    1. Now a comment like this is a high quality one, IMO. Thank you, Jude, for not only stopping by but letting me, even though you are not a flower guy, you really enjoyed those purples and yellows. Have a great day!! xo

      1. Jude! Bless you! My pictures contain “emotion” and that is what I believe make my pictures unique. These especially contain a lot of emotion. I am thrilled by your reaction, fyi. (smile)

    1. My crocuses are positively glowing, Mark. I believe I say that every year but that truth holds true this year as well. To see color like this after tans and browns and yuck makes my heart sing!! Have a great evening!! xo

  1. Stunning Amy.. I was also out with my camera yesterday taking pictures of my crocus in bloom not as spectacular as yours… But I love it when the sun shines on them and they open up fully…
We all could do with some Sun… And its wonderful to see the Bee out early, showing temps are rising..
    Love and Hugs my friend…
    Take care of yourself… ❤ 🌷🌱💚

    1. Have you ever smelled Crocuses, Sue? Their scent is very very sweet and of course intoxicating! Amazing how bees are already out and about as well! I agree we all could do with [more] Sun! It has been such a grey and dreary Winter.
I’m doing as well as possible. One of our [sick] cats is showing signs of this is the end. I’ve got her eating baked chicken and rice (hand-fed) in an attempt to get something to stay in her tummy so that the pain of emptiness is gone. I knew this was coming. Believe me, it never gets easy! I have to decide when it is best to speak to the in-home Vet we have. *deep breath*
      Much love to you!! xoxoxo

    1. Thank you, Andrew! I was SO determined to capture that bee that to be honest was not still for two seconds. I must still have pretty fast reflexes. That shot was not taken on burst but only one shot mode. How I did it, I couldn’t’ tell you. I suppose I have good coordination hand-eye reflexes. Hope you had a great day today!! xo

    1. Wait until you see how they spread each oncoming year, Erika. For some odd reason, my purples are crazy all over the gardens this year. Babies had babies or so it would seem. I can’t wait until the sun comes out again so that I can just stare and stare. As it is, all closed stannding like sentinels as they were today and even in that state, they got me staring. I’m so happy for you that you’re experiencing Crocuses. Kneel down and put your nose to them. You will not believe how sweet they smell!! (((HUGS)))! xo

    1. Thank you SO much, Eliza! And yes a BEE! Can you believe it? I was so excited when I saw not only this guy but a few others I became so determined to capture one. I had a heck of a time doing so …. this guy was not still for a second. I had to have a fast shutter finger! SO happy you enjoyed! I put in an organic fertilizer last Fall and the difference already I am seeing in my gardens is from night to day! I cannot believe, for one, how my crocuses multiplied and how tall they are compared to past years! Wow! xo

    1. Thank you SO much, Kamal! Spring this year is very early. I just checked to see what was going on last year. To my surprise Spring is at least 3 weeks earlier this year than last year. Have a great day! xo

  3. Beautiful colors and the clarity is exceptional. This may sound weird – but I can tell they’re real! They are so alive and new and bursting with color. You are magic with your lens Amy!! The honey bee is the coolest – I love him, and all his little spec ks of pollen – great picture! Thanks for sharing these lovely images of Spring!! Much love, Donna

    1. Thank you, Donna! LOL Of course they are real. Would I have plastic flowers in MY gardens. Teehee …. Thank YOU for the laugh! I really needed one today. Stress has been too high. Yeah that honey bee was a bonus! You are so very welcome for the share. I could hardly wait to get here to show them. Their colors just glow!! Today is the start of me opening my gardens, at least one month early. Motorcycles are even going down our street. March? Pinch me! Much love to you! xo

    1. Jude, I believe if you right click on my images, it will copy. This is why I have a watermark on them. You do have my permission to use any to write haikus, as long as you give me the credit. I would be honored. Thank you! xo

      1. Yeah I’ll definitely give you the credit due, will get a good time outdoors and compose one for each as I said and give you the credit, might even pass as a collaboration post on my blog, what do you say?

      2. Not sure what you mean about collaboration, Jude. If you mean you would like my creative input, I’ll have to lovingly decline. Between my blog and my life, I honestly don’t have the time. I thank you, however, for the invite. (smile) xo

    1. There is much good in this world, Brad. We have choices how we look. It may be getting more difficult to focus on the beauty and good in this world, but darn it, we still can IF we so do choose. Thank you for commenting!! xo

    1. Thank you, Zia! Yes that bee made me happy too! I spoke to my brother the other day who has bees and he tells me this year the number of bees compared to the last few years is sky high. He and a friend had to divide the bee house up to make a second one. YAY! Bees are coming back! xo
