Fizzle. Fazzle. Peter out. The big bad snow storm never happened. Warnings were all over the place …. beware! This is a BIG one. I saw some flakes, and kept saying, “Is that all?” So those really cool snow storm pictures I told you I would be taking, are non-existent.
Thank you weather forecasters for another brilliant failure.
I’m getting saturated by Christmas songs. It’s gotten to the point where my brain gets stuck on one Christmas carol, and I’m hearing it in my head all day long. Is anyone else on the same page as me? Don’t get me wrong. I love Christmas songs but hearing them over and over again gets a bit much.
Have you listened to the words to “Rudolf the Red-Nose Reindeer”? If you haven’t listen closely next time. When I realized the song is about conditional love and acceptance, how other reindeer called Rudolf names and wouldn’t let him play games all because he was different, and then things changed when Santa made him the leader, well! What is that song teaching children?
One other item. I called Canon because the special that ran until Jan. 4th, the same special ad I bought with my new camera, I discovered that $500 more instant savings had been added to the exact ad! I almost fell off my chair when I saw that! So, I called Canon to insist in a nice way I too should have that deal seeing I just bought my camera December 1st. I was granted another $500 in savings. Total savings come to a whopping $1,100 off listed price. Geronomo!
I am blessed!
Three nights and two mornings ago, I took some pictures I think might interest you. No, they are not of what I promised you, yet I believe I can keep your attention for a few moments. At least I will try. Please enjoy!
Evidence as if a big bad storm was here. This image of a Red Tail Hawk in the big tree far across the street was taken by me from our front porch. This image is very close cropped, taken from a very long distance, and hence blurry.
Night photography. So cool!
Fiddling around. This is actually part of our entertainment center.
Our gentle giant Charlie laying with his red play string and bunny.
The instigator of the house, Rusty. Don’t let those big innocent eyes fool you! He’s one of the guys who was in on Daddy’s mouse surprise.
One of three of our girls who don’t feel well. Sweet sweet Jersey who loves to listen to Daddy play guitar.
Cooka Mama aka Cookie, another one of our girls who isn’t well. The dark spots in her eyes tell the story. My shutter speed wasn’t fast enough … picture blurred but ….. it’s evident how gorgeous she is! According to one Vet, she shouldn’t even be alive. She still is catching (toy) mousies to this day! See what love and good care can do?
I found an ice cat laying on an Evergreen tree.
Photoshop and Topaz Studio art. Simply gorgeous!
