Do We?

    1. I saw those sailboats and I yearned for one, Scott. There is a sailing school down that way and oh how I would love to learn how to sail. There was so much to see that I’m sure that I didn’t see even half of what all there is down there. That means of course, many happy returns. Have a great day! ☺️

  1. I believe that you were/are taking another step into the direction of your purpose and calling, and the full manifestation thereof. What I’m seeing and sensing is truly another dimension and diversity in ministry..

“There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. 5 There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. 6 And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all. 7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all……………….1 Corinthians 12:4-7

My goodness! I truly love Abba for this! As I looked at each picture and read the words which the Lord gave you, His message became clear. But not only that, I took a journey through each picture. And Amy, what the Lord’s revealing even as I type, is that He can and indeed will use this ministry, through photography to help His people. You never know how the Lord will use a picture as a bridge, helping people get over the troubled waters in their lives.

The pictures that Abba gives you, may in fact be reminders of His promises spoken to them, helping nudge them along His path. Wow! How amazing is that! Continue to have Your way in our lives Lord!!

    1. Anthony, all I know is that I am following my heart and that finally after at least 3 years of waiting, my husband is now coming with me to places I did not feel comfortable going alone to. In order to get to the lakefront one has to drive through the city of Buffalo. I do not like city driving and get very nervous at the “overload” of information and cars. Perhaps in time, after hubby and I go to this area a few times and I get used to the route, I’d feel more comfortable. It is absolutely breathtaking there!

As for what I am doing, again I am following my heart. The words that you read came very easily as I gazed at each image and so I wrote them. I am doing what I love to do and in so doing, pray that every individual who does stop by to view my posts, are touched by them.

Thank you for leaving the Scripture that you did. The words really touched me. Yes we all, when we know how to “listen” to that still small voice, do contribute to expand the Real World. I’m so happy you took your time to really absorb all that is within this post. I don’t know about you but I just stare at these images, just looking and looking with the hugeness of them all. May you have a really blessed day today! 🌟🌟🌟

    1. Dan, our waterfront has been so cleaned up but it is still a work in progress. There is construction all over the place and it is a PIA to even get to the Marina due to the construction. Beautiful condos, very expensive condos, are going up all over the place but right in view of them are these nasty abandoned warehouses. I know it takes time but right now it is a mish mosh of sorts. Now what Buffalo really needs is a gorgeous beach like Sherkston Beach in Canada. The waters in Lake Erie have really been cleaned up. Come on ….. let’s get a beach!!! So glad you stopped by to enjoy my images. Have a great day! ☺️

  2. Ah dear lady, the world we have been opened to is a magic indeed 😀
Great pic’s my friend, thank you for sharing 😀
P.S. You got in but 2 minutes later 2 people were blocked on my site. I thought all was going well when you liked and commented on the site…but alas, its back to the carrier pigeons 😀

    1. You are so welcome, Mark. I hope the magic rubs off on you in order to get that site of yours properly working. I left another comment from the READER. But, no go from your site. I cannot like or comment on your site itself. I mean really! What in the world???? 😒

    1. I agree, Donna! Our lakefront is gorgeous. The massive cleanup has been a work in progress and there is still so much more to do. I wish I had more time to really enjoy everything there is to do down that way. There is this sailing school, for example, that I would absolutely love to go to. Glad you stopped by to see this post. Thank you, dear friend. Much Love to you! 💜💜💜

  3. I love your question. And I love the thoughts it generates. How can we ever be sure that we really see the complete picture even when we consciously look at it? We will always see everything from our state of consciousness. But simply observing with an open mind and heart already lets us see so much more. Wonderful inspiration, Amy! And as always: Beautiful photos!💖

    1. Exactly, Erika. The more we know or the more we see, the more we realize there is so much we don’t know or see. Infinity …. There was just so much for me to see the day hubby and I went to the Marina that I know I have yet to see it all. We could have spent days there. So many happy returns we are planning …. Yes!! I love the water and so do wish someday I will be able to live by water. Bless you for stopping by to view my post. Much Love to you! 🌟🌟🌟

      1. I totally hear you, Amy! And it is amazing and exciting to realize how much there will always be to discover. I cannot understand anybody who is bored by life! I hope that your plans are coming true soon. I always dreamed of living by the water but meanwhile I learned to really treasure my area with the gorgeous mountain views. Anyway…. I have not given up my dream… lol!

      2. I am cherishing what I have now, dear friend. I’ve put my intent “out there” that my dream to live by water is known. And then I just continue with my life today with confidence I’ve been heard. 💝

  4. What a wonderful melody you created with your words/thoughts and photos. You did manage to capture all my attention and stopped in my tracks reflecting in your questions.
I think that it’s all about the journey. You see bits, pieces, parts, halves, and wit all within you create some sort of combination in s puzzle that just makes sense to yourself, no one else’s, at least that how I see it and feel it!
    Gorgeous post ❤️❤️

    1. Awwww, Sonia! What an absolutely perfect comment! Thank you! You are right. We only take what is for us and apply that to our lives. For this reason, we are all making our own worlds, hence the delightful diversity in this world.

I’m so happy you actually dove into this post and took your time to incorporate the “melody”. Thank you so much for sharing my JOY and my ever-curious mind. Much Love to you!! 💖💖💖

  5. Amazing beautiful photos, dear Amy 🙂
You are right, we don’t see much and don’t explore, whats possible to explore, when we look to see. We see something and by next visit, we see something else and new to us, which is wonderful, I think.
Much love to you and healthy for both of you to go out together in such a way ❤

    1. Awww, thank you, Irene! That’s one thing that makes life so enticing, don’t you think? It beckons us to come back to see more. That is how I feel every time I’m out in Nature. Told hubby the only way I can “see” is to meld into all that is around me, not just thrashing around deliberately scouting for things to shoot at. Much Love back at you and thank you for being happy about hubby and me. XOXO

  7. Just so beautifully written Amy, loved this line ” When we become aware of the grandiosity of life itself, and all that it holds, the feeling of awe and amazement that washes over us leaves us speechless at times.”—- Oh so agree with you there Amy..
It’s incredible the more you see and take in the incredible and amazing structure, complexity, and awe-inspiring beauty of nature, from the tiniest piece of lichen to the vast oceans and all its life,to the Magic of ‘mycelium’ ..
    Wonderful post Amy ❤

    1. Bless you, Sue! Thank you for taking your time here to read and view my post. I will be returning to our lakefront …. that water just pulls at me. I look forward in seeing some of what I missed the first time around. I’m so happy you enjoyed my experiences in this most beautiful place, plus the “words” that came to me ever so softly. 🦋🦋🦋

    1. Our lakefront in areas is so gorgeous, LeeAnn. Others no. Much more cleanup is needed. So many abandoned very ugly, eye sores of warehouses are still standing, marring the beautiful shores. What has been done thus far, I am seriously impressed over. I’m crossing fingers somewhere soon a beach will be put in. Problem being with that, however, is that the marina which you just saw, is right where Buffalo is so the possibility of people who would not respect the beach is there. On one hand there are million dollar condos, and right next to them are abandoned warehouses and where the poorest of the poor live. Extremes everywhere one looks. It’s a shame and I hope somehow this entire area can be improved and not just for those with deep pockets.

      1. i see now it did not all get posted. lol. I enjoy how you ask a question and challenge us to look at the world in a different way. Your thought of “do we have what it takes to experience it gracefully” is very deep. The complexity. I must take more thought on this. thank you for continuing to open my eyes to new patterns within and without
