    1. Sorry, Wendi, but your comment never showed in my notifications. I’m glad I checked right at the post itself. You are so very welcome for my share. I am in awe of what I am seeing after a Winter of bare and white. May you have a wonderful day today!! 🦋🦋🦋

      1. I’m getting the camera of my dreams, Holly. I could just cry about this! I’ve waited so long! Now I will be able to really get wildlife a whole lot better with increased number of frames per second. I’m blushing with your compliment. No one ever achieves perfection by just sitting. (except of course if you are a poet 😘) I’ve worked so hard to get to where I am. Yes I LOVE photography and that is what kept driving me to do what I am. BIG (((HUGS)))!!! XOXO 😘😘😘

  1. Glad to see you upbeat and happy! I hoped some quiet time would help heal you if you were outside and breathing in nature 🙂 I finally have green grass today because the rain has taken away the snow. Will it last? Who the heck knows but it’s a treat to see!!! Looking for my crocus as the snow melts away…Hugs to you and the babies…Stay in the light AR….Much love…VK ❤

    1. I’m choosing Happy in order to be present for my family, VK. Bella had a long and beautiful life with us and it truly is a relief her struggles are over. It is just the selfish “love” that doesn’t want to let go. Yes the outdoors is healing me. I’ve been in the forest a lot of late and will continue to do so. And YAY for green grass and crocuses!! I’m thrilled for you!! Much Love to you!! 🦋🦋🦋

    1. Couldn’t agree with you more about singing, Sonia. Singing uplifts the spirit so much! I’m staying in Nature as best I can to achieve the Healing I richly deserve. I’m “blushing” over your words “brilliant photos and words”. Thank you, dear friend. You have given me inspiration and motivation to keep moving forward. Bless you!! Much Love to you! 🦋🦋🦋

      1. I did kneel down to get some close-ups in the park, but they did not turn out well. I got a nice shot of water drops on some buds in a tree, but the bud was at eye-level.

      2. Yes I did see that shot and I’m sorry I didn’t comment. I actually said to me …. wow, Dan, is getting really good. Keep in mind, I’ve been doing this macro stuff for years so have developed a system how to steady my hands. I even challenge myself further by shooting in manual focus. 😉

      3. I’m also trying to figure out how to get this camera (point and shoot) to focus on the right subject. I have the focus set correctly, but I was trying to take pictures of very small flowers (weeds). I appreciate your kind words.

      4. AF can be a PIA sometimes. If there is a way to shoot manually when you are doing very closeup shots, I would recommend that. This way you have control over the focus point. The other day I was with a photographer out in the woods and we both were taking pics of Wood Ducks. He showed me a pic he had taken where his AF focused on a branch, not the duck. We both laughed. It happens a lot!

    1. In a matter of speaking, I’ve gardened for so many years I suppose I have become a Master Gardener. There is a lot to know and even more to do. Bless you, Hien, for the recognition you gave me. Thank you! 🦋🦋🦋

    1. Thank you! It is a choice in what I am doing. I have experienced so many deaths over the past 2 years that I’m getting to a place I just cannot allow myself to go to the depths of despair that I have previously any more. It is too hard making my way back up to the surface. Yes my Heart cries and it will for a while. But I am doing things to keep me up above the pit of despair not only for me but for my family who depend on me for their welfare. Bless you for being a part of this process that I am displaying. May it give you food for thought for the days your Heart weeps over the loss of Loved Ones. Much Love to you! 🦋🦋🦋

  2. Awesome photography of the new life! Some of the colors can be so vivid and deep at the beginning. Just got back from a week of cleaning out the childhood home with my sisters – getting ready to sell it. Talk about new beginnings – letting go of that house after 55 years. Ready to move on, letting go of the memories and stepping into the new!! Much love to you!! Donna

    1. Thank you so much, Donna!! Apologies for the late reply. I saw your comment yesterday but somehow blipped over it, never responding. So today I am. I’d truly say you are stepping into New Beginnings. Clearing out 55 years worth of “stuff” and then selling the house, oh man, that is HUGE. No wonder you have been quiet on email. May this New Beginning Bless you over and over again as you embark on a New Phase of your Journey. Much Love to you and (((HUGS)))!!! 🦋🦋🦋

    1. You’re right, Sylvia. I don’t think like that at all. Everyone here is so prim and proper except for well me, who actually forgets I’m in a nightie as I walk into my backyard. LOL I embarrass the heck out of Hubby, but he’s another story. Oh well! Such is life! And I thank you on the compliments of my photography. YAY for Spring! 🦋🦋🦋

    1. Julie, I am laughing as I write this. OH how I needed a laugh! THANK YOU! Of course you can come over and cause a bit of ruckus with me! I would LOVE to have another just as carefree as me to dance barefoot along right there with me! Open door policy! LOL You made my day! 😂😂😂

  3. “…dancing like a madwoman” I love it Amy!! Yes! it’s like I always say, people don’t know what it takes for a person to find their peace and joy, so be you and do you because they don’t matter, YOU DO!

