  1. Beautiful spring photos, Amy 🙂
Let’s hope for a soon coming spring.

We have had about a week with much rain, which also was needed for the soil and water reservoirs. Then the winter showed up for serious with down to freezing degrees in the nights and today it was possible to enjoy some time outdoor in the sun, as really warmed, where I had my chair without wind, really wonderful. I would also love to see the spring now.

    Much love to you ❤

    1. Lucky you to have the opportunity to sit outside in the warmth. It is still so so very cold here and just will not stop snowing! I won’t lose hope however, because I am seeing migratory birds here. Hopefully this cold will move on and spring will be here within a couple of weeks. Much Love to you this day, dear friend! 💖🌸💖

      1. When you see the birds, the spring must be very close coming, Amy. We have lots of new birds here too, so I hope so much for spring too.
Now here is cold again and we will get down to freezing in the night again. Much of Spain are covered in snow and freezing degrees. I live so close to the sea, so it is rarely to get snow right here, but behind the mountains not far away, there are snow. So I “only” get the humid from the sea and the real cold in the nights.
Short time ago, we had another sign for spring, the almond flowers are blooming now, but there will not be almonds at, if the freezing hit the flowers this year.
        Take care ❤

      1. I know, Sue. I know. Even though I really enjoyed this winter, I am more than ready for coler. Just hang in there… A few more weeks and we will be seeing color. Count your blessings your daffies are showing themselves! Lucky you!

  3. Usually we do see a little “let up” in the weather once we reach February. This year has been different though, on a number of fronts (no pun intended, you’ll see…).
I’m not sure if you’re aware of this or not, but there have been snow and cold records being broken right and left this year. The northern hemisphere seems to have been the most affected, but the cold has even reached down deep into Africa, Australia, and parts of Asia.
I think this has to do with consciousness and world splitting. The general consciousness of the northern hemisphere seems to be cold. Oh well, I hope they do get that tail somewhere near the donkey soon.

    1. Yes, I am very aware that this year cold has descended on the majority of this world in places unheard of for cold to be. I live in the Northern Hemisphere in New York State, and this year has been the coldest winter in my memory. Never before have we had ice formed on our roof, but this year we did and poor hubby had to climb on a ladder to scrape the ice off. Brutally brutally cold yet and seeing those migratory Birds I know Spring is right around the corner. Oh for the joy! And I will be running out to my Gardens getting my hands into that dirt, on my knees and just smelling the smell of Earth. A few weeks ago when the cold had lifted called the January thaw, on one of my hikes I actually smelled Earth. Oh did I inhale great huge huge breaths of air rejoicing and embracing the smell of Earth. Oh I’m getting excited. The only sadness regarding this coming spring, my mom is not here to share my joy with me. Spring was her all time favorite season. Yet I know she is with me in spirit seeing what I do and enjoying every bit of Spring like I do. I hope you are having a wonderful day this day! Much Love to you! 💕🌸💕

      1. Yesterday we got 8 or 9 inches of snow and last night was -34 Celcius or -30 F. So it is cold, but the sun is out full force today and it is gorgeous (from inside)!
If I get two more profile articles written today, the day should be completely awesome.
Thank you for your kind regards. I hope your day is equally excellent. Much love to you as well.

      2. Good luck on the writing! I’m amazed by your brain that you can actually organize the “steps” it took you to get where you are at today! My brain does not work that way. 😉 And OH MY GOSH, that is COLD! The coldest I saw it here was -11F. That was cold enough for me, thank you!! Spring is a’coming!!!! 🤗🤗🤗

    2. What came to mind when I read your words regarding what you thought about why the cold has come is this… I know from where I live we depend on the cold to kill off many insects. So in that vein of thought I will apply that truth to consciousness as in, this cold is killing off a lot of bugs. If you get my drift. All is good all is good! 👏👏👏

  4. Oh yes, bring on Spring!!! I think we both share similar weather AR, you there and I in Vermont. Cold and snowy for sure. Just got a foot two days ago and rain and ice this weekend mixed with snow. Just enough to really mess things up!!! I long for color this time of year….White is getting very drab and then March brings brown dirty snow, even worse! Come on spring. The cats have cabin fever. Lots of catnip lately! Pretty Crocus. I love purple.Happy, calm
    weekend….Much love…VK ❤

    1. VK, soon soon I say. Those migratory birds do not lie. I’d rather trust them then the those who forecast the weather. Yes this time of year white is getting “old”. It hasn’t stopped snowing here for days now. It’s not a lot of accumulation but this constant low clouds and snow …. grrrrrrr …… I thought that these flowers would bring brightness and cheer into our world. Some of us need those things more then others. Soon, VK, soon …… Spring will be here! BIG (((HUGS))) 💝💝💝

    1. Next week warmth is coming, Mark! Right now it’s still very chilly and snowing. But that’s okay. In the meantime I catch up on some of the stuff that needs to be attended to inside the house and I have gotten myself off to the gym as well. Oh for joy! Yes I feel Spring is right around the corner and you are so right in that, my soul is yearning for that connection again. Hope you are having a wonderful day! Much Love to you! 💕🌸💕

  5. Aren’t we all longing so much for spring to come? I saw the first crocuses reach the surface two weeks ago. It was very mild at that time… it is still the beginning of February and winter is still in control.

    1. Lucky you seeing your first crocuses, Erika! Oh yes, winter still has its icy grips. Unlike the past couple of years, it is very cold and snowy still. *sigh* Soon, soon, dear friend, flowers will abound! 💞🌸💞

    1. Those are from last year, Dan. Not this one. We are cold with snow here. Hubby made the comment today …. it looks like Syberia outside. I have to agree with him. Spring birds have begun to return so the warmth will be here soon!!! YES!! 🤗🤗🤗

  6. Hi Amy 🙂 Very pretty flower photos!! ❤ I sighed when I looked at them. 🙂 It looks rather far from spring here as well right now, but I know in about a month thing should start easing up. We just have to keep the Faith! 🙂 I have been leaving bird seed for the birds in the park next door this week. It makes me smile to watch them scurrying about plucking the seeds from the snow and chirping all the while. 🙂 I hope you are staying well. Love and blessings for you. ❤ ❤ ❤

    1. Sarah, the snow has not quit for days here and now I see how pretty it is outside, all white. Deciding today whether to go out and get some pics or are most done with white? Hopefully this is the last of it because I hear next week the temps will rise. Today as of this morn, the temps have warmed so …. Here’s to Spring!!! (((HUGS))) and Much Love!!! 💞

  7. Lovely photo Amy!! Love the colors and love the spring! Here in England we have snow drops and I have seen a few crocuses blooming! We don’t get a lot of snow. Growing up in Rhode Island, we would usually get crocuses blooming by Easter, though at times it would snow even then. Haven’t heard if the groundhog saw its shadow?? Love to you! Donna

    1. Now that you mention it, I haven’t heard about the groundhog this year. Huh. Strange. I have no idea if he saw his shadow or not. Either way, Spring will be here when She gets here. Winter still rules at least for a while. I heard next week the temps are going to rise a bit. YES!! Much Love to you!!! 💝
