And so it is the day dawned sunny but very chilly. In my excitement of perhaps finding early Spring ducks, I neglected to put on my thinking brain. Sure the last park I went to the fast moving creek was flowing, yet a pond? Well, I did get the last laugh let me tell you. The park I went to on that particular day every pond was frozen solid. Ducks, you said? No, Ame, not a chance. Believe me that day was frigid! My thinking brain came back in a hurry when I saw ice.
Yet, when I returned home and on my way to the barn next door to give Karma her daily goodies of slices of an apple and carrots I saw something. In passing my garden I stopped mid-step. To my astonished eyes I saw color, purple to be exact. Oh my goodness! I have crocuses coming up. In scanning my gardens I began to see New Growth all over the place!!
How is this possible? The ground is frozen and very cold! If we could hear plants, would we hear them screaming in agony as they push through the brutally frozen ground, or would we hear them singing in exultation in triumphant joy that yet again they told Winter bye-bye! I would like to think that these brave and yes very tough early Spring flowers sing sing sing their hearts out for all to hear as they reach for the sun!
Do we scream when painful New Growth comes upon us or do we sing in exultation knowing we are expanding into more of who we are? I’d like to think that myself personally I sing more then I scream, although, I must admit there are times there are moans and groans and oops expletives. New Growth is tough!!! Yet ….. these flowers are pros and then some!!
Feel the emotion expressed in each image. Music starts out slow then …. LISTEN! And feel!!! For full effect begin to look at pictures when you hear the music begin to explode! Slow down, breathe, and feel.
