    1. The good news on my end, the temps warmed today and all that snow is melting, Nara. Thank you for telling me you saw the ice on the beak. Cool. Much love and peace to you! xo

  1. Weather men are all same across the globe I believe…hardly ever is any forecast absolutely correct…
It does not snow at my place ..though it has been raining last couple of days ..and it is cold …but having lived in snow bound areas I can well understand the need to keep the pathway open and the roof clear ..
    Beautiful pictures as always Amy..
    Stay blessed 🙏😇

    1. Yeah what is up with those weathermen? Right? I thank you for the words of kindness, Krish. Hubby did an outstanding job but all that hard work is melting away today as the temperatures warmed up. You stay blessed as well. Much love to you! xo

  2. How cool Amy! I know what you mean about the forecasters -they suck. I check BBC weather for my area and it’s usually very wrong – when I use it to plan with – I get soaked on a walk. I have to just not even check and bring an umbrella everywhere. This morning we had a light dusting of snow – it’s gone now. They are forecasting a huge storm tonight? Anyway, best to be prepared for anything since we can’t trust the forecasters!! Stay warm!! Much love, Donna

    1. Donna, I’ve learned to roll with the punches, especially after this year. I honestly don’t know what one day will lead to the next so I have gotten into the habit of keeping calm and accepting whatever comes. Easier said then done at times. I like to gauge what Mother is doing and Her creatures in order to figure out the weather but even She at times is confused. When we get the really big storms, those are the times forecasters said nothing. Go figure, right? Sending much love to you!! xo

    1. Kamal, that bird was incredible, not moving at all the entire time hubby was in the backyard. How he trusts us! And as for the snow …. it is melting. I will be taking a lot of snow pictures this year when we get the snow so you will see things again you have never seen before. Believe me, that snow is cold!! LOL Much love to you!! xo

  3. OMG, brrrrrrr….and I just shivered only by looking at that tons of snow, snow and snow. It is sure extremely cold and beautiful, but I can imagine the hard work your husband is doing. Poor bird, must be freezing cold. Take care and stay safe Amy.

    1. Dee, yes snow is cold I’ll grant you that, but when it first falls I must admit it is beautiful. My husband does work hard to keep life easy for me in so many ways. I too felt sorry for that bird. Hope your Christmas was a good one this year. Many blessings to you. xo

      1. I agree Amy, First rain of the monsoon season is also very soothing and beautiful. As such we don’t celebrate Christmas but when my daughter was young she used to love decorating Christmas tree and all activities related to the festival along with her friends. Probably when they know there is no real Santa Claus, slowly their charm starts fading. But I baked carrot muffuns and garlic bread. Something cheerful between all the damp atmosphere of virus. Hope you had a wonderful festival with good health and your awesome clicks!

Keep warm dear friend… Much love heading your way…. Lots of Hugs ❤ ❤ ❤

    1. Thank you, Sue. I do the same as you … look out my window, poke my head out the door, “feel” what Mother is doing, look at the skies, look to the wildlife, and then go from there. Notice how that hawk was all puffed out keeping himself warm. Amazing isn’t it? Our bird feeder has been slow this year and I’m concerned that the 5G towers near here have something to do with it. I want so badly to tear them down! Thank you for the love ….. I’m feeling it. You have helped me so much lately. I am so so grateful to you. Goddess bless you! (((HUGS)))!! xo

    1. Dearest friend, I saw what you sent and like I told you I couldn’t be happier for you. Being true to yourself is the most important gift you can give yourself. If we do not love ourselves or are true to ourselves, it isn’t possible to love or be true to others. I’ve had transitions of my own, not like yours, yet the outcomes are the same. In my younger years I really didn’t know what true love was or how to love myself for that matter. I didn’t know how messed up I was until my Inner Journey began many years ago. Today I exist as a new woman, born from out of hard work, determination, and many Lessons. To finally feel me as who I’ve know me to be, is the greatest miracle of all. To know you are on this Self-Awareness Journey brings me great joy. Much love to you, StacyAnne!! xoxoxo

  6. That is some serious snow. I love the photo of the hawk in the snow. You got out and got some amazing pics. Hand pushed snow plows are completely foreign to me.

    1. Yep, some serious snow, Tim, which today is just about gone. At least most of it. Thank you for the “amazing pics”. That is called a snowblower which most home owners have here. It’s that or a shovel or a snow plow service. My last picture I believe shows a snow plow service truck. Glad you enjoyed!

  7. I’m shivering, just looking at all this snow! Beautiful photos, Amy, and your hubby did a good job with the blower-thingy. One of my neighbors has one, and it looks way more efficient than my measly shovel, ha!

