    2. I attempted to comment on your blog., Rob, but it said I needed to sign in. I am signed in. My comment I was going to leave …. Just looking at your image made me dizzy. It’s been a long time since I’ve been in a busy city and to be truthful with you, I don’t think I could tolerate it well. As for the quote …. I totally understand. 🤗

  1. I feel your pain. Inadvertently overwrote some of my best pictures of Central Drakensberg in post-processing and am now left only with memories etched in my mind. Your photography rainbow would brighten any day.

  2. Oh Amy, I’m so sorry you lost all those photos. I imagine it was gut wrenching. But thank you for showing us all those beautiful photos and gorgeous colours of nature. Loved the yellow in particular, the colour of happiness. That’s what I wish for you. xx 🌼💛

    1. Nope. No sun today, Scott. I learned real fast that my AF with a LONG lens on my camera is very temperamental on heavy overcast days. It finally stopped raining today so out I went to my fav park. I did manage to get some shots …. those I will be showing. I’m with you …. I don’t have a favorite shot either. I drool over all of them. LOL

    1. My face is getting interesting, don’t you think, Mark? The sorrows and pain are being etched onto my face. If you know where to look, you will see the “new” lines. I’m learning how to smile again after the depths of sorrow my Heart has recently known …. that’s coming but slowly. SO happy you enjoyed my photography! Even though the light is not all that great here, at least it has stopped raining so again I try try try to capture magic. Try? Who am I kidding? Magic happens! LOL May you have much JOY and Love in your life today, dear friend. 🌟🌟🌟

  4. That must have been so frustrating losing all those photos!! So sorry, that stinks. I love the colors on these! Really bright and the Warblers are so beautiful! The rain has been unbelievable. I’ve been in RI for over a week now and had one day with sun. Oh well. Anyway, we carry on. Have a great day! Much love, Donna

    1. Yes, Donna, it was frustrating, yet life goes on. I tried again yesterday and YES did photograph those birds again … they showed up as if Mother told them …. Amy is coming! But! LOL I had the wrong tracking mode on and boy did I struggle to get at least one decent frame. I could have done better yet what I did manage to get I am so grateful for. And this rain! Unreal isn’t it? The sun did peek out for all of one hour this morning, and now once again, it is clouding over. *sighs* We may enjoy the rain while it is here … I have a feeling we will be having a very hot and dry summer. Much Love to you this day!! 💖💖💖

    1. Aw, MichelleMarie, bless you for your empathy. And I thank you for your compliments on my images and my “face”. The last picture of me I had on here I was standing on ice and in my snow gear, so I decided it high time to change that picture, seeing it’s Spring and all. And so I did. Sorry to hear about your experience …. that is a big ouch, IMO. Anyone who is a photographer gets it. May you have a really wonderful day today!! I hope the sun is shining your way! 🌟🌟🌟

  7. I’ve been spending some time in 2 Kings chapter 3, where the Lord gave the prophet Elisha a command to give to King Jehoshaphat…

“And he said, “Thus says the Lord: ‘Make this valley full of ditches.’ 17 For thus says the Lord: ‘You shall not see wind, nor shall you see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with water, so that you, your cattle, and your animals may drink.’ 18 And this is a SIMPLE MATTER in the sight of the Lord; He will also deliver the Moabites into your hand”

I remember reading this passage several years ago as the Lord began dealing with me on faith, obedience and His sovereign will to do things in our lives, and boy has it been an amazing journey. Well, as I read your story of the “lost files” and how devastating this was to you, I heard the Lord immediately say to me that He was responsible for “those two situations you don’t experience often, if ever!”

And although it may seem or you may feel as if you’ll never experience such majestic beauty again, remember who’s really in charge. In the aforementioned passage, the Lord did something miraculous. He told Jehoshaphat to dig ditches, but He told him that he wouldn’t be able to see wind or rain, but that the ditches would indeed fill up…ACCORDING to His word, the next morning, water came and the land was full of water…(vs 20) What I also love about this passage is what Elijah said, “this is a SIMPLE MATTER in the sight of the Lord…

Question! Amy, would you really want to see that majestic sight again? The Lord can do it, and it’s a SIMPLE MATTER in His eyes…

“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. 9 “Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? 11 If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! Matthew 7:7-11

    1. Anthony, I read this comment and I read it again. I am so moved by what you left for me to read. I was SO bummed by losing those pictures that I lost “sight” of my attitude when I do go to the park. Of course, God can let these circumstances reoccur and even better if He so deems it to be! I know this! Whenever I go to the park, I just go without expectations, just being in the moment, feeling the Connection that is so sacred to me, and allowing whatever it is to be to unfold. I just flow. I am so thankful. I am not ever disappointed for God always and I mean always, allows me to see sights that have my mouth hanging wide open in awe. I find my healing in the forest. I find me in the forest. For the forest is my “church” and where I get back into the moment where only God exists. God bless you for taking the time to write out this long comment, one that I cherish! Bless you! I am going today again to this park for the darkness is lighting up and finally it has stopped raining. I go there in great anticipation and JOY knowing that God will meet me in that forest without a doubt. Thank you SO much for this encouraging comment. (((HUGS)))!!!

