  1. Hi Amy,

very deep post. You always find a wonderful picture to explain post on the best possible way.
I like a gym and I like to train, and that chain remind me always on gym.It is very strange how we notice small signs of kindness. It seems that we live in a rough era.

    1. Hi, Ben! I’ve been in a gym since my 20’s so yes I do know what I’m doing. I go through stages when I stop going to the gym and lately have gone back to it. (OUCH!) I do like watching others, picking up tips on how to tweak something or change something. I’m very serious in my workouts and it seems peeps are noticing. I AM DOING THIS!!! And thank you for your kind compliment on my post!! Much Love to you this day! 🌹

    1. LOL Truthfully I usually am so focused on my workout I barely am aware of who is working out around me. It was nice to be standing there, something I normally do not do. I was so Blessed by this young man’s kindness towards me. May you have a great day today, Baffledmum! 🌹

    1. Absolutely, Rob! Random acts of kindness go so far! I have seen a huge turnabout in this gym just from last year. Last year all I saw were these young chickies walking around in these skimpy outfits, most of the men hitting on them, and everybody more involved in their phones then in working out. Lately however, I am seeing serious working out and truly no hit a upons are happening, at least not when I go. I think things are turning around and we are getting back to decent respect between people. Much Love to you today and good luck with those tummy burners! 💕🌸💕

    1. Aw, Holly. You’re making me blush again. I don’t go around looking for others to notice how I look. I just am who I am and do what I do. Yet when something like this happens, I’m so touched. You know the stigma in this country regarding age. I’ve just proven today it’s hogwash! Have a great day today and much Love to you!! 😘🌹💖

    1. This young man gave me at first a start then such gratitude came. The difference I am observing in this same gym from last year is huge. The crowd has gone from “a pick up joint” and one more focused on phones, to the present day where people are really working out, focused and really into it. YES! I even saw a man bring out chalk to bench press with. I mean WOW! I haven’t seen this in years! I really believe I am seeing a turnaround for the better of humankind, Donna. I am thrilled!!! 🤗👏🏼🤗

      2. It’s like …. pinch me! This world I am now walking in is ablaze with Love and Kindness and Pure Joy! I’ve walked for years giving giving giving Love yet really not seeing reciprocation in the “real world”. I’ve seen it here, yes! But in the world? I’m bedazzled! Just bedazzled!!! 🤗

  2. I have gone to gyms to do work outs. I always dropped out due to anxiety. If I had someone help me like you did, I might have been inspired to continue lol! I work out off and on a few months st a time, but I do it from my home. I dont have the equipment I’d like to have but it is enough. Such a cute story you shared today. I have been working out steady since Jan 1st. I hope I stick with it this time. It feels so good to work out, makes me wonder why I stopped.

    1. Frazzled, I’ve been in a gym since my 20’s. I learned/taught myself. I bought books and I observed closely what others were doing around me. As time went on and I gained friends because I attended so often they showed me new ways to work certain body parts. When I returned to the gym recently after being away for a while, I felt intimidated because of how out of shape I was compared to my norm, and all these young things walking around in very revealing gym clothes. I refused to allow anyone or anything to deter me. What I described here today in my post was a random act of kindness. I knew what to look for yet this man insisted on doing it for me. I encourage you keep working out. Stick with it! You will not regret it!! Much Love! 💖💖💖

      1. Strange. I have lost 16 lbs since jan. 1st. I am sticking to my healthy eating lifestyle. I am now down to 134 from 150. My goal originally was 120 but I’m not sure if I will go that low.

      2. Frazzled, gauge your weight by how you feel. I know where my danger weight lies at. You may not wish to go as low as 120. Just take this as it unfolds. You are doing so good!! Remember, you are a unique person whose optimum weight is where you feel most healthy at. High five!! 🤗

  4. I can’t comment on the gym experience since I’m such a slug. But I do want to comment on the photo, which is awesome, as usual. Sometimes it’s good to get away from the norm. I’m thinking of using my new camera for an entire series of photos of “everyday things” (like the shower photo I did previously – it gets a lot of views on Flickr. Yay!). It could be fun finding ordinary objects and making them exciting through the right angles and lighting, don’t you think?

    1. CM, I think that is a really good idea! Do it! You will see the world in a different way! The post before this one was a shot I didn’t even consciously try for …. I got involved in something, looked over and there on my Samsung Camera’s LCD was this image that made my jaw drop. Go find those ordinary objects and create magic from them!!! YES!!! I applaud you!!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

    1. I agree about this young man, Dan. And yes the gym as it always has, is certainly agreeing with me. My sore muscles can attest to that!!! LOL Since I worked legs yesterday there is no reason for me to not go on my next gym day to do chest, shoulders, biceps, and of course, abs again. Hope you are having a great day today!! Stay warm. Another storm I hear is about to blast us again! (scream!) 🌸🌷🌸

  5. LOL !!! When I first saw the picture I immediately thought about the windshield wiper fiasco and thought maybe we were in for another one of those hilarious tales…This one was warm though and it always feels so good when someone takes the time to offer help in some way. Nice 🙂 Glad he did that for you. Have a happy snow day AR….

    1. I’m laughing as I write this!! Ya never know what will come forth from me. Heck I don’t even know! LOL And yes, those acts of random kindness touch so deeply and are oft not forgotten. This is not the only act of kindness I’ve seen lately, VK, which is beginning to get my attention. Could it be that the Greater Consciousness of mankind is changing for the better???? I’ve dreamed for so long of living in a world where LOVE is the state that all live from. And as for snow …. the last I heard beginning tonight we are in for 6-18 inches of the white stuff. Good that I got me outside today to take the pics that you will soon see here. Have a great day and stay warm!! (((HUGS))) 💖

  6. This young man was very thoughtful. It doesn’t need a lot to make this world a better place. Just walking through the day with open eyes and (most of all) an open heart gives you endless possibilities to show others that they are important! Thank you for sharing this story. There is so much love in this world. It is the little things that weave the net between us. 💖

  7. beautiful. one small, quick, act of kindness….. and LOOK, where it has gone! that man – has NO idea how he has inspired others around the world to also, make a mark today for kindness…all Because He DID.
now….. same could be said for each of us, in turn and how we could inspire someone around the world we do not know and will never know.
that is a wow Amy. Thank YOU. so much. ❤

    1. Debi, you put tears in my eyes. Your words resounded the world round, for they just shout their message so strong! I honestly was in such a haze, one that I call when I work out, focused and zeroed on nothing but what I do, I probably couldn’t even identify this young man again if I saw him to tell him what HE did. WOW! He so inspired me and touched me so deeply. My face probably showed my intense surprise for what he did and I know my heartfelt and loud thank you certainly did! YOU are so welcome for this post! It is my pleasure and it is an honor to show the world via my blog what real LOVE looks like in real life. Bless you, Debi, from the bottom of my Heart! YOU are awesome!!! (((HUGS)))! 💞

    1. Helen, I’ve been so focused on getting back into shape and staying that way. As you know, life was so tough for me and in all the Hospice Care I gave to Rocky on top of everything else, I had nothing left over. Believe it or not, I have another kindness story coming tomorrow, one that is even more unbelievable then this one you read. You sound like you are in a good space! Good for you! Both have us have chosen LIFE!!! (((HUGS))) Amy 💞
