As I was editing this image of a tiny white Crocus in PS, no larger then a quarter the size of my pinkie if that, my eyes were drawn to something I could not see with my naked eye. My jaw dropped. I had to at least try to crop in really tight to see if I could possibly get an image that shows you what I saw. Ready? Have you observed this entire picture? Did you see ??? …..
… the minuscule drop of water, embracing what looks to be something no larger then then a whisper of hair??? And the white object to the right and below the drop of water, is one, and I mean one, flake of snow that fell as I was photographing this. Are you comprehending how tiny everything is in this picture? All I kept saying and still am saying, “Oh my God!” Yes, you, all of us, are seeing GOD through Mother. What a Masterpiece!
On the white Crocus nearest you is seen the actual imprint of the dirt in its petal. How unbelievable is this???? That ground is frozen as well!
The “white” in the background is snow. How do these flowers grow in this frigid environment?
Take a really good look at the jungle these sweet but so tough Crocuses have to push their way through just to be seen! Can you imagine them for one second giving up? How were they made to have such a steely strong instinct to grow even with obstacles and cold and snow in the way? Do they give up? No!
And here is something else. In order to get these shots you see today, I had to lay on the ground. Friends, it is darn cold to do that so I made sure I had a yoga mat under me as I lay there. Focusing with everything I have to get one of these shots, I heard a car pull into our driveway.
Turning my head I saw to my surprise a white car, one that I did not recognize. I thought to myself the driver was using our driveway to turn around. But wait! To my astonishment, a man opened the driver door and asked if I was OK. He said he saw me laying on the driveway and looked like I might need help. Now get this! The speed limit on our street is 40 mph (64 km), with most people flying at about 50 (80 km).
I laid there stunned! Oh my gosh! This man probably saw me, slowed down, turned around and came back the way he had come just in order to make sure I wasn’t hurt. Whoa! When is the last time you saw anyone stopping to ask if a person who looked like they were having trouble, was all right? Blown away in spades I was! I reassured him I was fine, showing him my camera and explaining I was shooting flowers in my garden. I laughed as I explained!
(Probably under other circumstances I wouldn’t have laughed seeing the concern on this man’s face. I was a bit “high” in flower land.)
I thanked that man profusely for his concern and later on prayed I did not give him a huge scare. Another random act of kindness towards me! I’ve become a kindness magnet! Wow!
The LOVE I have been feeling and seeing lately in the “real world” is something I have dreamed of for more years than I can say. Is it possible that the tide is turning, that people are actually done with the dark that has had this world in its nasty grip, by bringing themselves around to Love? Oh my goodness!!! Miracles do happen, as both my photography and my testimony with absolute confidence testify as being the Truth.
