  1. Hi Amy,

wow.Great philosophical questions. We know nothing. Who we are ? What we are ? Where are we ? A million questions without answer. We are here, in our small planet, in the middle of nowhere . We know nothing about the universe, right.

    Great pictures Amy.
I know, that I know nothing, but that is a knowledge too 🙂

    1. Ben, when we acknowledge we truly do know nothing, that is when we become wise. I know in my own personal walk, the more I know, the more I realize I don’t know. It’s humbling. Very!

I’m having so much fun with my little camera. This camera may be small but it is a dynamo. It is SO much easier then carrying my heavy Canon!! I’m thrilled you enjoyed my images! Have a great day today!!! Much Love! 💖💖💖

  2. I so appreciated this thoughtful and mystical post today, Amy — the poetry, your gorgeous photos, the theme. When we come to a perfect arch in the river, blanketed by the hush of snow, surrounded by melting ice…we can choose to see it and walk on, or we can choose to embrace its gift and learn from it and share it. Thanks so much, my friend, for choosing to smile and enjoy the sweetness of life, and for bringing us this gift today.

    1. Jet, I am so happy that you got so much from out of this post. The beauty that I saw yesterday when I walked through this Forest just took my breath away. And it really really made me think about life. I am choosing to see and to live from the perspective of light and good. I know this is not possible at all times but for the majority of my life this is what I do. And if I can Inspire others to choose the same, then I have done well. May you have a wonderful day! Much Love to you! 💕🌹💕

  3. Loveky post Amy. Life is an adventure. It’s all about the journey because we all know the destination. You are having a true adventure and so am I. You are doing a better job at journally yours. 😛. No one knows what tomorrow brings. I often hear people say they don’t want any regrets. Well, I think that’s grand but for the most part impossible as human beings. Your photograph is perfect as well as beautiful in context with your words. Sending huge hugs 🤗 🌹

    1. Thank you, Scott! I even got hubby in on this one saying to him you just have to see this because you won’t believe your eyes! I honestly stood on that spot staring at the scene before me just in awe. The water was like glass because there was no wind yesterday so it was a perfect mirror. I am having so much fun lately! Much Love to you this day! 💕🌹💕

  4. Maybe there are ducks about to get married under the arch of the branch in the first photo. The world is mine to imagine, right? The second photo at first glance doesn’t look mirrored. It looks like ground, then cliff, then more ground where trees are growing, the pond being a cliff. My eyes are playing tricks on me. It’s amazing what you can make that camera do! It’s one of those illusion photos. You sre a great photographer!

    1. Hi, Frazzled! I like the thought of two ducks getting married under that Arch. Good for you for adding on to this post! And as for the Illusion in the second one, yes it is amazing I do agree! That is why I stood there for a long time contemplating upon things. It is truly amazing what I see with these eyes of mine every time I go out into a forest. I am so thrilled you enjoyed these photographs and I thank you from the bottom of my Heart for your compliment! I am having so much fun. It is such a joy to carry a little light camera compared to my heavy Canon. May you have a wonderful day today! Much Love to you! 💖🌸🌻💖

I want green and I want flowers and I’m going to get those very things, thank you very much! And I do thank you by the way, for your comment on my photography. I am having so much fun lately! 7. Hi Amy 🙂 Thank you for letting me see the beautiful photos of your woods!! ❤ Reflections are both interesting and pretty.:-) Snow, snow and more snow. 🙂 It only snowed a little here yesterday and then froze so have to watch my feet! If it is going to snow, then what better way to appreciate the experience than out with the camera? Or a good book or a nap. 🙂 Love and blessings to you and stay warm! ❤ ❤ ❤

    1. Oh, Sarah, you are so very welcome!! I have more images coming from this most sacred walk! The forecast does have snow in it here too as well, and I must sigh. I have a FEELING that warmth will be hear with a BANG. One moment snow … the next, FLOWERS! Today I was going to the gym but have decided to just do this and that around the house. I have one more book left to read and then back to the library I go. Once I start opening my gardens, forget it. I will have barely any time to sneeze much less read. LOL Much Love to you this day! 💖💖💖

  8. The pictures are amazing how the reflection gives a different view on what we call reality. I love your thoughts which came up when you looked at the scenery. Actually, the fact that we don’t know everything already or that a truth we seem to know can unfold into a deeper truth or a bigger picture is what makes life interesting. What makes life interesting is the potential for growth. When we stop growing we stop living.

