      1. Aw, Holly. Bless you! I’m going deeper and at this point I really have to pull it out of me and then work it. My photography as well is changing. THANK YOU for the encouraging words!! SOOOOO appreciate them!!! 😘

  1. Absolutely beautiful, Amy. Now spring is really, really here, just because you posted photos of daffodils!

And look! I found you this morning. Sleep sure works wonders for exhausted brains — as well as for the brainless! I took mine out to play with it one too many times!

    1. Spring yes is here yet still so odd this year. I haven’t been here at WP for a while being so involved with my gardens. This post came about from a very deep place within me. I would just love to chill yet I was directed to be here with what I created. Good to know you are getting sleep. Send some my way as I seem to be having some temporary difficulties. Much Love to you, Angie! 💝

      1. I wish I could send some sleep your way. I’m an insomniac from way back so I know what sleep deprivation can do to the system. About all I can do is pray that you will be able to sleep soon, because I’ve found in my own life that nothing else works. Tried pills once but really bad results with blackouts and temporary amnesia. I once went shopping while asleep. The only way I know this is because when I woke the next morning my living room was full of shopping bags I hadn’t bothered to open after getting home. Didn’t remember anything at all about the drive — just got cold chills thinking about what could have happened if it had been a busy street. Threw those things out and will never try another one. One thing that sometimes helps though, is lavender spray on your pillow. Very soothing and has a calming effect. Aromatherapy is my answer to it all now.
This is still odd around here — another flood advisory in effect for the next several days. The ground is already so saturated from all the rain we’ve had this year. Mother is getting tired of us trying to completely destroy what was given so freely. Trees around here have been destroyed so concrete trees could take their place. Ugly creations, and not at all good for the environment. Much love to you Amy. ❤ ❤ ❤

      2. Angie, it’s been a rough go since my Mom’s death. I have yet to recover fully and I’m not sure if I will. Let’s just say I fell off a cliff which affected every part of me and to which I have been valiantly fighting to bring back to stability. Thank goodness I’m getting my diet squared away after suddenly becoming allergic to almost everything under the sun. Something major broke when I lost my Mom. In order to get me as healthy as possible, I’m at the moment putting pieces back together again. Now that I’m getting the right nutrition I’ve begun to sleep much better. Bless you for your concern. Yes I do have lavender and thank you for the reminder. I’m getting a sachet out from my armoire today to put on my pillow. I grow lavender and make sachets with it.

So agree with you regarding this weather. It’s been extremely odd here. I think Mother Earth is getting really tired of how she has been abused and is now attempting to bring Balance. Mankind has not been kind to Her whatsoever.

May you have a great Sunday today. I believe I will be going for a walk in one of my parks. I need a break from my gardens. Much Love to you! 🌹

      3. I’m not sure I’ll ever get over my mom’s death either, Amy! Mostly because she never missed an opportunity to tell me how much she never wanted me and how much she hated me! Her last words to me were “Get out of here and take all your junk with you!”. Each time I see the end of that pain something happens to slam me back to reality! I never heard her say she loved me, no hugs, nothing! Yet I loved her so much and miss her like crazy! I still cry, even after three years and wish I could go back and try again to find out why she hated me so much.
Have a great walk and wonderful Sunday! I’m sorry I dumped like that. It’s not a good time for mej

    1. Aw, GF, thank you so so much! I really poured my everything into this. The words came yet I really had to work for them, and then knowing I needed pictures, I just shot what caught my eye. Amazing process, one that to this day I am in awe of!! SO happy you enjoyed this post today! It feels good to be here even if for this one post until I have to get back into my gardens. I’m about 1/2 done! OH YAY!! Much Love to you! 😘

    1. I’m not finished yet, Dan. I have about 1/2 more to do. I am stunned how rapidly everything all at once is flowering. Instead of stages like it is supposed to be, everything is going nuts and boom! This has been a very strange Spring. We have yet to have leaves on our trees! And these high winds are still blowing …. Just so glad you got to see what is now showing itself in my gardens. 💝

    1. Thank you, Sreejith. Those buds were taken yesterday from my sugar maple tree. The leaves finally are beginning to show. This being May and all, it is extremely odd we still do not have foliage on our trees here. It’s been a very harsh Spring and to see green finally brings such great relief to my soul! Much Love to you this day! 💝