      2. Talking about confirmation! So, I read your message, looked at the pics, but didn’t PAY ATTENTION to the name of the 1st bird on your blog. (Yellow Warbler) I’ve been in a place of transition, sensing that It’s Time. I mean really that time when everything the Lord has been doing and saying is getting ready to manifest. Like the time when a woman truly knows it time for the baby to come, or like for Joshua when it was really time to walk into that promised land. Sure, I’ve wanted to be in this place in time past, but everything I’ve been hearing, sensing, and seeing are saying that It’s Time.

Back to the Yellow Warbler…Several years back, maybe 9 or so, while in my favorite meditation spot on the Flint River in Albany, GA, I stopped by before going to a REFRESH conference. During this time, I was in an amazing place where the Lord was beginning to lead me down an uncharted path. It was a place where I had no one around me to lean on, but the Lord. So on this particular morning, bird watchers were flocking to the area to catch the birds in migration. After spending time with the Lord, I finally approached one and asked him what he was looking at. His answer was a Yellow Warbler. To me “at the time” that meant nothing really, except that it was a beautiful bird, so I chatted with him and then I left.

After getting to the conference, the morning presenter was Ken Jenkins, a nationally renown minister who uses nature in his presentations. (https://www.kenjenkins.com/)
Although I don’t remember the topic of his message, I was immediately captivated and mesmerized by what the Lord had done. The 1st slide that he showed for the morning session was yes, a Yellow Warbler. By this time, I was blown away because I knew God was speaking and He had my undivided attention. At this moment, I knew beyond any shadow of doubt that I was in the right place at the right time. This wasn’t coincidence at all. Before meeting the bird-watcher, I knew nothing of a YW, and then to get to a conference and the very 1st slide be a YW….Oh my….

So over the last 3 years of the 11 years total, and in particular the last 5-6 months, I’ve been in this place trying to wrap my mind around all that’s going on. God’s given me directions and instructions which I’ve read in the bible, but haven’t heard much of in 2019. He said to me, stand still and see My salvation. He also said Be still and know that I am God. Recently He said, no more posting on WP, just get ready for what’s next. Sometimes doors have to be closed before others will open…

There’s been a bit of a wrestling match in my mind, but hey, I’m going to press through and obey. So after reading what you responded with, “sensing” I scrolled through the comments and noticed a fellow blogger commented about the Yellow Warbler, and that’s when I realized I’d completely missed the name and a major nudge from the Lord, but it was probably by divine design. As soon as I saw the pic again, and read the name, the Lord reminded me of what He’d done 10 years ago. The Lord spoke through your 1st pic, like He did through Mr. Jenkins’s 1st slide saying to me that Yes, I’m in the right place at the right time, and yes It’s Time! Then He said, FULLY BELIEVE FULLY RECEIVE! WOW! Sorry for such a long response, and I started to solicit your email address and make it private, but the Lord said nope, type it because someone else may need to read it.

So yes, I want to encourage someone else by way of your message to keep seeking the Lord because He truly does have a path just for you. No matter how long it takes, don’t quit. Listen for the Lord’s voice, He’ll lead and guide your through…Somebody else reading this needs to FULLY BELIEVE in order to FULLY RECEIVE!

Thanks Sis! Hugs and love all the way from Georgia!!

      3. The KEY to “hearing” Divine Guidance is exactly as you stated, Anthony. One has to pay attention in order to hear/see God’s Voice. He does communicate in ways we really don’t expect so when we do catch on, oh for the JOY! Your story is so moving and I’m glad you left it here instead of my email. I know a little what you are feeling right now …. your excitement FYI flew off the page! I’ve been in a holding position for a LONG time (years) yet I did not waver nor did I doubt I was being led. Just lately doors have opened, and even though I am still in a holding position (read no green light yet for full steam ahead), for the first time ever I know where I am heading. How it will all work out is another thing, but not to worry for that too shall unfold, in its own timing. Walking in Faith is blind much of the time. I couldn’t explain much of what I do except for the fact that this is what I am being guided to do. So with my share of my “little story” you understand truly that yes I “get” where you are coming from. You are SO welcome, Bro! HUGS and Love from NY! 💖💖💖

For years I never saw Orioles, and now I see them all over. Perhaps these birds are where you live but you just are not seeing them? Hope you are having some sun your way … we are! YAY!! 🌟🌟🌟

Well done AR…
I will be quiet for a short spell as my son comes Saturday to visit for a week. I doubt I’ll be on the Internet much. I haven’t seen him for 2 years and lord knows when I will see him again. So just know I am not avoiding you but just busy. Stay dry and warm over there…Raining now and its a raw 45 degrees out there. I’m staying home!!!! Be well Amy…Much love to you…VK ❤