    1. Erika, when I saw these scenes I was rooted in place. I was just in awe of what I was seeing! No we don’t know everything. In fact, the more I do know, the less I realize I do know. Ironic but true nonetheless. I am thrilled you really looked at this images. There is SO much in both of these that I could personally look and look for a LONG time. Which I do! LOL Never stop growing, dear friend!! I won’t either!! Much Love to you! 💖💖💖

  9. The first picture is a classic theme, which you handled with aplomb. Beautiful. The second picture speaks to me. My eye and my memories follow through the forest. Directly back, then toward the right, and back left following the snow covered path farther and even to the far left before exiting the frame.

  10. Hey Amy!! Awesome words and incredible photos!! I love the effects of the falling snow – it makes the water look painted – you know what I mean. There are great colors from it – incredible!! I can see the analogy clearly too, the arch and the mirror – almost as it makes a complete circle with the reflection, on the outside it looks like we can see what lies beneath the surface, but it is only a reflection! Really we can’t see what lies beneath – like life! I’d like to start taking pictures with a nice camera and yours sounds great. If I looked up Samsung Galaxy 2 – is that enough or is there a model number? Thanks Amy – much love to you!!

    1. Beautiful, Catherine!! We can choose what we want to see. There are times in life seeing the “whole” picture is too overwhelming. I just had this conversation yesterday with my sis. Instead of looking at the mountain in front of us, focus on the foothills and start with one step.

And thank you regarding my photography. I am having a lot of fun lately with this dynamo of a camera!!! Much Love to you this day! 💞☺️💞

  13. These are my favorite kind of pictures! The exact reflections convey clarity to me. Absolutely gorgeous pictures Amy.
Knowing that we don’t know much about life really and how much goes in the perfection of its design that we are simply to follow as led through it- does bring a child like wonder in us. Haha you are accused of not taking life seriously and I am told “You just don’t get it, you don’t get how hard life is” – I never have an answer for that 🙂 Much Love dear Amy.

    1. Prag, I do not divulge too often if at all the extent of the responsibilities I carry. Take my word for it, they are many and they very well have to do with life and death at times. In order to survive and to maintain a child-like frame of mind, I have turned to Mother many times and song and silliness. It also helps that I have many opportunities to get down on the floor and play with my cats. I thought life was difficult when younger. Huh. For me it only has increasingly become more challenging. Yet, I walk with a spring in my step, a smile on my face, and I consistently aspire to keep Peace in my Heart. No, I don’t hold the answers. No one does. Yet what I have learned I do apply to my life and I do share here as well. Don’t let those who have lost their sense of humor pull you down or those who think they know better then you bring doubts to your mind. Follow your Heart. It will not ever lead you wrong! The more you do this, the easier it becomes.

And I thank you most humbly with your compliment on these pictures. I am having so much fun lately, dear friend, carrying this next to nothing in weight camera and seeing what this little dynamo can do. I did have my eyes on an expensive mirrorless camera body BUT seeing the effects of what this camera can do, I am only enjoying for NOW this camera I have. My Mom used to say and her Wisdom I carry to this day …. Use what you have. I’ve come up with some ingenious solutions with that advice.

Hope you have a wonderful day today sprinkled with Much Love!! 💖💖💖

      1. I will take your word Amy, I can only try and imagine, yet I only learn and find inspiration in your work and your words. Keeping the childlike innocence and lightness is a true symptom of living this life in the richness of the moment, rising above all that seems to be seriously real – I do intend and wish to be the same. Truth is I don’t anymore but I haven’t yet recovered my humor fully, I am aware.
USE WHAT YOU HAVE – This such profound wisdom! I totally understand what you mean. It can be used creatively at so many levels 🙂
You keep having the most amazing times ahead!

