With camera in hand, I went to Reintstein Park. To my astounded eyes, the colors that are showing now, are some of the brightest I think I’ve ever seen! I think from all the rain we had this year, this year’s Exhibition of Color is going to be phenomenal. As it is, what I found had me wowing out loud. My voice had to be heard and heard it was. A woman actually heard me wowing and came to my side, wowing right along with me.
The Presence of the Divine radiating from Mother’s Tapestry was so strong that day, I felt like falling to my knees. Sore though they were from all that gardening, I don’t think I would have been able to do so. However, my wow’s and saucered eyes filled with adoration for what was before me, more then made up for not falling to my knees.
My Journey began here minutes after I entered the park. My eye was caught in this dramatic outburst of color. Though it does not look it, there is quite a large distance between what is forefront and what is in back. I knew the image would come out looking like this while I carefully framed for the shot I was about to take. Magnificent!
This part of the trail leading to this building was closed while it is being renovated. This is the original house where the Reinstein family stayed when they came here for summer vacations. It is now mostly home to bats. Perhaps the repairs will allow the public to actually go inside to view this house. Now that would be cool!
You never know what you see when you look up! Overhead, a Canopy of Color!
I stood a long time wide eyed in wonder while on these two trails. The views, the colors were just breathtaking. I couldn’t get enough! I’m sighing as I write this!
This panorama I saw headed on my way back to my car. Due to my schedule that day, I had only a brief time. I had but one hour to dedicate to me. It was either one hour or nothing, and believe me, I used that hour wisely! This is another place I stood for a long time, just drinking in the glory set before me!
Unable to take one more moment of silence, my voice had to be heard and so I in my own way, applauded and wowed, telling Mother Her Tapestry was beyond perfection. Tears came to my eyes as I gawked. This is the Sacred Place when a woman came to my side sharing her reverence along with mine. She understood. She got it. The Presence of God was tangible!
When I turned looking to see what was behind me on the trail I was on, and saw this spectacular extravaganza of color galore, I just about dropped my camera. How can anything be more perfect then this? The painted sky, the infinite contrasts, the kaleidoscope of colors, the shapes, the water … the vista had my mouth wide open in awe awe awe. This is just the beginning of the Colors of Fall? We are in for quite the treat! Either that or the colors will burst quickly and fade just as fast. Oh please no!
This is another place my feet were rooted to the ground as my Spirit soared ever so high. I actually had to tone down the reds in this image. The colors yes were this bright, if not more so. Wow, just wow! Those reds glowed!
For reasons I cannot explain, while seeing this, I was reminded of Picasso. The splats of bright color through the darkened trees reminded me of his style of painting. Just glorious as I stood there again gaping, wishing I had more time that day to spend in this Paradise. But, the clock was ticking. I had to return home so that is what I did do. I had gone beyond my allotted time as is was.
In closing, I have proof that I, a mature woman of over 60, am accomplishing something so challenging, that most people just will not even attempt doing it. Stripped of estrogen, which if you don’t know creates the “sags”, I with the aid of diet and supplements combined with a lot of effort, am gaining muscle mass. You youngins, appreciate your body now. You have no idea how difficult it gets with age to keep a body in top shape.
I am a Miracle. If you fully knew the obstacles I have overcome, you would agree with me!
This post has been a part of Walktober 2019 over at Eliza’s blog. I’m also supposed to link this post to Breezes At Dawn whose brainchild Walktober 2019 is, so that is what I am doing. If any of you would like to join in the fun, you have until the 19th to show your own part of the world where Mother is displaying Her glorious Tapestry so unique Hers at this time of the year.
I also encourage all of you to experience the Colors up close and personal. Just don’t look at my pretty pictures. It is just not the same compared to standing before the Presence of Glory yourself. Don’t miss out. Life is just far too short to do so!

Your image was absolutely amazing Amy…the tree’s didn’t look too bad either lol 😀
You have looked after yourself dear lady, take a bow, that takes strength and a courage all its own 😀
And I do concur dear lady, Mother most certainly put on a tapestry like no other. And the photo’s are amazing. No wonder you just stopped and took it all in ❤️
Thank you for sharing her magic, nothing else but nature can display such beauty ❤️

As you know, Mark, as we age it really does become more difficult to not only get into shape but stay in shape. I’ve worked hard as well you can see and hope to inspire others to begin to take exercising seriously.
As for what Mother showed me that day, hubby just looked at my post and said he was stunned by the colors. I cannot explain it but at that park the colors were everywhere while outside of that park, most of the trees are still green or turning yellow. Magic? All I knew I wished OH how I wished I could have stayed there all day long. Since Monday when these pics were taken, we’ve had high winds and rains meaning those glorious colors that I documented most likely are gone. I plan on heading South in a few days where I hope to again catch those glorious colors.
You are so right. Nothing else like nature can display the beauty that I was able to capture. There is no greater artist then Mother Herself. xo

Ahhhh, you get it, Colleen. The “energy” issue is something else I contend with like you. What I have done and am doing, anyone younger then I or who hasn’t gone through Menopause yet, will not understand. Thank you for telling me I inspire you. I don’t want to loose what I attained and that is what keeps me going! Much love to you this day, dear friend!! xo

Thank you AmyRose. I will struggle with this energy one for awhile. Congratulations because you look amazing. And taking steps to maintain that is inspiring.

