  1. The second photo is brilliant. Fascinating colors. All these beautiful sceneries give you strength and hope, don’t they? It has rejuvenated me for now. Almost Saturday here:) Wishing you a very happy weekend. xo

    1. I agree with you with the second photo. The light was perfect. The angle I took this image at was perfect. The colors were perfect. The “feeling” of ecstasy this Moment evoked within me, believe me, was powerful!! Wishing you as well a wonderful weekend!! xo

  2. Glad all is well AR…Sounds like for now life is running through you instead of around you! Enjoy! Most of our leaves have gone by now….Extremely short and less vibrant fall this year, but still my favorite time of the year. It’s like magic when everything goes from green to reds, yellows and oranges. The wow factor! Have a great weekend. Bet you’ll spend time with Goldie….Hugs..VK ❤

    1. Pure happiness is bubbling through, VK. I’ve had my nose in some books and they are helping me immensely to just flow and be aware of ego with all its tricks. as with you, I’m undoing habits that no longer serve a Higher Purpose in me. Something inside has broken free. Of course too, all my babies are doing well at the moment which makes this Mother’s heart actually sing! I hope to see the wow factor today at a certain park at higher elevations. I’m crossing my fingers I haven’t waited too long. You have a great weekend too!! Be blessed!! Yes, it is a given I will be spending time with Bellissa (a name I call Goldie). She truly has stolen my heart!! Much love to you! xo

      1. Too bad you couldn’t have her for your own! Maybe? Hope you are able to still get colors up at higher elevation. You have a lot of red this year which is interesting as we got very little. So glad things are humming along for you. Enjoy every moment. And the babies are well for now too! Can’t ask for more than that I guess 🙂 Have a great weekend.Hugs and love..VK ❤

      2. VK, there is no way I could take care of a horse. I got a good taste of what it is like to do so. My neighbor, God bless her, has been 10 feet under as life suddenly threw her hard curve balls. So being a good friend and neighbor when I saw her struggling, I mucked out the stall for her on Sunday and Monday. It was the hardest most disgusting work I think I have ever done and there is no way I would do that on a daily basis. I actually strained a groin muscle (ouch!) in tossing the heavy shovel full of urine soaked hay up into the shit slinger, and yes that is what it is really called. I love this horse but I could not own her. If I were 30 years younger or even younger then that, yes. Today however is another story. I do not know how this woman is keeping up, to tell you the truth. She is amazing!
Just got back from the park I had wanted to go to. I missed the peak colors, but I did get some beautiful images. Until my legs and lower back start behaving again, I will not be able to trek in this park. I was never so glad to get back to my car. This is not an easy park to walk in as it has massive hills. Hugs and much love to you!!! xo

      3. Come to think of it, when heaven forbid the babies are gone I think it would be a great time for Amy to be free to come and go or do nothing if so desired. You can be like the grandparent who gets the child for the day but then the child goes back to mom and dad and the grandparent gets to enjoy their freedom again. Have fun grandma playing with Goldie…..VK ❤

      4. Couldn’t agree with you more, VK! My one neighbor laughs at me when I tell her no more cats …. I haver other aspects of my life I wish to explore. I’m holding true to that. Oh yes, I will miss the presence of cats in my life (tears stinging honestly!) but, I just don’t have it to give anymore when they get sick etc. Too many losses already scar my heart. I must involve myself in something that involves fun and joy and creativity. Yup …. camera! (smile)

  3. Great to see such a positive and emotional post, dear Amy 😀
Your photos are just amazing, so vibrant in the colors…
I’m happy to read, how far you are now in your life. Just enjoy, dear friend.
    Much love to you ❤

    1. Your comment meant a lot to me, Irene. When one gets to be our age, one realizes how fast time goes and if we do not enjoy life now, it will end up passing us by. This “happiness” I’m experiencing goes beyond anything I have ever witnessed in my own life. I am in awe and so so very grateful!! Much love to you! May your weekend be filled with golden moments of silence in which you feel the Love of All. (((HUGS)))!! xo

    1. Gee, Scott, I think ya best find that heart chakra. It does come in handy now and again. I am finding the happiness I “deserve”. I think it’s a combination of what I am eating and taking to get this body to run “clean”, the musical meditations I’ve been doing, the PT/alternative therapies, and how I am deliberately slowing down to enjoy life. Ya can’t find “happy” rushing around like a cat chasing its tail. (smile) I do that too much as it is.

