Passage (12 IMAGES)

  1. These are all beautiful Amy….but the lovely white flower with the words ‘always, always light does come’ underneath really took my heart away. That is a magical shot (they all are), but this one decided to speak to me. It is touching something within that I ‘know’ from spirit. Thank you for sharing a ‘moment’ across your garden 😀 ❤

    1. That flower is one of my Peonies, Mark. Yes this image draws me as well. It is powerful! The brilliant creation that I was allowed to capture stole my breath, giving me the incentive to continue to walk out what I am. I’m so humbled that you as well felt the touch of Spirit in this post. I have been on an incredible Journey of which I know is being reflected in my photography. Have a Blessed day, dearest friend. 💕🌹💕

  2. Dearest Amy, take each day as it comes.. Life is to be lived and enjoyed.. And in today’s world there is too much added stress with the pressures we put ourselves under..
So do not ever feel guilty of only posting once a week… Your photos and and your posts are beautiful as are your thoughts when ever you share them with us..
    I come and go too..
Life especially this time of year when our allotments are in full swing, planting our bedding plants and home garden.. Plus just taking time out to relax and enjoy our retirement years..
We have both worked hard all our lives, and both of us have suffered chronic illness with pain we have both worked through with our Spiritual and Holistic approaches to Healing
    So ENJOY..

I so enjoyed each photo, and your beautiful 15 yr old Bella is beautiful.. Who could not fall in love with that face.. 🙂

Have a wonderful week.. and when the Sun comes out again after these stormy days here right now of rain and high winds.. You will find me catching rainbows on my swing.. 🙂

Love and Blessings Amy.. take care of you..

    1. Aw, thank you, Sue. Yes my Bella is an Angel and my love for her knows no limits. My gardens this year have been exceptional finding me drawn in particular to my Lilacs. I just cannot get enough of them this year and they have more flowers on them then I’ve ever seen. The smell! OH the sweetness in the air! How I wish they would last forever in flower as they are now. I imagine Heaven smelling like Lilacs.
As for busy … life is racing by! CRAZY. I have to tell myself to stop running, to slow down, and enjoy life. I actually just came back from hiking in the hills on a trail in the pouring rain. LOL I was laughing and giggling and just having so much fun not even thinking about the falling aspect. I felt like a kid all over again. I have to do these things in order to stay Balanced. Oh, Sue, I just feel so clean and dancing inside right now!! You have a great week and may we both see rainbows and lots of sunshine!!! Much Love, Amy 💞🌹💗

      1. I live with 11 cats, Geraint. Not too many people can beat that. And no, I cannot imagine my life without them even though I have a very challenging life because of them. 💗

  3. Simply amazing your macro and landscape photography. Stunning images all round and you really are doing great with photography as usual. Also good to hear that you are taking care of your family and yourself – that’s the most important. Nothing like having good health too. Remember to take it easy when you feel like you have to – we all need rest to be the best version of yourself. Take care and also, enjoy all the sunshine that comes with summer 🙂 ❤

    1. Thank YOU, Mabel!! This post was quite complex to put together yet I am glad I took the time to do so. We haven’t had too much sunshine but believe me when it does come I am outside. Today it poured down rain and in spite of the rain I went hiking on a trail and got completely soaking wet. LOL I was in mud, puddles, forged deep creeks, slipped on slippery stuff and just had a blast. OH to be a kid again!! 🤓😂💞And yes I am taking care of me and my family, something that requires about 3 people sometimes but only has me. Quite challenging to say the least. Sending Much Love to you this day!! 💖

      1. Always worth taking the time and effort to do something that means something to you. Not only do you feel joy within you, but love and the best part is, you resonate that love around to others too 🙂 Keep being that kid again and again ❤

      2. If I can I am bringing a story to Petals how I was a kid in spades. OH the JOY I felt and the freedom too! We all need to do this because as adults we tend to take life just so seriously. Much Love! 💗

  4. Beautiful photos! Gardening has given me such an appreciation for storms and rain. I’ve been sick for weeks, and I think the only reason I’ve been able to still be productive is because of the sun and plants I am enjoying outside! I hope when life is challenging and overwhelming, natural beauty can distract you and comfort you for awhile! ~Anne❤️🌻

    1. Anne, I’ve been gardening for years something I really love to do, yet hate when it is time to open up or close up. It is a LOT of work! And yes I do believe Nature heals as I’ve seen personally in my own life. I love the fresh air, I love forests and water and flowers and if I had it my way I would be outside for the better of my life. Along with my camera, I become magic and my life becomes sacred and I feel the Flow of Source. Oh yes Mother is a means to keep me sane and to keep me on the right path. Believe me. It is so sad to me that so many people have become so disconnected from Mother Nature and that is to my knowledge and experience where we gain the most healing. Much Love to you this day and thank you for commenting!! 💖🌸💞

    1. Alexander, my blog is one of the very few aspects of my life solely mine. My life is about service to others. My passion for my camera is one I wish I could just run with but this outlet here at WP satisfies that itch in many ways. Thank you for your comment about my images. I so do love what I do. 💖🌸💖

      1. I know what you mean. How many times I told to myself stop service and have my own life but it never happened. Mostly I enjoy what I do but sometime I would like to escape from all that things and stay alone.