My intention was to inspire those who saw my picture. I’ve revealed a little bit of my challenges but not all. At times I look in the mirror and just shake my head. I really am incredible what I do accomplish. Been saying for years …. mind over matter. And I’m proving it! xo

It appears that “your” park has brighter trees than “my” park, but I think mine is catching up. Beautiful photos, as usual, Amy. And you look absolutely stunning – kudos!

CM, I was not prepared for those colors because most of our trees are still green. Spotty yellows and now oranges but what I saw in that park blew me away. Even hubby when he read my post, said he could not believe I was “just around the corner”. Those colors were blinding, just glowing! You have no idea how I wished I could have stayed all that day long!
And as for me ….. THANK YOU! You know what it takes to get into shape like that. OH how I have worked for it! And because of age, I have to work 3-4 times harder then I would have if I was in my 20’s or 30’s to stay in shape. Age is so unfair at times! I really am proud of what I have accomplished, believe me!! xo

WOW, GORGEOUS, Amy! Everywhere you pointed your camera was a thrilling scene. My favorite was the one with the wispy clouds above the pond.
Glad you joined us for Walktober, its a fun meme to see other places at this glorious time of year.

Funny thing was, Eliza, the colors seemed to be based only in that park for outside of that park most trees still today are green. It was as though I walked into Wonder Land. I had no idea the colors would be that bright. I was stunned! My favorite image was the one you liked the most! I stood there like I said almost dropping my camera ….. the emotions that tumbled about inside me …… Ecstasy! I’m glad I joined in for Walktober. I usually don’t do things like this but, it was just so perfect for me. Hope you had a great day today!! xo

Yes, Emma, YES!! I literally walked into heaven that day! That park had colors that were no where else here (yet) so I was not expecting this exceptional display. The very Presence of God just about stopped my breath at times. Completely phenomenal! I will not forget that day for a LONG time!
And me, I admit I am a Miracle. For without God I couldn’t be doing this. I look at me sometimes and shake my head in wonder. Wow! Me? Yes, me! Thank YOU so much for what you said in your comment. It meant the world to me. You of all people know, really know, what it takes to not only get into shape like I am today, but stay that way too! Much Love and BIG (((HUGS))) xo

Such beautiful colours, especially the reds ! Here in England, many trees still show little or no sign of autumn, including the ash, silver birch and larch in our garden, which are all a pretty tired and faded green. Perhaps we’re going to have an amazing overnight transformation!

Aw, thank you, Donna! And!! It thrills me to hear that you are making an effort to get out every day! You go!! You are doing better then me. Those gardens kicked my you know what. I plan on getting back to walking almost every day starting this weekend. I had to recoup.
As for me getting into shape …. I’m still doing it. I was kind of sorta working out with someone I know today …. we go back to the good old days when we were in our 20’s working out in a hole in the wall gym. He was a powerlifter back then while I was seriously into body building. Presently I am working out with heavier weights then he is and I couldn’t help myself today by teasing him saying “Oh I forgot to put the rack back on your baby weights.” He laughed and I did too! He cannot lift heavy due to so many injuries. There is a high price one pays when you lift extremely heavy weights as he used to. He’s thinner then I am. I still can’t relate his face today to what he was back then. It’s just that radical. Anyways ….. sorry about rambling. I love bumping into people who I knew back when ….. LOL Much love to you! xo

Such a brilliant display of nature’s transforming glory. You are absolutely right. Photos don’t do it justice. One has to stand in its presence and absorb the wonder into one’s soul. Our reds are mostly gone, but the yellows are still brilliant. Love your post, Amy. ❤

Thank YOU, Olga! Photos no do not do it justice, I agree, but I try darn hard to get as close to possible to it. The “feeling” of standing in the Presence of all that color …. I don’t know about you but I am transported into another world completely. I SO agree about what you said …. standing there and absorbing the wonder into your soul. You get it! (((HUGS)))!!! Our reds are popping …. yet many are down already. I’m now trying to get to a certain park to hit its peak. When I do, those pictures will be jaw dropping, I assure you! I’ve been having a treat, Miriam. Fall this year has been strange in that, pockets of brilliant color popping up here and there while other areas the trees are still green or turning yellow. One park I caught at its peak. A week later, went to another park and the colors (peak) were here and gone. A third park, with another week past, I found glorious peak colors. And still many trees are green. Go figure. All in all, it’s been an adventure listening to my “guidance” as to where to go and when and then SEE what Mother had in store for me. I didn’t chase the colors as much this year as I usually do, but those I did capture, well worth it! Big hugs and love from across the waters …. xo
