  1. Your image was absolutely amazing Amy…the tree’s didn’t look too bad either lol 😀
You have looked after yourself dear lady, take a bow, that takes strength and a courage all its own 😀
And I do concur dear lady, Mother most certainly put on a tapestry like no other. And the photo’s are amazing. No wonder you just stopped and took it all in ❤️
Thank you for sharing her magic, nothing else but nature can display such beauty ❤️

    1. As you know, Mark, as we age it really does become more difficult to not only get into shape but stay in shape. I’ve worked hard as well you can see and hope to inspire others to begin to take exercising seriously.
As for what Mother showed me that day, hubby just looked at my post and said he was stunned by the colors. I cannot explain it but at that park the colors were everywhere while outside of that park, most of the trees are still green or turning yellow. Magic? All I knew I wished OH how I wished I could have stayed there all day long. Since Monday when these pics were taken, we’ve had high winds and rains meaning those glorious colors that I documented most likely are gone. I plan on heading South in a few days where I hope to again catch those glorious colors.
You are so right. Nothing else like nature can display the beauty that I was able to capture. There is no greater artist then Mother Herself. xo

    1. Ahhhh, you get it, Colleen. The “energy” issue is something else I contend with like you. What I have done and am doing, anyone younger then I or who hasn’t gone through Menopause yet, will not understand. Thank you for telling me I inspire you. I don’t want to loose what I attained and that is what keeps me going! Much love to you this day, dear friend!! xo

      1. My intention was to inspire those who saw my picture. I’ve revealed a little bit of my challenges but not all. At times I look in the mirror and just shake my head. I really am incredible what I do accomplish. Been saying for years …. mind over matter. And I’m proving it! xo

    1. CM, I was not prepared for those colors because most of our trees are still green. Spotty yellows and now oranges but what I saw in that park blew me away. Even hubby when he read my post, said he could not believe I was “just around the corner”. Those colors were blinding, just glowing! You have no idea how I wished I could have stayed all that day long!
And as for me ….. THANK YOU! You know what it takes to get into shape like that. OH how I have worked for it! And because of age, I have to work 3-4 times harder then I would have if I was in my 20’s or 30’s to stay in shape. Age is so unfair at times! I really am proud of what I have accomplished, believe me!! xo

  2. WOW, GORGEOUS, Amy! Everywhere you pointed your camera was a thrilling scene. My favorite was the one with the wispy clouds above the pond.
Glad you joined us for Walktober, its a fun meme to see other places at this glorious time of year.

    1. Funny thing was, Eliza, the colors seemed to be based only in that park for outside of that park most trees still today are green. It was as though I walked into Wonder Land. I had no idea the colors would be that bright. I was stunned! My favorite image was the one you liked the most! I stood there like I said almost dropping my camera ….. the emotions that tumbled about inside me …… Ecstasy! I’m glad I joined in for Walktober. I usually don’t do things like this but, it was just so perfect for me. Hope you had a great day today!! xo

    1. Yes, Emma, YES!! I literally walked into heaven that day! That park had colors that were no where else here (yet) so I was not expecting this exceptional display. The very Presence of God just about stopped my breath at times. Completely phenomenal! I will not forget that day for a LONG time!
And me, I admit I am a Miracle. For without God I couldn’t be doing this. I look at me sometimes and shake my head in wonder. Wow! Me? Yes, me! Thank YOU so much for what you said in your comment. It meant the world to me. You of all people know, really know, what it takes to not only get into shape like I am today, but stay that way too! Much Love and BIG (((HUGS))) xo

  4. I have also noticed how the colors absolutely glow this year, but I haven’t been able to capture it with my camera. I’m just grateful to see it. You look fabulous, Amy. I remember your posts about your health challenges. What an inspiration you are, beautiful lady. ❤️🌹🤗

And thank you, Julie, for the compliment on how I look. Now to keep up with it. LOL I just won’t quit! There are times I would like to …. but I know what the outcome of that would be. NO! Bless you from the bottom of my heart!! (((HUGS)))!!! xo

    1. Soooooo glad you enjoyed, Irene! Again this coming weekend the weather is clearing and warming up a little, perfect for me to again find magic. I’ve got my two camera bodies outfitted with the two lenses I want so, here’s to capturing more Beauty!
Yes I am working hard to stay in shape. I’ve had a touch of “something” this week that involved my stomach so my last two workouts were not completed …. I listened to my body when it said enough. So much good came out of this week even if my stomach was iffy. May your weekend be a great one!! Much love to you! xo

  5. Such beautiful colours, especially the reds ! Here in England, many trees still show little or no sign of autumn, including the ash, silver birch and larch in our garden, which are all a pretty tired and faded green. Perhaps we’re going to have an amazing overnight transformation!

