  1. Great shots AR !!! Well, all except the snake. Do not really like those critters. Did love the Oriole’s gorgeous color….BTW, what are those tiny white flowers? Is it Shadblow? Kinda looks like it…So glad you are seeing more color as you go. Enjoy your journey AR….Much love…VK ❤

    1. Morning, VK! Again I got lost in the email land. LOL Snakes don’t bother me as long as they are small. Those small flowers are a variety of Sweet William (I think). Not sure and in fact I went to check if I still had the ID label spiked in the ground and I cannot find it. Slowly, we are seeing more color. Oh thank goodness! Much Love to you!!! 🌟🌟🌟

  2. Hi Amy! It’s the best fun to give nature a voice! I’m watching my sister’s dog for 2 weeks and this dog never talked so much!! Its like – if she could talk . . . what would she say – so I speak it for her – at least my interpretation anyway! It’s a lot of fun. Looks like you have nature-speak to a T. Loved your captions – they fit all the expressions perfectly!! Even the flowers had expressions!! Always so much fun too – I mean who really knows – why not!! Wonderful photos!! Thanks!! Much love, Donna

    1. Thank you, Donna! I had fun doing this post! You should be a fly on the wall when I talk to my cats. LOL I not only talk to them I follow that up with what I think my cats are saying. Or, I talk in “made up talk just to flow with my voice as my eyes adore the cat I am interacting with. SO glad you came by. You sound like you are in a good space. Nice!! Have a great day! Much Love to you!! 💜💜💜

  3. Amy, these are so amazing, I love these close ups, they are so perfect. It’s rare we can come close in like this and see these beautiful creatures, thank you for getting out there and sharing them with us. Your photography is unsurpassed. ❤

  4. Amazing photos, beautifully captured, Amy! And my latest conversation was with my blackbird today, at dawn! It is not a conversation per se, you see! He stands in my garden and observes me, turning its head from side to side! And I follow it’s lead!😂😂😂 But we both enjoy this exchange though! Heals our soul.❤️❤️🌷

    1. I am laughing out loud just picturing you and the blackbird conversing. I’ve had a few of those myself as I silently stand there to converse with a bird. It is SO cool! And yes, Sonia, these interchanges do heal our Souls. I am so humbled that Nature trusts me, as I am sure you are too!! Much Love to you!! 💜💜💜 PS. Thank you so much for your compliment on my photography. It means so much to me! 💞

    1. Yes I really do “talk” with Nature, Takami. I am in awe of how much healing I have been given in doing so. You are so welcome for me sharing. Hopefully if you and I and others like us continue to do what we do, people will actually begin to notice what is around them. Much Love to you this day!! 🌟🌟🌟

    1. Oh wow, you have never seen a Baltimore Oriole? I am fascinated by these birds! I was like an obsessed woman for 3 years trying to entice them into my yard to feed, and finally they came. I LOVE their song. Oh yes Orioles are as bright if not more so as my picture shows. I am thrilled I was able to show you what one looks like. HAPPY DANCE!!! 🌟🌟🌟

      1. We love gold finches and at the moment we are delighted that they are plentiful, collecting seeds from the dandelions in our lawn. Your hard work paid off Amy! Xx

  5. How many? Too many, probably. Haha. Good thing I don’t encounter other humans when I’m out in the woods. I’d scare them. 🙂 Your photos always lift me up, Amy. Thank you.

    1. Julie, you make me laugh. You are just so cute and adorable! I don’t care anymore if other people are around when I am in Nature. In fact, when I took the picture of the Oriole, there was another (male) photographer next to me, but despite this fact, I began to talk out loud to the Oriole to entice him to come out to show me his profile. I heard the man laugh at my silliness in glee as my childlike delight was seen. Case in point, being free in Nature is catching. Don’t hide your Beauty or what you do to connect with Nature. If someone thinks you are a different, let them! That’s a GOOD thing! And I thank you for your wonderful compliment regarding my photography. Bless you, little Nature Fairy! 🌟🌟🌟

      1. Aw thanks Amy😊 Nature Fairy is a role I am delighted to inhabit. 🧚🏻‍♀️ And I don’t hide my weirdness, especially in Nature. I live in a very wild place so almost never see another human when I’m in the woods. No Bigfoot either. But if I ever cross his path you’ll be the first to know.😁

      2. How lucky you are to have a piece of the Wild all to yourself! I mean that! I have to go to parks to get some of that Wild which means people. Now about Bigfoot …. if anyone can find him, you can! 😘😂

  6. I thought about chronicling the nest building, nesting, and birthing of some birds on our porch that built a nest on our shutters, but the Lord said don’t interrupt them, just enjoy the birthing process! It’s truly been amazing watching their God-given instincts on display! Amazing!

