My New Heaven Part II

    1. Thank you, Rob. The Knoxes were good people, with the first Seymour Knox starting out with nothing, building a fortune. I respect people like that and I respect this family even more for turning over this property to the State in order for someone like me to enjoy. Thank you so much for stopping by. Have a great weekend! 🌟🌟🌟

  1. Beautiful property! I can see why people would want their wedding there! They may be looking for a professional photographer to shoot some property shots for a brochure or something like that Amy?? You never know….. would be cool – just as an experience! Thanks for sharing this lovely place! Have a great weekend – much love, Donna

    1. Thank you for saying what you did, Donna. About me being a photographer …. I’ll have to talk to the peeps in the office. I won’t do weddings etc …. I honestly don’t have the equipment for that or the motivation either. But to promote this wonderful place on earth …. that I certainly can do! Thank YOU for the thought …. You have a great weekend too! I’m going to start mine by watering my gardens. GROAN!! Much Love to you! 💝💝💝

    1. I actually peeked inside and there is cobblestone on the floor of these stables and they today are spotless. I didn’t mention it but there are rooms on the second floor where the people who took care of the stables lived. Yes, those stables are a “huge wow”. I think they are more grandiose then the main house itself, which IMO, is very sedate and underplayed classy with no show of obnoxious display of in your face grandeur. Have a great weekend, Mark. Hubby and I have plans of taking our cameras to Knox Farms over the weekend! YAY!! 💖💖💖

      1. It is an amazing place. Have fun then dear lady, I expect no less than another album of shots (I’m kidding, it’s hard enough doing your own thing without expectations getting dropped on you 😀 )
        Have a good weekend ❤️

      2. No expectations …. just flow. You have a great weekend, Mark. I’m finishing up what needs to be addressed now so that I have room on my schedule to “play” over the weekend. Hubby is all excited ….. It seems I’ve acquired a once a week photo buddy! I’m in!! ☺️

  2. I always wonder if I would like to be as rich as that. I think I would, but I’d like to do something constructive with it. I also have a dream of buying a big sports club in England, and then, on behalf of all the women of the nation, closing it down and turning it into a kindergarten or a crèche. It’s making me laugh just thinking about it!

    1. John, this family did do a lot with their money. They started the Buffalo Sabres, our professional hockey team here. They also financed a huge art museum in Buffalo. To me the big one is the decision in turning their entire property over to the State so that people like me can enjoy the immense beauty found in this paradise on earth. I’m not sure if I would like to be as wealthy as that, because with money, comes so many responsibilities. Yes a lot of luxuries and privileges to be sure, but would I really want a life like that? I’m not sure.

    1. Thank you, Irene! Thank you! So happy you could feel the spirit of this place. It’s paradise! FYI …. mixed my bug recipe with almond oil (thank you!) and doubled the amount of essential oils. So far so good but I’ve yet to try on a very hot and humid day. I even had the confidence to shoot today in summer clothes with legs and arms bare. (smile) Much Love to you!! 💞💞💞

    1. Yes it is. 633 acres in all. I finally found the polo fields which are so big I couldn’t even see to the end of them! Many soccer fields are now in there. I LOVE this place!! Much Love to you as well, dear friend! 😘