  14. I think about this almost everyday. What am I? Where am I? What’s the purpose of everything? Questions that will always remain unanswered unless we give them one or we accept the lack of it. Each day I am impressed more and more about the complexity of this life. Each day I am getting curious to discover and to learn as much as it is possible. Time is finite and it is my greatest fear. Will I have enough? Will it ever be enough? Is there peace in death? I don’t know. I just try to appreciate the moment for as long as I will have it, for as long as I will exist. Wonderful post, Amy! Great questions which are worth thinking about from now and then ☺.

    1. D, I’ve been thinking about your comment a lot. I read it yesterday but was too tired to respond appropriately. These questions I posed here and more had me on a quest years ago reading and studying and seeking and searching. I couldn’t learn enough.

Keep the curiosity yet learn to flow with life and allow things to unfold naturally. If we are in a constant state of questioning and asking if this is enough, are we doing enough, are we good enough, we will end up driving ourselves nuts. Time is finite and that is scary at times to grasp because, especially younger, we thought death would not touch us. Again here, don’t keep your eyes on the end but rather stay focused on the NOW and enjoy what you have NOW. Make the most of what you have NOW. If not, you will in retrospect miss out on a whole lot of living.

Yes there is peace in death. I know. I had a NDE in 1984 and this I will not ever forget for the rest of my life. It was such a relief to let go this heavy body (yes it really is heavy!), and to be flooded with naught but Unconditional Love and Peace. Yes there is communication on the other side of the Veil yet it is not verbalized … it is instant. Death of the body brings to the Soul Bliss, a return to our Natural State of Being. HOME.

I hope my words brought some kind of sense to your questioning mind. I truly remember my days of not being able to get satisfied regarding knowing why I was here. I finally let all that go yet this is what is so cool. All that knowledge, all those thousands of hours I spent reading and studying, I have retained because the way I live now, seems to be a culmination of all I learned and more. Everything does work out …. even when circumstances are painful.

May you have a wonderful day today. Much Love to you, D! I really hope I helped you. (((HUGS))) Amy🌹

      1. I agree with you. Asking so many questions is literally driving me nuts. When I was younger I did not even had a thought regarding death. I felt untouchable. I am trying to focus on the now but the thoughts are so hard to control, especially since I started reading a phylosophy book.

So sorry you experienced a NDE. My mind cannot comprehend how this body is as heavy as you explain it to be but I believe you. Peace is something I look for in every aspect of my life and I am struggling to find it. Peace in death and communication on the other side is my greatest wish. I can’t accept nothingness.

Your thoughts have helped me. Thank you so much for sharing your experience with me. I guess I still have a lot to go through in life untill I can find that peace that I am searching. Sorry for replying so late but I have been very busy this month and didn’t want to rush my answer ☺❤🐰.

      2. My NDE changed my life for the BETTER, D. Now I no longer fear death. And it has made me so determined to live life to the fullest ! Peace takes time …. and I still don’t have it on a full time basis. It’s “work” to get there, believe me. So please be gentle on YOU.

I used to read books that gave me even more questions. Now, however, I let my Heart guide me, and have learned to live simply. Trust in me, and making my own life …. sorry if I said this. I honestly have forgotten all that I said. (smile)

Again no apologies. I get it … life can pack a punch sometimes! I’m just glad I could encourage you and help you out. I’m taking my own advice …. something SO mind-boggling just happened (why I could not get here) that the questions are one after the other. So ….. I asked away and IF I don’t get answers, I walk away knowing I will receive those answers somehow, some day. I already received one answer ….. (smile) 🌹🌹

      4. D, just the opposite. Leaving my body was THE most magnificent moment of my life. Bar none. I know you don’t understand and not many do …. And about that peace … YOU create it by what you do, think, and radiate. Yup. True. 🦋🌹🕊
