  1. I’m not sure if WordPress has been messing around, Amy but I haven’t seen a post from you in a long time. It’s good to see you haven’t lost your sense of humor, your love of cats or your brilliant eye for nature. I hope things have been going well for you.

    1. Good morning, Dan!! I took off a few months needing to address my health and my family and just to chill. I actually posted a week ago this past Sunday so this is actually my second post in a while. Yes I am well as is my family for we have elected to live our lives according to us. I hope you and your family are well too. No I haven’t lost my sense of humor as hubby can attest. When I viewed this video I laughed so hard I had tears. Sending much love your way. Will be over to see your place …. I’m involved with cat care at the moment. xo

  2. The cat video is well done Amy. and so in tune with their ‘ways’ 😂
And your pictures are ‘life’, and I do think you captured something as it stepped beyond your lens. And I think they only give ‘whispers’ of themselves to those that believe in them 😀
Glad to hear your voice again, I hope all has went well 😀 ❤️ 🙏🏽 🦋

    1. Good to know you got a good laugh, Mark. Humor goes a long ways these days! My eyes are seeing differently as is reflected in my images. I am just fascinated with Light. Oh I believe let me tell you and if I spilled all that I know and believe on my blog, most people would think I have lost grips on reality. Perhaps I have and that is why I can see true. Hmmm …..
All is well. A few bumps in the road here and there but hey, that’s life, is it not? Still digging, my friend, with that darn teaspoon. Oh, no wait. I am grateful for that spoon. Yes? (wink!) Much love to you! xo

      1. Whoa hold on!!! Be very careful what you wish for, Mark. That spoon represents a whole lot of horse poop so if you really want a teaspoon, go for it. Ya best think long and hard before you give up that toothpick. Just sayin’ ….. LOL

  3. I’m not a cat person, Amy, but this video had me in tears from laughter! I suppose those are the chief reasons I don’t choose to have a cat. Dogs just don’t act like that! Lovely photos, too. I’m amazed your roses still look so healthy and lush!

    1. Oh, Debbie!! You are so precious!! I laughed out loud when I read your words on how much you enjoyed the video!! I laughed like that as well when I first watched this. I howled! My roses are going down slow but sure and in fact I have one rose bush that is almost as tall as me! Never have I seen this!! I plan on getting some pictures to prove my words. Sending you so much love and peace!! xoxo

    1. Thank you, Kamal. I’m just so happy you stopped by to enjoy this post. I had to step away for a while, dear friend, so now that I am back, I will be posting when my heart guides me to. Sending you much love this day! xo

  4. Absolutely loved the video Amy. It was puurfecf! So creative, funny and so true “everyone exists to serve me”. As a cat lover from years ago I know how true that is. Thanks for the smiles and also for your exquisite photos of nature which, as always, uplift me. Big hugs and much love my friend. 💜 xxxx

    1. I’m thrilled you so enjoyed the video, Miriam. I howled when I first viewed it. Oh yes it is absolutely purrfect!! This woman is brilliant! As for my photography, my eyes are seeing differently along with my heart so what you have begun to see I’m not sure where this is taking me. I just know I’m doing as my heart guides me to. Big hugs right back to you and all my love as well!! xoxo

  5. Oh Amy, I can relate to every part of the video. I love all animals but we had cats most of my life and I’ve had the mouse head gifts, come home to find all parts of a bird eaten except the feathers and been tripped coming out of the bathroom so many times by the latest cat who seemed to be laughing at the time that it’s not funny to me any more. As usual, the photography is wonderful and in another of your posts I saw the first of this years Autumn leaves. Ours haven’t turned yet so it will be a week or so before I can see them here. Thank you so much for all of this love! Hugs!

    1. I know me too, Angie. The amount of cats I have known over these years I think I’ve seen it all. That is said with no exaggeration. Cookie when she was outdoors used to leave me gifts all the time on my steps. Those days are over.
Autumn is coming in slow but sure and instead of running crazed to get it all in, I’m just photographing when I’m itching to. I’m learning to slow down and in the process doing a lot of Inner Work. You are very welcome for this post. Much love to you!! xo

    1. Thank YOU for that wowww! My time off from here was worth the wait to hear that exclaimed wow! Magic is surely about as I can attest and when we seek that magic, the world is transformed. My eyes are seeing differently as well as my heart, so my pictures do reflect these changes. Just thrilled you enjoyed this, Prag!! Much love to you! xo

      1. When we seek that magic the world is transformed – so perfectly said!! There is a deeper layer of detailing, if I may say so, like you dropped another gorgeous level deeper of seeing things more closely – you brought me down to seeing that magic now 🙏🏼💛🌹

  7. The textures in Photograph 9 are really good. They might be equally good if turned into b/w. I liked also the daisies in No 13, and if you scroll them up and down, the middle daisy’s petals appear to move. Overall, a lovely set of pictures.

    1. Scott, if I could hug you I would. I’ve been shooting differently as lately I am seeing differently. Your encouraging words mean so much to me! I “think” you are the only one who has observed how my shooting has changed. It thrills me that some are paying attention. Thank you!!!! xoxo

  8. The cat video was hysterical and applies to every cat that I have served! Thank you for sharing it. I really liked your third photo. It gave me the impression that I was looking at a different place in the water reflection than what was actually in the rest of the photo.

    1. You are most welcome for sharing this cat video, Rosalie. I take care of 5 very special cats and believe me, as I told my sister just yesterday, there are days I feel like their slave. All good though! LOL The picture that spoke to you the loudest is my favorite. It just feels mystical as it pulls you in to see more and more. So glad you enjoyed it! May your day be truly blessed! xo
