Explosion!

OK, kids, are you ready to be lifted off your feet? Are you prepared for such an explosion of color your life will be forever changed? Come with me then! You are about to experience a mind-blowing experience. Get ready for you are going to fly so high your head will hit the sky!

Most of the trees are showing their colors at their tops, not fully yet. I did manage to find some that are full color. Are you sure you can handle this? Put your seatbelts on!! You are about to fly!!!

This is what met my eyes when I parked my car.

 

From there as I walked up the trail I saw this:

 

And then forget it. The moment I was in the forest my life exploded!

 

WOWZA!!! Did you feel the LOVE? Powerful!

    1. I know, Dan!! I was transported into another entire world! Don’t give up on your end. For a while I really thought our Fall was going to be a dud. I’m SO excited by what is exploding!! xo

  7. Whoa Amy!! Mother at her most spectacular!! You totally caught the best of colors and WOWED us with their brilliance!! Absolutely gorgeous, I love the fall just for this reason. The trees have a lovely smell too – almost as if their colors are blossoms! The forrest is a lovely place to be this time of year – thanks for allowing me to take that journey with your photos!     1. I know, right? I am SO excited to go to yet another park where there is nothing but Oak Trees and the vision of them when they are fully in color is beyond words!! This week I’m going there! And I have so many pictures yet from Sunday to show. This is the time of year I feel like I was in the starting gate ready ready ready and when that gate opens OH I am running! LOL I agree about the smell. It is intoxicating!! Those who choose to wear masks are missing out on so much, sad to say. I too love the Fall due to the colors and the smells but I’m not too fond of the cold to follow. Perhaps this year I will fall in love with Winter. LOL Been saying that now for what(?) 3 years. *sigh* Miracles do happen!! Much love back atcha!!! xoxo

    1. Not strange at all, Rob! The “energy” on that day was mystical, otherworldly, powerful, mind-blowing. I LOVE that picture you speak of. It pulls you right into an adventure.     1. Thank you, Kamal!!! The colors depending on where you go, are mind boggling! I plan on going to another park this week, perhaps even tomorrow. I hear snow is coming this weekend and I just want to get my hunting for colors before that happens. Bless you today! xo

    1. I love the forest in the Fall too, Erika. Was just in one today but I don’t think I will return. Carrying my heavy equipment while hiking up and down hills, just not fun for me anymore. I’m going back to THIS park where these pictures were taken probably on Sunday hoping this time the trees will be in full color. I’m trying to figure out how to get through the mountain of comments here, get out to take all these pictures, blog, and then LIFE on top of that. Whew!! If you come up with any brilliant ideas let me know. LOL Much love to you! xo

      1. I am sorry, I don’t have a solution. If I had one, I would be more present. Too much coming together and I am running on the edge of the possible for weeks if not months. I am working two jobs, a pretty taxing employed one and self-employed, reorganizing my business incliuding developing and producing skin care products, developing a whole new website, developing layouts for several print material, managing a family, household and big garden, and on top of it, I am in the end spurt of the first year of my education (exam ahead). I am only functioning. But thank God, all the big family events this year, like my husband’s and my 50th birthday party, my youngest son’s 18th birthday party, and my uncle’s 80th birthday event are already behind me…. All caused a lot of time to organize the events… Now you know, why I am showing up so rarely and don’t blog like I used to for so long🥵

      3. I knew you can relate, Amy. I decided to cut off time of my blog temporary. I don’t like it but it was the fadtest way to make at least a bit room for all the other things I cannot just push aside. But I cannot blame anyone but me. I simply underestimated the effort and that everything is piling up between August and Oktober. I hope, I learned my lesson, eventually💁🏻‍♀️

