouble. To see this cat eating sends rainbows down to my soul.

Sending you much love this day!!!! (((HUGS)))!! xoxo

    1. Aw, thank you, Kamal. I really had so much fun doing what I did. All of us need to reacquaint ourselves with our Inner Child, let go and just have fun. We adults tend to be so serious too much of the time. Sending you so much love this day!!!

    1. I was about to reply to someone else when your comment caught my eye. I’m not too keen on “the experts” label, yet forest bathing feels soothing and somehow fits. When I’m in a forest I’m walking into another realm, one of the NOW moment, full of love and healing in every heartbeat, every breath. I am surrounded by the “real world” that which is called Mother by me. I connect powerfully to Mother in every sense of the word. When we allow Mother to touch our souls, our spirits, we are truly transformed. An alchemy process takes place just as one does while soaking in an epson salt bath.

As a friend used to say who now is passed, “Don’t throw out the baby with the bath water.” In other words, not everything is true and not everything is false.

Loved your comment and I thank you for leaving it. I’m intending that my reply perhaps made you a “think” a bit. SMILE!!
