  1. Hugs to you and your fuzzy babies…your husband do, of course, but we all know that cats get first place, every time…I mean they are gods, after all. I hope the New Year brings health and happiness to all of you.

    1. LOL I like the way you added “My husband too” as if he were an afterthought. No worries. He tends to get lost in the shuffle at times when I’m so busy with the care of our cats. My head can only be wrapped around so much at a time. (wink!)

My cats are fascinating, Gigi! I’ve been playing with them, with my eyes closed and only using one hand, as between cat and hand, the “dance” begins and the communication as well. I’ll be doing a lot more on this …. It is just SO cool what I am discovering how these cats communicate!

May your Christmas be bright and your New Year bring to you much happiness and Peace. Much Love to you, dear friend. 😘

    1. I will get back to me, Dan. That is one guarantee I have because I am healthy. Coming back to 100% will happen and soon! I never know when I will return to WP when I say I’m off for a while. But ….

If I’m still not around come New Years, may your new year be filled with JOY as well! Merry Christmas, dear friend! 💝💞💝

  2. Thanks for the gift of your photos! They are beautiful! I am happy to hear you are taking some needed time for yourself and your family! I understand how you are feeling. Had a chance to fly home this year but just couldn’t make the trip due to having the flu and being very tired. I chose to rest too. Take care of yourself and sending lots of hugs to you and your family!! Much love, Donna

    1. Oh, Donna, you are so welcome! It is my pleasure always to share what I absolutely LOVE to do with my camera and in an editing room. Yes, dear friend, there does come a time when we must say no for our own good. If we do not take care of ourselves, we will never succeed with all we are born to do! I’m attending to some comments here then off to the couch I go to watch a movie. All my “kids” have gotten all they were supposed to get today up until now, I received a gorgeous coral ROSE antique pin for my 35th Wedding Anniversary, and now for the rest of the day, my feet are up as best I can.

May your Christmas be glorious, dear friend. Peace and Much Love to you!! 💝💝💝

    1. Merry Christmas, CM. Your offer really and I mean really touched me. Bless you for the caring I feel in your words. Perhaps we could plan on spending a few hours in the magical land only found when both of us have a camera in hand. (((HUGS)))! 💝💝💝

  3. My favorites are the grasses, with the stream and with the fence. Please take the time you need. Happy Anniversary and Merry Christmas. There is no rule about how you celebrate. Quiet time together as a family sounds nice.

  4. I wish that everything is arranged for your cats, to take your time for what you have to do
Your friends (same virtual ones) will be there on your return.
I do not like Christmas but this year someone is gone, in this case Eos my cat …
Have a good time with your family

    1. Yoshimi, as I have been telling myself, life is for living. Those who have gone on before us would wish happiness for us. Oh yes the pain of loss is there, especially when a loss is near, but with time that pain fades to a dull ache. I really hope your day yesterday was a good one! 💝💝💝

  5. Merry Christmas AR….I’m not going to write a lot here, just sending my love to you. Been down in bed, on my back, for eight days of the WORST bug these damn deep state creatures can dream up. It damn near killed me it seemed. Haven’t been that sick in my entire life! So have a wonderful, stress free holiday and know I am thinking about you. Back to bed now, my five minute spurt is over 😦 Hugs…VK ❤

    1. OH, VK! So sorry to hear that you have been ill! I hope you have someone there to help you. I remember when I was down with the worst bug of my life a few years back with a very high fever that left me almost helpless. Please take care of yourself! Take things nice and slow and easy as you are on the mend. You are in my thoughts and prayers. (((HUGS)))!!! 💞💞💞

      1. All alone but still breathing 🙂 Six days of 101-102 temps…I am now on day 11 of being in bed and sick. Finally killed the fever. It’s been hard keeping cats fed and kitty boxes cleaned…
Thanks for your prayers…Back to bed again…Hugs..VK ❤

      2. I did it alone pretty much too, dear friend. Hubby does not know how to care for these cats like I do so I HAD to get up to care for them. It was hell. I will not stop praying until I hear you are doing better. (((HUGS)))!

  6. Enjoy your time of disconnection Amy. I did that throughout Christmas while my boys and family were with us. I read, laughed, ate, drank and breathed. It’s been wonderful hope your Christmas was filled with new peace. Hugs and Happy New Year.

    1. I am, Cheryl, I am. I’m beginning to get a wee itchy so I know that is a sure sign my Heart will be speaking to me to again start posting. In the meantime, I relax as much as possible. I’m reading as well, one of my fav past times. I’ve taken many walks and in fact plan on doing that today. Should prove to be interesting because it has begun to snow. May your have a Happy New Year and may 2019 bring much Love your way! (((HUGS)))! 💝💝💝

    1. Oh wow, Helen!! Beautiful feedback to the which I am SO grateful to you for! I LOVE hearing stuff like this which just spurs me on even more strongly to improve and try new. I’ve really been focusing on composition and learning how to really let the image “talk” in the editing room as to what it wants. May your 2019 bring to you much happiness, health, and much much LOVE with your dreams just one after the other coming true. BIG (((HUGS))) XOXO

    1. Thank you, Irene. This year we had a very quiet day, opting to stay at home due to our Max just recently going to the Rainbow Bridge. Many cats in this house are clearly grieving and get so upset for the time being when either of us are out of the house much.

Thank you regarding my pictures. Something in me broke when my Mom died and then with that breaking my photography has flown sky high. SO glad you noticed! (((HUGS))) Amy 💞

      1. I’m sorry, that Max left for now, but I know, that he had the best life in your family ❤
When we are able to leave our past or parts of it, we give space for other parts, which is clearly to see in your beautiful photos, dear Amy.
        Much love to you ❤

    1. Happy New Year to you! I know you are new to WP so this I will say to you. Gaining an audience entails a lot of work and a lot of time. Asking others to follow you is really not a good way to go about it. You have got to go to blogs. You have got to leave comments. You’ve got to do the “knocking on doors”. It took me a LONG time to build my audience, so yes I did put the time in. And once you build your audience you have got to keep them interested by the content you post. I hope this helps and I wish you all the very best!! 😉
