These tiny flowers
are so full of themselves
they burst through
just to be seen
for who they are.
who they are
having no second thoughts
or confusion or doubts
they show the world
their Wondrous Selves.
Darn good thing I was able to capture these Beauties before the blast of snow returns. Yep, she be here.
Thank goodness only one branch is broken. It could have been a lot worse!
The good news is, however, when March comes in like a lion, it goes out like a lamb! So I’ll take the snow now, thank you very much! For those of you who live in AussieLand that means when the lion roars we get nasty cold snowy weather in the beginning of March. Then when the lamb is mild and meek it will be warm sunny and glorious at the end of March. Understand, Mark?
Between still cleaning seemingly forever behind that eight ball as I catch up, getting back into a set gym routine (I benched 65 pounds yesterday … free weights!),
Me laying on bench press.
failing to control my out-of-control cats who literally are bouncing off the walls and some who are behaving very badly, and involved in a conversation where the language being used was English, yet none-the-less seemed as if two unknown languages were being spoken …. Am I still in the same sentence? …. this week I would classify as challenging. In hindsight, due to the differing emotions and the contrasting perspectives we just did not connect. Very frustrating indeed! Whew!
Wanna know what else happened? My last post I could not get to show in the WP Reader no matter what I did. I contacted WP support and was told that particular post had been published 21 hours previously to the time I was contacting them. I told them that was impossible because just a few minutes ago I pushed the BLUE publish button.
I also pointed out that didn’t they think it odd (when they showed me the published post that did not show on my blog) that there were zero likes and zero comments? Hmmmmmm ….. Trickster WP seems to be skulking around! I had to start a new post (copy and past), add the photos, and then publish. This time that post did show in the Reader. Strange? Did I fall into the Twilight Zone?
My highlight of the week was capturing that Red Tail Hawk (that’s the post I was just chattin’ about) just as he made his move to take his dive for the kill. Now, friends, that is an accomplishment I’m still thrusting my chest out about. Can I say that and still be “politically” correct? Aw, heck with it. I’m me, just like these Crocuses and darn proud of it. Not the kind of pride that goeth before a fall. No not that kind of pride. Pride as in just so darn tooting beaming with Joy that in one shot I got what I aimed to get. Gosh, yep, I’m still bragging.
Well, I hope all you had a good week. I’m not sure what I intend on doing this weekend but one thing is for sure, I’m staying warm. I went to the library yesterday and brought home some good books.
Found some really good books here.
I’m also crocheting a baby blanket, in the middle of a good TV series, or I could possibly get out my camera manual and continue educating me. Naw. I’ll stick to reading fun books where I can speed read. Have a good one, everyone!
