It’s been spotty at best, confusing overall, and it seems beginning this week, those Fall colors I’ve been seeking, will set me upon a race. A lot of the trees around our locality (about a 2 mile radius) have turned colors already with other trees dropping their leaves, exposing bare limbs. Then a few miles down the road, trees are all green yet. Go figure.
With the pictures I present to you today, may they bring magic into your day today. Take a few moments to drink in the majestic artistry only Mother displays to bring a soothing to your soul and a sense of awe into your heart.
The next two weeks or so will probably find me running so I can show you how Western New York is transformed this time of the year. Let us all hope that the overall muted colors I’ve seen thus far with the exception of a bright spot here and there, will change as time moves forward. If there is color to be found, I’ll find it.

Beautiful pics Amy. I got a few from a friend near Toronto today and they were amazing.
I was there last year at this very time and it feels like another life time 😇
We are having off season rains here. Maybe extended monsoon 🌧😊

Thank you, Ashok. So happy you enjoyed the colors presented here today. Know what you mean about “another life time ago”. Think “high” thoughts and don’t let the raging storm bring you low. Stay dry. We don’t have monsoons here thank goodness!! Much love to you this day!! xo

Me too! We had VERY high winds here yesterday and I am much relieved to see many leaves still attached to trees. Sighing a huge sigh of relief …… Thank you for viewing the colors I showed here today! xo

Nature IS beautiful and photogenic, Sreejith. Mother’s artistry compares to none! Thank you so much for saying, “I feel, these sights are good enough to wash away all the negativity around.” This has been MY personal mission to “fight” the dark by insisting to focus on light and beauty and then sharing that here. I am SO grateful you clarified I am doing just that!! Bless you! May your Sunday be a beautiful one too!! xo

Haven’t seen you in a while! Thank you so much for stopping by today! OH talk about colors! Where I just came from I’m still floating! The beauty I saw! Stunning! Some of those pictures will be seen here this week. I LOVE this time of year yet in the mix feel sad for I know what is to come. I’m still attempting to fall in love with winter. (smile) Have a great day today! xo

Who wouldn’t love such a climate and the scenery that it brings along with it! If you can endure the cold, even the winter has a beauty. But most of the time after a few days we won’t be able to enjoy that beauty! I understand your point.

Still trying to fall in love with Winter. It’s the lack of color, too much white and too much cold that gets to me. Again this year I will make it my goal to love this season that yes can be beautiful too. Crossing fingers this year due to what I planned and executed, staying indoors more won’t bother me as much.

Yes, I think staying indoor will help you to look at the white snow in the comfort of your home and fall in love!

Just beautiful Amy. So reassuring to see the trees showing up with their seasonal changes. Dare I say ‘normal.’ Thank you for sharing these beautiful photos and I am certain you have, with these photos and essay, encouraged others to get outside and enjoy this gift of seasonal colors. All my best to you. Stay safe.

Thank you, JoHanna! Yes anything normal I’ll take thank you! The park I went today was packed, both parking lots full and cars parked on the grass. To my dismay I saw more masks at this park then ever before. It’s perplexing and dare I saw upsetting to see so many afraid to breathe clean fresh beautiful forest air. I don’t get it. We ALL need to be outside breathing and enjoying fresh air mask-free. These colors and the smell(!) of Autumn are intoxicating! I plan on getting as many colors as I can over the next 2 weeks or so. I’ve been out and about since March and have zero problems without wearing a mask outdoors. Plain and simple it is my choice and I just won’t miss out on fresh air. May you have a really great day! Again I thank you for enjoying the Gorgeous Colors Mother paints!! Sending you much love! xo

Dear Amy,
If there’s colour to be found?
Umm, I think you already found it, and if I know you in the least, I’m sure you will find much more.
Then, when the colour is gone, you will find something else. Ice crystals, lacy trees, mystic morns, white rabbits and a cacophony of Mother’s beauty.
LOVE the mouse story! I’m so happy 1 wee creature has a winter home. I would have let him have the home, too. There may be no picture of the mouse, but I see his wee little strength and spirit for life, therefore I see him/her.
The Falcon is a A+++ WOW – the rainbow (and a double one the post prior) – your neighbours passing – and how you tie it altogether.
As always your photos are visual poetry.
Thank you!

LOL, Resa!! Oh no compared to what I found today these pictures are nothing. And I’ve yet to hit the peak colors. Crossing all fingers and toes that I still can cross that I hit those sweet spots perfectly. This is getting exciting now!! Oh my friend, I was floating today!
Can’t help being who I am with a soft heart and all. As long as there are no wires to chew why not house a mouse for winter in hubby’s grill?
The falcon is actually a Cooper’s hawk. I let hubby ID it and did not double check so I erred, or rather should I lay the blame on hubby? Teehee …. Those two days, beginning with the rainbow, my neighbor dying the next day and then the hawk, I will NEVER forget. Never! I’ve learned how to tie things together. A lot of the time it is hindsight however.
Thank you so much for visiting, Resa. Every visit from you is special. I did receive your response to my email and apologies for not getting back to you. Sending much love to you!! xo

You are very welcome, Mark. Wait until you see what I captured today. WOW!!! I was walking around with my head I swear bumping on the clouds …. just floating that high! The colors were magnificent! I was shocked to see how many people were in this park …. never have I seen it so crowded. I think it is the last rush to get to a park before the cold weather gets here or something. This search for colors is now getting exciting leaving my mouth dropping open in awe as I view what Mother is painting. Sending much love to you!! xo

Beautiful Amy! I love the fall colors. Hopefully this year will be more vibrant in color than last year! Looks like you are getting a jump on it and I am thankful for your photos! We’ve got bits of colors started here, but look a bit behind yours. Too much rain lately, ugh. Thanks again, have a great week! Much love, Donna

Thank you, Donna!! I’m hoping for you that your colors become vibrant! What I am beginning to see here is magnificent! Mother is putting on a display that is shouting VICTORY! Don’t get disappointed about the rain. We received a lot of rain, about 4 inches(!), but that is what is making the colors pop now. I will have a great week! Thank you! You do the same. Much love to you! xo
PS I told my sister on the phone today the mouse story which I can make so much more funnier narrating it, and OH how both of us howled until we had tears in our eyes. Laughter is such GOOD medicine!!! LOL

The one picture had the faint glow of the very rainbow I showed in another post. Good eye!! Have a great day today!! xo
