  1. Hysterical….I still say it is time for mental telepathy as words seem to constantly get us in trouble these days…Your experience made me remember back years ago when I had dental work done and the guy was giving me laughing gas. I had never had it before and it freaked me out, the feeling it gave me, almost as if I was falling and I reached out frantically to hold on only I ended up grabbing the poor guy in a very delicate place…Talk about embarrassing…Oh well…What will be will be. Great pictures of winter. Well done AR! Now I’m ready for spring…..Hugs…VK ❤

    1. LOL@VK regarding your story! Oh my! How funny!! I had no laughing gas, mind you to blame for the blah that came from my mouth. Believe it or not, I’m really enjoying Winter this year. Who me? Yes me. Perhaps by March I’ll change my tune! Happy Weekend, dear friend!! (((HUGS)))! 💖

  2. Great story Amy! Seriously, only you at the dentist could be coming up with something like that! 😎😷 Too funny! I love snow scapes, they are my favorite of all time photos. I don’t know why, maybe because I always feel magic when it first snows. It lights up my heart. Your shots are wonderful, and since there is no snow here for me to relish in – I’ll keep on enjoying yours!! Have a great weekend!!

    1. Thank you, Donna!! I’ve learned to laugh at myself and NOT to take myself too seriously. I LOVE to make others laugh, and that is exactly what I did with my dental hygienist. As for the embarrassing moment ….. I could have very well done without that but …. who knew I could still blush? Teehee …… I too really LOVE the snow especially when everything is all white. I’m really enjoying myself this Winter, dear friend, a new first for me!! Happy Weekend!! ☺️💝😁

  3. That is funny. I did not pick whether the Doc. is a He or She. I hope the Doc. took it well as a light matter. I would say that is not to worry.

These are awesome winter scene just as those post cards!

  4. Beautiful photos. Great story. Reminds of a joke where a woman was lying in the dentist chair full of anxiety about having a cavity filled. The dentist comes in and asks how she’s doing. She tells him “Oh! I don’t know. I think I’d rather got through labor to have another baby than have my teeth worked on.” The dentist replied “Well. Make up your mind so I can adjust the chair!”

    1. LOL I’m just so used to saying everything off the cuff without the pressure of “oh-oh better not say that cuz blah blah blah” that when I do get talking, what comes out of me amazes even me. LOL I’m real all right. Teehee ….. Happy Weekend! 😂

  6. Look on the bright side. In England, nobody would have seen the slightest bit of innuendo in what you said.
More importantly, they are wonderful photographs of the desolation of winter., especially the second one of the whole lot, with the effect of fog or mist.

    1. John, some of these images were taken in the morning when it was snowing outside. I had a towel slung over my camera to keep it dry. I LOVE the effect falling snow has. Thank you for noticing. You are the first one to do so!! And as for what happened at the dentist … whatever! LOL 😁

  7. What a winter landscape Amy, the beauty in its intricacies of lacework, shapes and just outright amazement at what a winter can do. And believe it or not, I was stunned by the photo where the red tractor stood out to break that all white scenery, it was somehow magic among the magic. I think it was letting me know that the world was still there….waiting 😀
Maybe that was a symbol of a flaming red face on the dentists chair, spirit was talking to you through your camera? 😀 ❤

    1. I am SO happy you are enjoying, Mark, my white playground of late. It is amazing what Winter can do, for it transform all that is around. Thank you for saying something about the photograph you pointed out. I stood looking at this amazing portrait that Mother painted for a LONG time. Without those red tractors, you would have thought the image was a Black and White one. Nope. And perhaps those two tractors represented my flaming cheeks? LOL Too funny!! Teehee ….. Much Love to you! 💞

    1. I’m the furthest thing from paranoid. As for media, I avoid it. In my own way of thinking, there were sexual innuendos in what I said. I also happen to blush when embarrassed. And that’s as it is with me. 💝

  8. Hahaha! Oh, Amy, I blushed WITH you, I swear! I didn’t think of the sexy until you did, and then I blushed. I do the same. I say the darnedest things. And I blush beet red instantly. I think though, the world needs us clowns 😀 We keep it light. xo

  9. You can’t be held accountable for what you say in the dental chair, Amy Rose. 😀More importantly, your black and whites are superb. The tonal quality and the clarity are excellent and your editing is done with a deft touch.

      1. I went to a writers’ conference and somehow, do not ask me how, I got my arms (knobby elbows) stuck between the slats on my chair back, both elbows! For several minutes, I tried to secretly wriggle free, but I could Not get out. Eventually I had to ask for help. That stopped the whole conference, while everyone tried to figure out how the heck I’d become stuck and how to get me free. I was so red-faced that I was sweating. It was embarrassing to say the least! But I also couldn’t stop laughing. Yeesh! Lol.

    1. I’m so glad you enjoy coming here, Michael. I do try my best not to fall into posting like posts all the time so I like to mix things up a bit. We can tend to fall into a trend or get stuck on a wheel that just goes round and round. Life is so interesting and that is no exception to me. Ha!! I have no choice but to blush. That is a part of me. LOL 😉

    1. I never know what may come flying out of my mouth, Julie. Blame those darn cats of mine. I’m just so used to talking off the top of my head and so continue to do so in life. LOL I thank you so much for telling me how much you enjoyed my pictures. 💞