    1. Your words have motivated me to go back to this forest this coming weekend to get more shots like the first one you speak of and to another park as well. I was at a park today and due to being sacked by life lately, it was just too darn hard to hike with all my heavy equipment. I require “easy” right now and I know exactly where to go.         This wouldn’t a change a thing about how much I appreciate your work, still I want o share that you are actually giving me a glimpse of fall magic at my desk as I have been home bound for a month now and am unsure when I will go out on any walks soon. All is well yet this is what my body needs currently, to stay in. So there might be an extra layer of what a gift you are bringing to me 🙂

These are amazing Amy, I cannot get used to the colors you guys have over there. ‘Downunder’ has mostly evergreen type tree’s so we never get colors like this in our ‘fall’, and to see this is beautiful. Don’t get me wrong there are many tree’s that do this in people’s yards and council areas, but they are little bursts (and appreciated all the more when seen), but you guys are ‘blown away’ by entire forests alive with all these colors. I’d forget to take photo’s being mesmerized by all the beauty xoxo 😂 🤣 ❤️ 🙏🏽 🦋

    1. Now to hear your enthusiasm and your inner child was SO worth posting these pictures, Mark. I was entranced! Amazed! Taken to another world! I’m lucky I didn’t get a crick in my neck from all the craning I did! LOL I cannot wait to go to another park where I’m hoping to catch the colors there! I believe it is THIS week where I’ll find the best colors. I wish I could somehow have the smells on this post as well ….. oh, Mark, there is nothing like walking on crunching crackling leaves and smelling what those leaves smell like.   30. That certainly is bright! Your autumns are so much brighter than ours apparently, because the minerals in your soil produce brilliantly coloured leaves on the trees that absorb them. Or so I read in a newspaper article.

    1. I have no idea why they are so bright, John. I believe it is partly from the decreased numbers of hours of sunlight and the increasingly colder days. I’ve never heard about the minerals in our soils contributing to the change of colors. How interesting.

  34. Oh my favorite time of year Amy, the explosion hasn’t quite made it here yet. It is close though. Is it not the most precious site, the changing of the season. Autumn to me warms my heart through my eyes, preparing the heart for the next season with excitement.

    1. The explosions are spotty this year, Sandra, which is making it difficult for me to hit an area just right. Went to a park yesterday which I will not be returning to due to the difficulty of hiking the large hills. Someone told me it was peak out there …. wrong! So, back to this park where you see colors hoping that this time the trees will be fully in bright colors. Pictures I got yesterday yes good. So lots to choose from which is how I like it. The sights and the smells and the air freshness …. the crunching and crackling of leaves underfoot …. now that is heaven!! I’m not nuts about winter and doing my best to fall in love with the season. LOL Maybe this year? xo

      1. Yes Amy, mostly for me is the smell, the forest and the trees are so unique and refreshing, And once the colors reach the point of where your photos are, one windy day and they are all gone. Now if snow would disappear with one windy day, that would be great. 🙂

      2. I agree about the snow …. it just is around TOO long, darn it. Hope to get one full forest of color this weekend then I can cool it for a while. I’m committed to bring to many Fall unlike what they know Fall to be. It’s challenging! But I’m doing it! xo

      3. You have taken care of the fall blast photos and of so beautiful. We are camping this weekend, but the colors are just not here, most of the leaves have dropped already, but it is still fun to walk in the woods on the crunchy leaves and smell the pine trees. 🙂

    1. Holly, the colors are not changing as they normally do here either. It’s been a lot of work and effort on my part to find those pockets of color where they are bursting. It’s been a very odd Fall. Perhaps Mother is seriously weary of all the heavy energy and She is not able to put forth what it takes to bring Her trees into full glory. I don’t know. Many trees are just dropping their leaves. Others, are muted in color instead of bright. I have one more place to go with hope that I will catch the FULL color in a forest. It will happen sometime this week.
      I’m so thrilled you are enjoying my Fall series. I “feel” your enthusiasm right through your words. (smile) Know I have done quite a bit of running in order to obtain the glory I know Mother is capable of. Thank you for praying that I am getting enough rest. We see a moment but it was many moments that made it so great. I’ve had the pleasure of being close with two professional photographers and it is an art. No doubt about it.
