    1. Enjoy, Donna, going HOME. If the winds stay calm today I just may myself go for a walk as well. I still have yet to try out my other new lens. Much Love to you this day, dear friend. 💕🦋💕

    1. Well, Dan, it’s like this. Even though I am powerful in my own right, Mother Nature still out-powers me. This cold and these damaging winds along with SNOW are just about making me crawl the walls. Oh yes I agree this pond does need Spring! It’s a good thing I got out into this forest when I did because since then the weather has been horrible. Hope you are having a wonderful day today. Stay warm! 🤗

    1. Oh wow, thank you! Firstly I have an exceptionally good camera and lens which took an exceptional picture. And then I played in Photoshop getting the effect that you see here that I wanted. I am thrilled you really enjoyed this image because I really did put a lot of effort into it to make it look as it does here. Come to think of it I should have posted the original photograph so a comparison could have been made. I think I will do that the next time I play around in Photoshop. May you have a great day today! 💕🦋💕

  3. Amy, your photography made into art through your magical processing in Photo shop is simply amazing! It is your gift from God, truly Divine. I am thankful for your sharing this with the serenity of love and home. Thank you, my lovely Amy. 😘💞🤗

  4. My dear Amy!
I am completely in love with your photos, especially the birds in this particular visit. I have come to expect a cavalcade of floral glory when I visit “Petals Unfolding”, however, I have flown away with the birds. Wow!
Poor Bella! You have done well with nursing her back to health.
Yes, our health is as important as our kitties’ health. I too, am post-meno, but my doctor rolls with me. I am on a high calcium diet, all natural, no pill supplements. Did you know post-meno women who take supplements are 32% higher risk for heart attacks and strokes? Stay natural, stay free, stay! 🌹🦄🌹💝🌹

    1. Resa, I have begun to expand my field of photography, little by little. I’m learning SO much and often times ask myself if it is worth capturing these birds because not only are they challenging to photograph, but to edit as well. In other words for right now they are much more work for me. Perhaps this is because I am learning something new …. I LOVE the thrill and challenge of getting a bird in clear focus. So, I’ll just continue. I actually shot a Great Blue Heron today! I still have to see if the pics came out …. I have to crop in very closely … and due to shooting conditions I had to shoot on a low shutter speed …. not what you want to do when shooting birds. It was either that or loose my opportunity to capture a Gift. (smile)

My Bella looks so good and I am one very relieved Mom!

You alerted me with your words about supplements. I take supplements BUT they are not synthesized but with all ingredients from a food source. They in of themselves are referred to as food. That heart attack and stroke stat has me on alert now. Darn! I really thank you for this information! I am running with it to find out what is best for me. Did you know that statins put a post-menopausal woman at risk for a first heart attack and diabetes? Medicine in this case is not for me, yet …. I am checking on my supplements very carefully. Bless you for sharing that information. SO much to know in order to stay healthy. (((HUGS))) 😘

      1. {{{HUGS))) I would not take statins!!!
Honest, Amy, sometimes i see these ads for medications, and when I hear about all of the potential side effects….which sometimes include cancer and death… I think… why not just deal naturally with the illness. None of us will live forever. That’s a guarantee. Yet, the “medical industry” seems to lure people into a false sense of health… even implying immortality if we take their medical solutions. It’s all about their money, and not our health.

      2. I could not agree more with you and everything you say here, Resa. No one has immortality and when your time has come let it be. As for the calcium supplements, you may have saved my life. From today onward I am taking no more calcium. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! Now I have to do some research to make sure that I get enough calcium from my foods. BIG HUGS!!!! 💝💝💝

      3. It brings great relief to my Heart knowing there are other women besides myself who are saying no to statins. Bless you, dear friend. And again I cannot thank you enough for bringing the calcium and vitamin D to my attention. Here I am thinking of doing a good thing for me and I could have been setting myself up for my death. There is just so much to know because we are not being told up front by those who should be guiding us in our health.😙😙😙