  4. So so happy to know your heart is aglow. I can feel it in your words…effervescent. It’s a wonderful feeling, isn’t it? Bask in the shimmer, dear. You deserve it🦋💕

    1. Thank you, Eliza, about my images. I haven’t been out as much as my norm, but I’m truly satisfied with those pictures I have gotten. I’m enjoying every moment of this phase of my life. I am just so grateful!! Hope your weekend is a beautiful one! xo

      1. Thanks, honey. Yes, an outstanding weekend. It is Labour weekend here in NZ, so we have a holiday on Monday. What is best is that this weekend usually marks the start of the good weather. So the sun is out, not a cloud in the sky, birds singing, and that feeling that winter is behind us and summer is on the way… :o) I hope you are keeping well xx

  5. The fall colors this year are breathtaking!! Your photo is so clear and vibrant! Sometimes good to slow down, breath and take in rather than put out. Enjoy your open-heartedness and resting time!! Have a great weekend! Pouring down here for 2 days now . . .soggy out there. Much love! Donna

    1. I agree about the colors, Donna, except there have been pockets of color this year …. not all fully turning at once. One park past peak, another at its peak now, and our trees just turning yellow with the majority of others in the area. Very strange Fall this year but downright gorgeous! Your rain seems to have come our way …. forecast says rain. Thank you, Donna, for that. (smile) xo

    1. I agree, YC, that where I have been and what I have seen this year has been truly magical. The colors have been otherworldly. They unfortunately are fast going down now. Hope you are having a great weekend! xo

  6. First… Amy, you look marvellous! You are in tip top shape!
Not a wonder with all that yard work you do. I’m very impressed.
Also, I see that you are treating yourself well. It’s quite the rip off when the estrogen goes away.
Now, your photographs are totally splendid! Does nature get more beautiful, or is it your ability to capture it? New camera aside, you are amazing! Thank you for everything! (How are the kitties?)

    1. Aw, Resa, bless you for saying I am in tip top shape. Not easy to get there and not easy to stay there. I agree with you regarding the estrogen …. ya gotta experience it to believe it. Crazy stuff! Autumn this year has been weird …. glorious pockets of colors here and there, colors so bright that they glowed. My next post will show Chestnut Ridge Park past its peak colors but boy oh boy still incredible to experience! I’ve had my “new” camera since Spring …. just the landscape shots are new with it. I had been using it only for wildlife. Kitties …. always something. There are days I could just put my head down and cry ….. regardless of what I do some just remain ill. They are up in age those I speak of, so I know what is coming, and Resa, it is breaking my heart already. These cats are one of the reasons why I’ve slowed down …. I’m spending more time with them while I can. Much love to you!! xo

      2. I think the colors were exceptional this year, BrittnyLee. And boy does it make my day to hear someone is noticing! Good for you!! So many run around busy with life, not even noticing what is right in front of them.

    1. Wisdom here! Without balance we tend to be chasing our tails. I’ve chased the colors past years but not so this year. I’ve listened to my body …. pain is just not worth the outcome of overdoing.

  8. I never tire of seeing the beauty of autumn. IOt truly is one of the stunning treasures of our lives. Happiness is a choice we must make everyday. No matter how much rain the storm may drop on us.
    Inspiring post. Happy Monday.

  9. I can FEEL the serenity coming through this post, AmyRose!! Fall just might be my favorite time of year, but I agree — sometimes, we need to stop documenting and just experience it!

    1. Bless you for telling me what you did, Debbie. You’ve made me so happy that you actually felt serenity and that in turn has a big smile on my face. I’ve been doing a lot more looking this year compared to other years and I’m glad I did. I soaked up so much glory and divinity in doing so. Much love to you!! xo

    1. Slowing down and enjoying the Moment …. ahhhhhh ….. To make my point, this is my third day I am answering comments from my last post (which you missed, fyi, LOL) Plus I have a new friend, a horse next door to us, who is out of her element and who I’ve fallen in love with. She whispers whinnies in my ear as she nuzzles my hair. She is so grateful for my company. I will be creating a post about this horse but not right now. I’m waiting for the right moment and for someone who can be “invisible” with my camera to record the amazing relationship this horse and I have. You stay Blessed as well, dear friend. Much love! xo

    1. Getting to the gym some days is a super human effort when all I want to do is curl up and sleep. But!! Afterwards I feel energized! The colors of Fall were so vibrant this year, Julie. Here and gone way too fast though. I’m enjoying the color while I can …. our Winters are so darn long here! And yes I am singing! (smile) Much love to you! xo
