Against All Odds

    1. I know, right? I would swear that squirrel who was watching me garden, got pooped out from all I was doing and couldn’t stay awake. LOL You have a great day too, Shruti! My backyard is so filled with peace. I’m also seeing something never before seen. Orioles, who are very territorial, are now allowing another Oriole to feed with them on the same feeder at the same time. The birds are learning how to get along better …. another example we all can live by. BIG (((HUGS))) and much love to you and your Maa!! xoxoxoxoxo

  1. Oh Amy, what a glow. These pictures, and your garden are absolutely beautiful. Your immune system is firing well dear lady, as is that same health in your garden and the lovely critters within it 😀 ❤️ 🙏🏽 🦋

    1. So thrilled you felt the GLOW, Mark. We have so much LIFE here and between the blue sky and the sights and smells I am intoxicated. Oh yes I am! I am breathing the freshest air I’ve had since I’ve walked this earth. Drinking deeply of HEALTH while walking in love. There is this Thrasher with a mate in our yard who just is playing games with me, not allowing me to get a picture. I will win them over. I will! SMILE!! Have yourself a glorious glowing day, dear friend. We have another gorgeous sunny day and yes I will be enjoying it as much as possible. Oh for the JOY!!! Much love to you! xo

    1. You are very welcome, Lisa. Yes isn’t that squirrel just SO cute and wring your heart? He grabbed mine … I watched him for a long time before I decided to take his picture. We do have the power and strength within all of us in which to guide us, but most people have not learned how to listen to that small voice. May you have a great weekend!! Much love to you! xo

    1. Thank you, Gabriela! So many of us are dealing with grief and anger and depression over something that none of us would ever have said could or would happen. It is vitally important for our wellbeing on all levels to keep those happy hormones plentiful. I do my best to do just that in both my private life and here.
Bless you from the bottom of my heart for saying, “Beauty, strength, and kindness are your names.” You’ve touched me in a place so deep there is no name for it. Sending you so much love and big hugs!! May your weekend be sunny, bright and light in every way possible! xoxoxoxo

    1. So many are in need of healing, healing that will be a long process. So many still are reeling unable to fully grasp the horrors we have been living through. I do my very best to continue to live in a world of beauty, peace, and love as well as bringing that world here to my blog. Bless you for your comment. May you continue to heal and may your heart know peace today. Much love to you! xo

      1. I’ve had many years of practicing a state of peace even while walking through hell. I’ve learned that to not be in peace within my heart is what I classify as hell. Yes we all have our own demons to quiet, this too I know. If I helped in any way to assist YOU to calm yours, then my mission is complete. Tally ho! (smile) Thank you again for leaving such a magnificent comment that encourages me. Bless you!! xo

      2. Right at this moment, we all need our scars to heal, the scars which are always left unseen; when one ponders over it and tries to find his/her inner self, and gets lost, complimentary and inspirational words can actually make one’s life better.

  5. Such beauty and vivid colors!! The blue sky is breathtakingly blue!! The flowers are popping and the squirrel is adorable – don’t think I’ve ever seen a squirrel sleeping!! I think every year now, it’s those blue flowers of yours are my favorite – I think it’s the color, and the white with burgundy middles – beautiful. Mother is showing off her beauty to be sure!! We will prevail – no matter what as long as we stay in our hearts and see the beauty that Mother is proudly displaying!! We need to reach in and find our own beauty – thank you Mother!! Great post Amy!! Much love, Donna

    1. Hi, Donna! I’m thrilled you saw this post that attests that life does go on and that our spirits even challenged will survive. That squirrel I watched for a long time and finally decided to take a picture. I think I wore him out with all my gardening. LOL
Those blue flowers are extremely tiny and every year I attempt to get them in focus perfectly. The wind is my greatest contender!
Yes we do need to reach in and find our own beauty, now more then ever. If anything has been learned by this passage of time, it is how to go within in order to listen to our guidance. I’m so grateful that you stopped by again, Donna, to witness the world that stands around me. Much love to you!! Have a great weekend!! xo

My head is still reeling and my heart weeps for what this has done to the world at large. I’m so happy my words spoke to you. Bless you for telling me.
