What Is Love?

  1. absolutely beautiful reflections on love! beautifully tied together with perfect photos. I love the opening paragraph as well….. What is Love? For as many people whose hearts beat at this moment, that is how many definitions multiplied by infinity exist for the question, “What is Love?”

    1. Thank you, Jodi, so so much! What is LOVE to one person perhaps is not to another person. There are so many definitions of Love and to each individual Love means something different. If we all can come to this way of thinking, perhaps we would not be so quick to jump to conclusions or point a finger at another, thinking in our own self-righteousness, that we know Love and the other person does not. These are just some of my thoughts that I’m sharing with you, so please don’t take what I have said here personally. I am speaking to the whole as I write this to you. May you have a very blessed and wonderful day today! 💕😎🌹😚💕

    1. Thank you, Scott! I’m really not sure what Fall is doing this year. I’m just doing my very best to catch the color when I see it. So happy you enjoyed this post! Have a great day today! 💕🎃💕

    1. Thank you so much!! I LOVE the scintillating smells and sights of Autumn. And this year I’m really enjoying the cooler temps after a very hot summer we had here. Bless you for viewing this post and for commenting. Have a great day!! 💕😁🌹💕

  2. I suppose one can find love in a great many things we do or see or feel. If I had to wrap it all up in one word I would say it is peace, for when we have peace( within ourselves or the world) we do not suffer the pain of chaos or hate….Love the pics AR…And of course the babies! They look wonderful and healthy from love 🙂 Hugs and love to you…VK ❤

    1. I agree, VK. Without peace we cannot in no way shape or form, experience LOVE. It is from my experience that when we focus on those things that bring us the feeling of peace and of Love, our life and our daily day, tend to go a whole lot better. Thank you for noticing how happy and healthy our babies do look. Some of those very same babies are declining and not in really good health, but, they are most certainly LOVED! Big hugs and much Love to you this day! 💕😚🌹💕

    1. Thank you, Dan! Our cats are LOVED and that is without a doubt. Looking at them you would not even know that some of them are really struggling with some pretty serious problems. The Love shows through, not the problems. Bella is the only exception to the rule. She’s really having a rough time right now and if this continues you and I both know what decision lies ahead of us. I hope you are having a great day today! 🌹😁💕

    1. Ohhhhhh, Michele. What a comment!! Bless your Heart! I so agree with you on your thoughts about Love …. yes, understanding of another’s Heart. Excellent and thank you for sharing! If it were not for my Cat Care Clinic and all the “work” that is involved, I would be traveling and writing books or columns and of course taking many many pictures. Much Love to you!! 💞🐾💞

  3. Thanks Amy for sharing your love with us in your photos of Mother and your family!! A picture is worth a thousand words! Love is expressed through many mediums maybe because it’s hard to put into words – though poets try! I can see and feel “love” in your photography. Getting caught up in the beauty and connection of the Presence and sharing (no matter the “weather”) with an open heart – is love to me. Always a joy stopping by here!! Much love! Donna

    1. You’ve been busy. You’ve changed your blog, Donna. You are very welcome for me sharing the Love. Yes it is hard to put into words … And I do agree about poets when it comes to Love. I also, being a very visual person, see Love in Mother and then am able to capture that love through my medium, my camera. I Love what you said … “Getting caught up in the beauty and connection of the Presence and sharing (no matter the “weather”) with an open heart – is love to me.” Thank you for the share! SO happy you did stop by. Bless you and Much Love to you!! 💞🐾💞

    1. Thank you, Celestine. No words is good. That means you have been “touched” right where it counts. As for my babies … I work very hard to keep both this house as clean as possible as well as these cats. Their diet contributes hugely as to how they look. Thank YOU for noticing the care I put into this special family of mine. Blessings and Much Love to you! XOXO

    1. If you don’t know what Love is, no one can define it for you. It is something you yourself have to experience, and like I said, the definitions of Love are as vast as infinity. My Heart feels so sad you don’t know what Love is. How empty your life must be.

      1. I am not sure what a Class 12 student is but if you say that it takes you a long time to really know and understand, then I get that. Over time and with experience, your life will show you what Love is. Big hugs to you! ?💕😚💕

  4. So many pretty kitties! I want to pick Charlie up and give him a great big bear hug, lol! My big boy is 13 pounds, so 18 is like adding my smallest cat to him!
This post was lovely, and the photos illustrated it beautifully.

    1. LOL@Joey. Sorry, Joey, but Charlie is the furthest thing from a cuddly lap cat. He’s also not too big in picking him up either. This guy is so gentle and so adorable yet he has maintained his “wild beginnings” so does not like to be messed with unless it is on HIS terms. I can get him to come to me when I am laying on the floor and then I can put my hands all over him. THANK YOU for the compliments on this post. I told Charlie about you and he just rolled over on his stomach looking at me upside down as if to say … Is she kidding? LOL Too much!!! 🐾😂🐾

  5. I Loved the reflection of the tree in the water below!! Of course all your pictures you know that 🙂 You have perfectly captured Love in words and view, my heart is so full – Love is just such pure infinite joy and like you say simple and easy.

    1. That is my favorite too!! I LOVE reflections and the “mirage” that can be created with them. THANK YOU for your lovely words that make me in turn have a huge smile on my face and in my Heart. Yes, Love is infinite JOY. I really do know this as do you!! XOXO 😘

    1. Anita, I am so very happy you came by to enjoy this post. That gallery represents my babies who are very very Loved. IF we do not “know” what Love is, we don’t recognize it as such. May your day be filled with Love! 💝

    1. I’m more or less stuck on the evil part of this comment. Just to kid about evil when it comes to Love leaves me scratching my head in complete confusion. Love has no part of evil and vice versa. I appreciate the fact you think this is an excellent post, one that is straight from my Heart. Thank you.