    1. God may tell you differently if or when those birds trust you. Then you may hear a different directive. Birds are amazing to watch! There are times I wish I had bird binoculars just so that I can watch. There are times I do with just my eyes ….. And I am in awe!! Bless you for listening! 🦋🦋🦋

    1. Thank you, Cathy. No I don’t enter any of my photos in shows. My life right now is full of other priorities so they come first. After those priorities are finished, I will be broadening my horizons with my photography. Bless you for such high compliments!! (((HUGS)))!!! 🦋🦋🦋

  8. I can’t believe how they are all checking you out Amy, a look that says ‘is this my good side?’. And I also can’t believe you sat there for the snake to check you out, you must be a nature lady to sit still taking that one 😀
And the flowers are magical too dear lady, thank you for sharing ❤

    1. I was purposely capturing in such a way that the Beautiful Creations I saw were either looking at me, or showing me their “stuff”. Whispers was born a feral cat and when he goes into boy mode, let me tell you, he’s wild! As for that snake, I actually softly and very respectfully “stalked” him while he slithered in the leaves. I know he saw me, and this picture I took of him proves it. Two photographers were walking down the path when they saw me do the slink slide side walk along with the snake. They stood where they were, bless them!, knowing if they came in any closer it would scare the snake. Yes, some people really do respect Nature. How awesome! I was in awe that this snack trusted me. He really was shy as he peeked up at me. Yes, Mark, magic I am finding or is it the other way around? Much Love to you, dear friend! 💜💜💜

    1. Thank you, YellowCable. I’m sorry if you thought some of the conversation was scary or startling. I just felt in my Heart that what I said was what that bird or snake or cat were saying. 🦋🦋🦋

      1. Ohhhhh that explains things. I’m not too crazy abut snakes either, but, this one was small and his energy told me he was harmless. I don’t go out of my way to seek snakes, and that is the truth. 🌹🌹🌹

    1. I am getting such an education out on the field, Prag. When I started I did not know the names of the birds except for the few I recognized. Now however, I’m learning to ID birds not only through their calls, but their shapes and what they actually look like. I am in awe of what Mother is allowing me to see and in the way that I am seeing. Bless you for seeing, dear friend. Bless you!! 🦋🦋🦋

  9. Great shots and caption Amy.
They all touch my heart ❤️
    More specially this one
I may be old but I am still beautiful.
Aren’t we all as we age and embrace the lessons that Nature
    teaches us.🌹❤️🌹

    1. Yes, Anita, I could relate as well to the caption that touched you the most. I too am getting “up there with those darn numbers” yet my face shows character and what I have lived, as I am sure yours does as well. So happy you stopped by to view this post. May your day be a really great one today!! 🌟🌟🌟

  10. Yes, nature does talk. She also cries, laughs and screams… much like you did when you were lied to.
two of the most precious people in my life turned out to be liars. BIG LIARS
I didn’t get too, outwardly angry. I was saddened… became numb.
Now, I can spot a liar a word away. I’ll not be hurt again.
You know, it’s really great to come here and see the fruits of your passion and your camera. Yours is a world of beauty, captured forever.
The birds in flight are like a heart in love, and the flowers are the rest of the story.
Thank you for your wonderful posts, Amy! -Resa xoxo

    1. Resa, Love, I read this yesterday and have had your words on my mind all day long today. I take my cues from Mother as how to live my life day to day. As in …. what to do.
SORRY to hear about the LIARS. Darn! How can people lie that profess to not only care for you, but Love you? I’m shaking my head …. I just don’t get it. I am SO sorry you had to experience such a painful event. I too can spot a liar a mile away, yet this I must say …. when I have my head wrapped around caring for someone who is dying (on Hospice care) my attention is not 100%. Also, there are those who are such pros at lying they become masters of lying. I usually can spot those too, however, when I’m holding onto a knot I tied at the end of my rope to hang on to, there again, I miss things. The GOOD news is about this experience ….. many Blessings bloomed from out of it.
Thank you so much for what you say not only about my photography but my blog. My intention is to make this place an oasis, a place where one can stop and breathe and take in the Wonders of Mother. You are so very welcome for me sharing my Heart. You know you are welcome here anytime. I know how busy you are with all that sewing, so I am very honored you made the time to come by. BIG (((HUGS))) and sending you 😘😘😘 Don’t let the LIARS and bastards of this world effect your emotions. Don’t shut down. Find that Spark of Child-like glee and show it to the world. Brene Brown says again and again, to which I agree …. unless we become vulnerable, we will not be able to LOVE. 🌟🌟🌟 I do Love you, dear friend across the border. I’m not far from you at all. 😉