    1. Oh, Debbie, you didn’t have to come over! I know you are taking a break from blogging … we all need one now and then. That blower-thingy is very heavy … no way could I handle it. Hubby was so exhausted he ended in bed at 7pm. None of us is getting any younger, but we still are moving which is the important part! My neighbor’s husband passed away a few months ago, and she now has a plow service do her driveway. I told her, “way to go!!”. Our driveways are LONG and it would take forever to shovel. Anyways …. thank you so much for taking the time to stop over. I really do appreciate it. Much love to you!! xo

    1. You being in Florida, of course this is not the norm, but here it is, YellowCable. I’ve seen much worse then this. To me it was no biggie. Hubby got all excited but me? Naw! It is a part of the territory living where we do. Glad you enjoyed a day in our lives. SMILE! xo

  8. Wonderful snowy photos Amy, especially that one of the hawk, what a’ magnificent (and cold) looking bird he is. As I’m sure you’re aware it’s hot here in December though this year we seemed to get four seasons in one day. You’re right, the weather man rarely gets it right. Wishing you lots of love in these final days of 2020. Big warm hugs sent from afar. xxx ❤️

    1. Thank you, Miriam. As for that hawk, he’s been hanging around our backyard but to see him show no fear towards hubby with a huge snowblower was mind-blowing! I’ll take your hot over my cold. LOL Wishing you lots of love and peace in these final days of 2020. BIG HUGS in return!! xo

    1. Yep, here and gone. Today was a gorgeous sunny day which I so enjoyed. Rains are coming but hey, like you said, life in Buffalo! The pics of the rural areas in this post? Not sure what you are referring to. That is my backyard if that is what you mean. We have an acre of land and over 1/2 we left wild for the birds. And across the street from us is the farmer’s property that has these huge trees that the Red Tail Hawks use all the time to hunt in his fields. I love living here. Hope you had a good Christmas!! xo

  9. I love the picture of the hawk, and I understand your hub’s reaction. The first few snows are fun. The validation that our preparation was sufficient feels good. We don’t normally get anywhere near as much as you guys. I’d kinda like a truly big snow once in a while. We’ve had them, but not for many years. The pictures are excellent.

    1. Thank you, Dan. That hawk was incredible! Be careful what you wish for. Heavy snow and a lot of it is not fun to plow through. I’m glad you enjoyed the pictures. Just a day in our lives. Hope you had a truly blessed Christmas. xo

  10. So God has one of those really big machines they have on the snowfields Amy? 😂 🤣
I still haven’t seen that white stuff dear lady. After this year I think I’ll go play in one of those white fields somewhere and make a few of those angel imprints in the snow. Somehow I think I’ve been missing something 😀 ❤️ 🙏🏽 🦋 😂 🤣

    1. Careful what you laugh at, Mark. Karma and all that …. LOL. You don’t know what you are missing. As I’ve told you in previous years go stick your head in your freezer. You’ll get the idea real fast how cold snow is. LOL xo

      1. Lol…oh Amy, how many times have I been told to stick my head in there…but maybe with slightly different meaning lol 😂 🤣
Thank you kind lady, and in that case I think I may take a long sleeve shirt with me too 😀 ❤️ 🙏🏽 🦋 😂 🤣

    1. Hi, Brad. I love a good snowstorm. I honestly do think it is pretty and exciting to watch how that snow comes down and how it drifts. Not too fond of the cold however. I did go to a park when this white stuff fell and the day was beautiful, I have to say. Happy Holidays to you as well. Thank you! xo

  11. The poor hawk…Amy, it is just slightly cold here and I cover myself in two blankets…Though snowfall looks lovely to some of us, it must be very tough for you to experience such a heavy one. Hope it is warm now.

    1. Count your blessings, Julie. Snow is cold and it at times never seems to end. If I had my cameras with me today I would have gotten some pretty bird pictures. But instead I just enjoyed the moments as birds flew and fluttered all around me. What an experience! And yes my hubby is very conscientious about keeping both our driveway clean and making me paths so I can easily get to the barn next door and my bird feeder. I’ll tell him what you said!! He deserves a pat on the back for everything he does for this family!! Bless you! xo

I wish you a very GOOD New Year filled with many surprises and many blessings! Thank you for your well wishes …. I’m working on getting me to feel the love and joy as I normally do. After loosing one of our babies, which we recently did, it always does take time. Sending you much love, dear friend! xo

  15. We had a similar snow yesterday and last night. I’ve awoken to a beautiful winter wonderland. You are right though, I’ll be itching for Spring in no time. (The older I get, I’d say this will begin tomorrow and not in March.) Pre-ccp/covid, a sunny and warm winter getaway offered a little reprieve. Now, I don’t know if that will ever happen again depending on vaccine mandates. Just one more reason to stay in this exact moment where all is well. Thanks for the follow. Warm wishes to you. 🙂

    1. I will not put my energy into vaccines in any way. I will put my energy into love and beauty and continue to live my life as I was taught by my Inner Guidance. My world is beautiful. I will not allow the outer world into it. That being said, Winter is not my favorite season however ….. I am learning to love it. Stay in the moment and be in your world …. all is good!! You are welcome for the follow. xo

      1. Totally agreed. No vaccines for me either. I believe our bodies have been miraculously created and are amazing in so many ways. Winter is not my favorite either but there is a unique beauty to it. 🙂

      2. I studied Anatomy and Physiology in college and believe me our bodies are Miracles and are made to fight off microbes. This nonsense that a pill or a vaccine will “save” us is just that. Nonsense. As for Winter, I’ve begun to adjust. I’m seeing a LOT of happy people lately in parks. WOW!!

      3. My WP account is acting strangely…not recording my previous likes or replies so apologies if my correspondence here is odd.

One thing I will add is that besides nonsense, the vaccines are dollars/profits. I haven’t had time yet to view Sue’s video on Fauci but presume it may include that sentiment as well…