  6. Incredible colors and vistas!! I love Fall – it’s my favorite! Your photos are stunning!! The blue sky, white clouds and amazing colors from trees – lovely contrasts! Keep up the good work Amy – it’s paying off on all fronts!! Have a lovely weekend and hopefully you can find more time to be out in the colors. I’m making an effort to get out every day!! Much love, Donna

    1. Aw, thank you, Donna! And!! It thrills me to hear that you are making an effort to get out every day! You go!! You are doing better then me. Those gardens kicked my you know what. I plan on getting back to walking almost every day starting this weekend. I had to recoup.
As for me getting into shape …. I’m still doing it. I was kind of sorta working out with someone I know today …. we go back to the good old days when we were in our 20’s working out in a hole in the wall gym. He was a powerlifter back then while I was seriously into body building. Presently I am working out with heavier weights then he is and I couldn’t help myself today by teasing him saying “Oh I forgot to put the rack back on your baby weights.” He laughed and I did too! He cannot lift heavy due to so many injuries. There is a high price one pays when you lift extremely heavy weights as he used to. He’s thinner then I am. I still can’t relate his face today to what he was back then. It’s just that radical. Anyways ….. sorry about rambling. I love bumping into people who I knew back when ….. LOL Much love to you! xo

    1. Zia, I’m thrilled you stopped by to see these amazing Masterpieces Mother allowed me to capture. And as for me …. what you see entails a lot of work which I have every intention to keep up. Just because I am a “mature” woman does not mean I must quit. I don’t believe in quitting. (smile) Thank YOU for your gloriously kind and encouraging words!!! Bless you! xo

  8. Great Pics AR…..Bet it was a glorious day in the woods! We had a few good days there…That Nor Easter that flew in the other day had such strong winds most of the leaves have been stripped off so a quickie fall for me 😦 Oh well, everything else in the world is kind of wacko so why not the weather 🙂 Glad you got your pics while the getting was good my friend. Hope all is well there. Difficult times right now but as always happens, thankfully, there is always another day to embark upon and improve upon tomorrow! Be well..Hugs…VK ❤

  9. Such a brilliant display of nature’s transforming glory. You are absolutely right. Photos don’t do it justice. One has to stand in its presence and absorb the wonder into one’s soul. Our reds are mostly gone, but the yellows are still brilliant. Love your post, Amy. ❤

    1. Thank YOU, Olga! Photos no do not do it justice, I agree, but I try darn hard to get as close to possible to it. The “feeling” of standing in the Presence of all that color …. I don’t know about you but I am transported into another world completely. I SO agree about what you said …. standing there and absorbing the wonder into your soul. You get it! (((HUGS)))!!! Our reds are popping …. yet many are down already. I’m now trying to get to a certain park to hit its peak. When I do, those pictures will be jaw dropping, I assure you! May your Monday be blessed!! xo

      1. Frank, when I read your reply, I just about cried, I laughed so hard! Not only that, but another commenter who likes to browse his way amongst my comments, left a comment that he just about “nearly wetting his pants” laughing so hard! OH how I love a good sense of humor that produces a hearty laugh! Thank you for your gift of laughter, even if that meant I had to use my asthma inhaler. LOL

      2. The laughter I had between you and Frank’s comments, Mark, left me breathless. I really did have to use my asthma inhaler. Worth it though. Nothing like a good belly laugh. Fyi …. asthma is improving by the efforts I am manifesting. GRIN! xo

  11. What an absolute feast for all of the senses. Truly jaw dropping and awe inspiring scenes with those vivid colours straight out of a painters easel. Picasso indeed! This was so beautiful Amy. Thank you for sharing your fall beauty. You’re in for a treat this season. Enjoy it all. Big hugs and love from down under. xx ❤️💚

    1. I’ve been having a treat, Miriam. Fall this year has been strange in that, pockets of brilliant color popping up here and there while other areas the trees are still green or turning yellow. One park I caught at its peak. A week later, went to another park and the colors (peak) were here and gone. A third park, with another week past, I found glorious peak colors. And still many trees are green. Go figure. All in all, it’s been an adventure listening to my “guidance” as to where to go and when and then SEE what Mother had in store for me. I didn’t chase the colors as much this year as I usually do, but those I did capture, well worth it! Big hugs and love from across the waters …. xo

    1. Oh yes, Anthony, God certainly speaks through pictures and mine are no exception. I realize I have been given a great Gift which I give all the praise to Him who gave it to me. I think a bit differently which I am sharing with you …. I look at Nature as Mother’s handiwork as She Herself expresses the Great Artist God who flows through Her. Or something like that. (smile) Good to see you around! You’ve been missed. Much love to you! xo

    1. SO happy you enjoyed this post, dear friend. Our Fall this year was strange, with pockets of brilliant glowing colors here and there. I found myself on an adventure to find them. And yes I am in good shape and in the process of staying that way. That hard work is not going out the window if I have anything to do with it! (smile) Much love and many blessings to you, Sue! xo

  13. Lookin fit as a fiddle, Amy. Check out the bicep 🙂 It really does get harder, it gets hard just to MAINTAIN it, let alone keep it toned!
I LOVE the Canopy of Color! That’s a fantastic shot! I do spend a lot of time looking up into trees and clouds, especially when the skies are so incredibly blue!

    1. Yep. You got that right. Maintain is the word of the day! I’m up to 4 trying for 5 days per week at the gym without afterwards fading. Energy is another aspect of my life I am attempting to boost. Trying to get my camera time in and keep up with all else I do as well has me thinking …. really, Ame? You and who else is gonna do all this? ….. As with anything in time things will smooth out.
Joey, the bursts of glorious color I have found this year just took my breath away. It’s no longer looking bright anymore so I treasure what I did see and what I did capture. SO glad you liked the Canopy of Color. I agree. That was such a cool shot. LOL Thank you! xo
