    1. What a way to start MY day, Drew! Your glorious comment just about made me shout with JOY! Thank you for writing what you did! Every image “spoke” to me as my fingers flew of their own accord across the keyboard in order to keep up with what those pictures were saying to me. (Of course I really do have the life experience to understand what I wrote!) I am SO happy you stopped by to see this post and that you enjoyed it so much!! Bless you! 💝

    1. There is always Light, Yoshi. Always. I’ve trained my eyes and Heart to acknowledge the Light. Oh yes I am aware of the dark so no I do not have my head in the sand. We all have choices on how to best live our lives and I choose LIGHT. BIG (((HUGS)))!

    1. Thank you, Shweta. All of us need encouragement especially when Life beats us up, or does its best to do so. I’ve had a very tough go of things of late yet I still will not allow the hardships to destroy me. When I was out this day photographing these images, I felt like a child at play. I just had so much fun finding treasures in the way I did. BIG (((HUGS)))! Don’t quit! 💞

    1. Why thank you, GF! I’m just so happy you meandered on by to view my post. As you can see I am managing to have fun, despite the hardships I’ve been through of late. Then my Muse stepped up to the plate and hit 9 home runs with each and every image. Wowza! Have great day!! 💝

    1. My Muse is getting louder, Rob! Every time She appears and I surrender to Her, what unfolds is Bliss, Pure Magic! I had SO much fun on the day I took these pictures feeling like a kid on a treasure hunt. Here I was with my new lens, and doing what I absolutely LOVE to do over everything else in life. I did not want to go home and I did not want this experience to end. Then! My Muse again surprised me by whipping out words to each image that literally had my jaw dropping. I LOVE this artist process! And I’m so intrigued by it as well. Happy Saturday, Rob!! 😘😘😘

    1. Thank you, Dan, ever so kindly. Yes that bridge is probably my favorite, or one of them at the very least. It was fascinating to shoot on a day when the sky was about the same brightness as the snow. It was so cool and I felt as if I were a kid just playing. I’m learning so much about how to shoot, composition, and with what accessories to use to gain the very best out of each shot. Of course anyone can do filters and such in PS but I like to do all that jazz with the originals. Putting thought into what I am doing now for when I step into the professional world. (smile) ☺️

    1. You know, Bernie, for years I couldn’t stand the cold and snow. Lately I’m having a blast outside and the cold air actually smells and feels so good. Talk about making a 180 degree turnaround! LOL 🤗

  2. Thanks Amy for your wonderful and thought-provking words! I love the images too – perfectly placed. Turns out I need to walk on that bridge – I have a decision to make before the morning – so perfect timing with these images!! Thanks my friend! Much love, Donna

    1. Isn’t it way cool when things like that happen, Donna? Words or direction you require synchronistically just come your way. SO glad that you found that with my post. I LOVE this new lens and am just thrilled that Max thought of Mommy. I think this is the best lens I have. I am stunned by what it can do! YOU are very welcome for this post! Good luck with your decision! (((HUGS)))! 💞

  3. That was just beautiful, Amy. ❤
Such truths and wonderful photos. Sadly, I am far too hurried (and often too cold) these days to stop and take it all in. I am grateful for your reminder and this place of pause 🙂

    1. Thank you SO SO much, Joey! All of us are far too hurried too much of the time and I am just so blessed that my camera slows me down. We ALL need a reminder to slow down and pause and reflect. The pace of this world is nutso crazy!! (((HUGS)))! 💖

    1. Aw, Debbie, thank you so much for gracing my blog with your presence. I must focus on the Good, the Beautiful, the Light so I may keep on shining through the many challenges life presents in my life. I am seeing Miracles right now happening all because of the years of devotion I have given in not giving up to be able to live the LIFE I have always dreamed of living. I SO agree about the Rumi quote!! LOVE it!! 💖

  5. Hi Amy. It was a joy to see your images of a winter wonderland. I was especially intrigued by your capture of the wind. Interesting effect. Very painterly. Hope the Christmas holidays warm your heart with blessings. ❤

    1. Thank you, Olga. The image you described of the wind I actually played around with in PS to create a wind effect. Bless you for the Christmas cheer. I intend to have a very wonderful Christmas this year. XOXO
