  1. Very nice photos Amy. You write about a topic that I do not know.
Thanks to climate change, my thermometer today shows 16 ° ice and snow, a relic from times gone by, sad but true.
    Greetings Werner

    1. Our weather as well has been extremely odd this year, Werner. To have no snow on the ground at this time of year is something I don’t think I’ve ever seen. This weekend though it is supposed to snow so perhaps I will be able to photograph some beautiful snowscapes. We’ll see. Have a great day!! xo

    1. Happy Wednesday to you, Irene! So happy you saw this ice. I was hypnotized that day by this ice. I stared and I stared, just taken away until a section really called out to me for my camera to frame. Much love to you this day!! xo

    1. Mystical waters as I played with it had me heart and soul, VK. The ice overall just tugged at me and had me standing for a long time on the shore just staring.
Getting colder here too. As of today I’m taking care of the horse next door as our neighbors go to Florida for a week. Hope to get some pretty unique photographs of me mucking out the stall, feeding Karma (the name of the horse now), and while she is rolling around in the mud. Perhaps some pictures of me brushing the mud from off of her. I’ll need Hubby to help me with this project. I hope he will agree.
      Much love to you!! xo

    1. Thank you, Jude! Your exuberant comment puts a huge smile on my face. It feels so good to be kid-like again, playing and titling each frame of ice. I’m thrilled you enjoyed this!! Happy Wednesday to you!! xo

    1. Ali, SO glad you came by to see my ice pictures. I couldn’t agree more with you about stopping to notice the beauty in the world. I must admit when I’m busy my focus is not on Mother. I wish things were different. But when I’m out and about believe you me, my complete attention is exactly in Wonder World. I’m hoping my effortless slide lands me in my weekend too. Much love to you!! xo

    1. Yup, I agree. I am looking out my window right now and it is snowing, really coming down. And sure if I don’t have the horse next door’s pasture door open. I have to go back over (4th time today!) to close up. *sigh* Can’t seem to win today! I’m taking care of Karma until our neighbors return home from Florida next week. Big job, big responsibility.
Hope you get more rain ….. Much love to you! xo

    1. Oh my goodness, Eliza! You win! I’ve been wracking my brain all day today knowing there was a certain name for the bacteria I saw under a microscope. If I remember correctly, they have a negative charge and they cause some pretty nasty diseases. Thank you so much for refreshing my memory!!

    1. Holy moly, the compliments I’ve received of late are just blowing me away! How can I thank you for appreciating what I love to share? Bless you for such a high compliment! I am indeed honored. When there is love involved, anything is possible. I’ve steadily improved with my camera skills over the past 25 years and today there are times I myself look at my images, and such a sense of awe comes over me. Who is this person who can bring such beauty into this world? Me? Wow! Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Cher! xo

    1. SO happy you enjoyed these images of ice, Donna. That mystical one caught my breath believe me! I really took my time with the original composition and the way I cropped and edited these images. I’m astonished by what was created. I am sliding into a good weekend. We had a couple of pretty stressful days with our cats but now it’s smooth sailing. Much love to you! xo

  4. Just beautiful Amy, Frozen Reflections I particularly like. But all show the magic which is held within water.
May the rest of your week also hold many more magical moments Amy.
Much love, and thank you for sharing Mother Gaia through you eyes 💖🤗❄️💖

  5. Wonderful photos! I love the reflections on the ice. Until I saw these pictures, I had never really thought about how there can reflections on ice similar to the reflections in water.
