    1. You are so welcome, GF. This is my favorite time of the year. The air itself just vibrates with the scents of Lilacs and Peonies. It’s unfortunate that these flowers do not last long. I enjoy them as much as I can while they are here. Now I’m glad you enjoyed them too!! 🌟🌟🌟

    1. Donna, this is a “practice” I daily involve myself with. I do work hard believe me, to create Beauty in all aspects of my life. I’m so grateful you stopped by to see my small corner of Heaven. Much Love to you!! 🌟🌟🌟

  2. For the last week or two this has been the constant word of the Lord to me. WOW again! Everyday, He leads me in remaining in the day, and it’s been amazing. It takes the strength of God to do this because everything about us wants to look and plan forward. In doing so, it oft times robs us of peace. This has truly been an amazing part of this journey that I truly know will serve a greater part in the direction He’s leading! Thanks Sis!

    1. Anthony, now you are understanding when we are in the Flow of Life, as God intended us to be, those who also are in the Flow of Life hear a shared Message. Is this coincidence? I think not. So much of this world tempts us to “worry about tomorrow”, thereby robbing us of precious Life itself, this moment, Now, in all its Glory. I’ve been contending with health issues and finally finally I see Light at the end of the tunnel. Yesterday (when I rode my bike and wrote this post) I honestly had the best day that I’ve had in a LONG time. Now here I am today, in the Flow once again, with JOY uppermost in my Heart and zero worry. Life becomes “magical” in every sense of the world, leaving us with such Peace beyond understanding, and awe for the Gift of Life itself. Yes, God is leading and has been for many a year in my Life. It will be exciting to see where all this leads. (smile) Blessings, dear Brother! Have a most wonderful day!!! 🌟🌟🌟

    1. You are so welcome, Dan. We all need to remind ourselves of those words, including me. When I’m in a tough place especially with my cats, the worry keeps me awake at night.
Did you get my email that has the Biting Bug Spray recipe on it? I sent it to your other email …. not facilities.

    1. It seemed to take forever for my flowers to show, but then wham! So fast … too fast! I’ve been sitting outside next to one of my lilacs reading a book inhaling the fragrance that I wish I could bottle. It’s sunny here and I’m LOVING IT!! Love and Hugs to you, VK!! 🌟🌟🌟

      2. Yep. Rain here too. But I went to the library today and got a bunch of really good books. I’m set. Went to Yoga too today so probably tomorrow I’ll be sore. Good day for me to hunker down with a good book. Love, AR

  4. Tomorrow will take care of itself. Simple, profound wisdom. Peonies are such decadent flowers. I bet they taste like cake to bees. No one does pink, in all of its whimsical hues, like you do, dear Amy💗💝💓💞💕💖

    1. Thank you, dear Julie! Oh I so agree with you about Peonies. I’ve been outside all day practically just staring, inhaling, hanging around both lilacs and peonies. Unfortunately these flowers will not be here for long so I’m enjoying them NOW and not thinking about tomorrow at all. Blushing on your pink compliments …. Bless you!!! 💝💝💝

    1. Thank you, Sylvia. My flowers this year are stupendous! Huge, fragrant, intoxicating. I’ve been outside just relaxing inhaling their tantalizing scents. OH how I wish I could bottle that smell. …. This is my most favorite time of the years. Hands down!! And yes I do enjoy my bike. I had earbuds on while I biked and was singing at the top of my lungs that which I was listening to. You bet I got looks. (smile) Much Love to you! 🌟🌟🌟

  5. Whoa, stunning peonies, Amy! Absolutely Gorgeous!
A pity about the rain pushing them down. So did you fill some vases for the house? I love the scent of peonies when I enter a room and will put a vase near my bedside for sweet dreams. 😉
I staked mine this weekend as this usually happens to me as well. Wire hoops are good if I remember to do it before they grow too tall, otherwise I just stake and rope them.
fyi, a dressing of lime in the fall and a high phosphorous fertilizer like bone meal or superphosphate will help strenghten the stems, making them sturdier to withstand wind and rain next year.

    1. I didn’t have time for the wire braces we have for these Peonies, Eliza. They popped so fast this year. Then hubby was SO involved with lawn work (making up for lost time due to rain) that I couldn’t ask him to assist me putting those wires up, a two man job. And thank you for the tips. My Peonies are SO huge that I don’t think anything added to the soil will keep them up. I will try though. I give them plenty of horse poop but perhaps that is not enough. I have bone mean in our barn. I will add that to the soil this Fall.

Thank YOU for the compliments on my Peonies. I have spent the majority of today with them and my Lilacs just savoring their presence while they last. Thank goodness the temps are not too hot and it is dry as well. Perhaps they will last longer then I anticipate. Much Love to you!! 💜💜💜

      1. I hope you don’t mind my sharing my gardening tips, I can’t help it! 😉 This time of year I remind myself ‘LIPs like lime’ (Lilac, Iris, Peonies) – it makes it easier for me to remember!

      2. Do I mind? Are you serious? Eliza! I so appreciate help. I’ve been gardening for years I admit but I am always learning. Lime. And I like LIPs like lime. Good way to remember that. 🤗

    2. PS Oh yes I do have cuttings of both the Peonies and my Lilacs in the house. Both are so plentiful this year I have been making bouquets and giving them to those I know. SMILE

    1. Thank you, John. Yes these images are all of peonies. They finally burst open and then the rain brought them to the ground. VERY challenging year for both gardner and farmer.

    1. You got that right, Scott. Tomorrow never does come, yet so many of us, myself included, “worry” about something that does not even exist. Huh. We humans are strange at times. Weather here has not been too cooperative for me to take pictures but whenever I see the sun, I run!

    1. Oh yes I definitely do know that all of Nature does converse, in ways we may not understand but it does happen. And I thank you about my gardens ….. There is a lot of time and effort that go into these to keep my flowers growing beautifully. 🦋🦋🌟

    1. I’m stunned by what I have been seeing and am seeing in my gardens this year, Miriam. We’ve had downpour after downpour with barely any sun at all ….. yet, some of my flowers are the most fragrant they have ever been and my bushes/tress the largest they have ever been. I’ve been in Lilac/Peony Heaven for the last week or so …. OH those scents are Heaven sent! SO glad you saw this post to see another portion of my life ….. Paradise. Much Love to you! 🌟🌟🌟