    1. Oh, Donna!! Thank you ever so kindly! I SO appreciate your enthusiasm and compliments. Yes I’ve been hard at work in my gardens, about 1/2 way through, if not more so. I don’t believe you have ever seen the extent of them …. take my word there are a lot! I am SO happy you are happy with this post … I’m stunned by the rapid growth everything is displaying instead of in stages. And then because this Winter was so cold and long some of my established plants are not coming back, which means I must replace them with something else. One of them is my Azalea bush! That is a big loss! This Spring has had everyone and everything confused! Much Love to you!! 💖

    1. VK, everything is popping up simultaneously instead of in stages. What should long ago be gone are still here and the second “stage” of Spring, and even the third stage, are being seen along with the still here first stagers that shouldn’t be. Confused? Everything is! This Spring has been nuts! The weather, the wicked winds, crazy temps, our trees still don’t even have leaves! The 3rd picture in this series is from our sugar maple tree yesterday! The “green” is just now peeping out with leaves still yet to be seen. I won’t be able to keep up with my camera and keep opening gardens as well. Blogging? Am I kidding myself? I just HAD to be here today because I needed to be plus what I created needed to be seen. SO happy you enjoyed this post. It was so very worth the effort I put into creating it. Thank you for your beautiful feedback. (((HUGS))) 💝

      2. Dearest friend, I have not been here either so I really did not even miss your absence. I myself have been so involved with my Gardens and this year I have decided I can only do Gardens and not blogging at the same time. So when I take a break or need a rest or when it rains, I blog. I hope everything is all right in your world. Big hugs!

      3. Then I am glad to hear that. My move went well and aside from some things to be organized and done at the new place I have settled quickly. I love my new place. After my 3-weeks break I will start posting again on Monday😊

      4. I don’t know how much longer I’ll be in my gardens, Erika, so if you don’t see me around you know why. It’s just too difficult being here and doing this very hard labor at the same time. I’ve done it before in years previous, but not this year. I’m SO glad for you about your move!! 😎

    1. Mark, you have NO idea how everything is coming forth at once instead of in stages. This Spring has been so odd with the first evidence of Spring still here which should have been long gone, among the second and third stages …. I know my garden and I know what to expect but this year, forget it! I’m confused! As is Mother! I am stunned by how fast everything is flowering except for the trees, which still have no leaves. The 3rd picture in this series is our sugar maple taken just yesterday with the new green buds just now being seen. Never have I witnessed this mass confusion! I just spoke to someone today mentioning how terrible it is not to see leaves yet and said how I am planning on hugging trees when the leaves are finally here. Her response … you won’t be alone! I’m very fortunate to be here today … my Inner Guidance pointed me in this direction even though I have about 1/2 yet to finish in my gardens. I needed this. Thank you for leaving me such a wonderful comment. Bless you, dear friend!! 💝

    1. Yes, Eliza, it really IS here. Yet the confusion that reigns right now with the proper succession progress all a muck! Everything is coming up at once instead of in stages. May you have a great weekend!! 😎

  2. Stunning. Beautiful. Diverse. Three adjectives which are seldom used together to describe a series of photos – but something you have mastered here. Wonderful work, Amy. In addition to these excellent shots, you have prose that dances around the subjects you have here for a perfect duet. Wishing you a great weekend.

    1. To have received such high praise from you, Randall, leaves me stunned, humbled, and in awe. I consider you to be a phenomenal artist as is witnessed by your jaw dropping work. So to adequately explain to you what your words meant to me I highly doubt if I can even begin to form the words. A simple thank you seems far from adequate … Deeply grateful I am to you. Your words mean more to me than I can possibly even describe. You truly have made my day! Bless you! 🦋🥀🌹

    1. Resa, I am so deeply honored by your comment. Only another artist would recognize the work and effort put into something such as this post. Yet, compared to this post to your gowns this is only a drop of water in a big bucket in my opinion. The work that you do, the photography, your writing, your gorgeous gorgeous gowns, you are an extremely talented artist and for you to say what you did puts me in awe. Thank you from the bottom of my Heart! To receive praise from an another artist who I consider one of a kind is to me the highest praise possible. Much Love to you! BIG HUGS!! 🌹🌱🥀🌸

      1. OMG! Thank you for recognizing me as an artist. The “Art Gowns” are art. You get it! I’m so happy!
The new Art Gown is almost finished. She has taken a long … well… soon come!time, as painting the fabric is involved. She’ll be done in 10 days. Then there is taking the pics, editing, writing the post. Well soon come! xoxo

      2. Why would I not get it, Resa? Of course I get it! In my book you are an exceptionally talented artist in ways that many of us could not even begin to fathom. Why is it that we artists rarely ever do think highly of ourselves? Sad but true… I so look forward in seeing your latest gown! I cannot wait! You rock! 👏👏👏👏