Sending much love and light my dear. xoxo 😁😍

  4. What beautiful macros shots, Amy. You really are in your element here, song, dance, singing and all – got your groove on. Josh Groban’s album Awake is amazing. Really any of his works is amazing, and maybe it will grow on your neighbours if they have never heard of him. Don’t blame you for wanting to stay out there in your garden and stay there for as long as you like. Seasons come and seasons go, and when the good ones comes why not enjoy it to the fullest. Summer is coming your way which means more weather, more colourful plants for you to admire and more workouts for your camera. Enjoy. Also thank you for sharing what you live and experience on here, and for giving us your time as well ❤

    1. Thank you, Mabel. I adore Josh Groan … I think his voice is absolutely stunning! I actually had earbuds in so no one could hear the music playing but they sure could hear me singing! LOL I’m enjoying the outdoors as much as I possibly can. I will share as much as I can here with all who do come. I’ve taken so many pictures already that it is impossible to get them posted here. It is time consuming to do what I do with blogging, taking into consideration all that I do in “real Life”. I will just keep on posting as much as I can. I’m really happy you manage to get over here to see what I do. Thank you again!! Much Love to you! 🦋🦋🦋

      1. Josh Groban does have an absolutely stunning voice, and he has quite a vocal range. Keep singing his songs outdoors, indoors, whenever you feel like it! Maybe at some point you’ll feel like keeping indoors and then you’ll have all these photos to work with 🙂

  5. Those pictures!!! That magic!! I will say no more 🙂 You know how much I indulge with my heart with your beautiful work!
That joy and not caring – it is a dream for me to achieve. Feels very distant for now – I am way too conscious and constricted still.

    1. Ahhhh, Ms. Prim and Proper. Yep, I sense that about you, Prag. It is so freeing not to care what others think and I have every confidence in you that you will someday kick up your heals and just do your thing. Oh the feeling I had dancing and swaying and singing at the top of my lungs! I must do that more often. Today I screamed and cried while walking in a park as the mistakes I made with Bella haunted me. I sobbed. I got everything out until I again came to Calm. And I didn’t care who saw the tears on my face. You can do this! In the Perfect Time of course. Keep soaking up my magic I am showing you …. allow that magic to speak to you to get you to unwind. (smile) I speak from the hip and the Heart. I mean no offense whatsoever. I wouldn’t have said what I did unless I was absolutely sure you understand where I am coming from. Sending you mega Love and (((HUGS)))!! XOXO

      1. Haha yes Prim & Proper 🙂 Always guarded about making a mistake …
I so yearn to kick my heals and just Be the Joy. I have shown tears more courageously. I have smiled truly courageously during unlikely times. But that happiness of singing and dancing – that freedom seems out of reach. I feel your heart in your caring loving words to me. I do understand 🙂 Thank you for the space for this conversation.

      2. Do not give up on breaking through in order to experience the freedom of letting the “little kid” out to play, Prag. For SO many years, I acted according to my status …. RN (Oh so serious!), and that role stuck. Years went by after my back injury where Life itself taught me not to take myself so seriously and to again experience the JOY of just Being. It’s a process and a Journey. I’m not always like that, for my life holds many responsibilities where once again the “adult” must BE. Hubby often complains he never knows what will come forth from me and I just grin telling him life is too short to be put into a box. GOOD LUCK!!! XO

    1. Life is all around us, Randall. It is only we who miss it out on it with all our busy-ness. it is so important to stop and listen and watch and BE a part of that which is so prevalent around us. All of us need to reconnect to Mother Nature …. 🦋🦋🦋

      1. Very true ~ to take the time to sit back and just soak it in can be difficult to do in a life where everyone is pushed to do more & more all the time. Cheers and enjoy all the Mother Nature brings.

    1. Thank you truly for this comment. One of the goals of my photography is to show everyone who comes here, that the Divine is within everything as expressions of Love. I LOVE what I do and I SO encourage you to get back to your camera. I have every intention to run after every one of my Dreams, and even if I don’t make them come true (yes I do create!), I will have known at the very least I have tried to. May you have a really great day today, J.H.! 🦋🦋🦋