      2. For this reason, Alexander, I treasure my hikes and walks alone in the forest and my time with my camera alone. There I can loose the weights I carry on my shoulders and just be free to be me. ☺️

    1. Thank you so much, Dan, for your lovely compliment. But of course my Bella would steal the show. She is a heart stopper, that one! There are times I find myself just staring at her drinking her in. This poor baby was so traumatized and hurt when we rescued her and to see her freely romping around and exploring moves me to tears. It has taken her since 2009 to finally feel safe enough to be freely walking about the house. Aw, life is good! 💞

    1. Hi, MM!!! SO good to hear from you! Thank you so so much for the compliments. My passion for what I do with my camera is clearly seen here and yes light just happens to be a speciality of mine. I just seem to have an “eye” for it … and yes the contrasting shadows as well. Bless you and Much Love to you! 💞🌸💞

  5. Sometimes so much is coming together. I am glad you are making the best of it and move on step by step, still smelling the flowers along the way. I can barely catch my breath at the moment either. So, let’s take each other by the hand and move on one step at a time. All will be well. Huge hugs, dear Amy!
Oh, and I love love love your photos and words!

    1. Gee, Erika, I get it I really get it! Life is speeding by like a bullet lately and I have to literally tell myself to stop running. It is as though as soon as I am finished with one thing, something else immediately comes along requiring my attention. I hit the bed at night never even feeling that pillow. I’m out! And thank YOU for your compliment on my photography. I believe my Journey is being mirrored in my art. Bless you, dear friend, and try to take it easy. Breathe. LOL Yep, breathe. 💖🌼💞

      1. You are right! That’s such an insight. Life always comes up with something new and the faster we go the sooner something new shows up. So we need to reduce our speed in order to find more peace. I never thought about it although (now thinking about it that way) I experienced it and slowed down reflexifely. Wow, that’s really awesome, Amy!! Yes, things have reached a peak. My boss is in hospital but at least I have a new co-worker who starts on Friday! That’s already such a relief!!
        Sending you loooooong hugs, Amy💖

      2. So happy to have been able to help you, Erika. I’m consistently now doing exactly what I set out to do and NOT get pulled off track to run run run in other directions. Nope. Not doing it. And so I am much more relaxed. Sending you BIG HUGS! 💝

      3. It is hard to slow down right now since it looks like life is standing behind me pushing me in high speed. But from tomorrow on relief is in sight and I will for sure take the chance as good as I can. Things are about to calm down again…. phew!!💖

  8. Great post Amy Rose…And of course your photos are always a delight! I LOVE Bella!!!! I love Bella’s spot to hang as well. She looks like she loves it too….As for your journey, I think we are all on it as well. It is most often exhausting and trying but somehow we continue to push forward in pursuit of freedom! My greatest lesson I am learning now is to accept what is. If I’m having a crappy day and sit on the couch I don’t attack myself for doing so, rather I am kind to myself, tend to myself and tell myself tomorrow is another day, it DOES NOT make me less for sitting….It is society who has hijacked my thoughts for most of my life forcing me into believing it is wrong. No! We are beautiful just the way we are….Blessings and love…VK ❤

    1. Bella normally does not openly and freely go about in this house and now I am kicking myself for not video recording what she was doing. Going out and being in Nature erases the exhaustion and brings the kid in me alive again. And yes rest is very much required in order to maintain Balance but too much of a good thing is not a good thing. I still am teaching myself it’s OK to chill, not berating myself for what I did not get done. We here in the USA are so focused on work work work that we as adults have truly forgotten how to laugh and be silly and to have fun. I refuse to allow anyone to hijack any of me. I’m just a rebel through and through. 😜💖

  9. Beautiful photos. I love what I think may be allium… I miss it. Don’t have it here in my garden yet.
Your Bella looks like my Clara, all white with the mismatched eyes. My Clara’s a lover — she knows no strangers. ❤
I'm glad you're getting out and about with some consistency. It's always a pleasure to read you! x

    1. You made me smile, Julie. My Bella has gone back to her former ways and is now in the study. I could kick myself for not video taping her when she was out and about in the house. I just thought she finally made up her mind to come out and join the rest of the family. Unfortunately I thought wrong. She is a very very special cat and I’m happy she allowed me this pose to show you! 💞
