Water (2 IMAGES)

Well, since so many of you would like to see more playing from me, I played again.  The image in this post was taken in Como Park on February 24th.  This view always catches my eye no matter the time of day I go.  I always stop to stare because there is just something that draws me each and every time.  That day was no different.

So in stepping off the path, I walked nearer to the water’s edge until the view I wanted for my image appeared.  Sigh … Staring just staring, as I felt tension leave my body and my mind, with my Soul drinking thirstily.  I did not want to disturb the moment by even getting my phone out of my pocket.  Yet I did and I framed what I saw, pushing the shutter.

These past few weeks have been extremely intense and I have been barely able to get here at WP because of that intenseness.  The good news is hubby is finally onboard and has joined me on my Quest for Health. Because he is the research genius in this house, together we managed to design a viable system so that all in this house are now able to drink clean, safe water.  We even are getting accustomed to our new gluten-free, wheat-free, corn-free, soy-free diet.  And as a result all in this house are beginning to glow with real true health.

My Inner Guidance is always correct.  Always.  This Quest I have been on for weeks has become critically important for my family and me.  Just yesterday I heard that a local middle school’s drinking water has lead in it so that the students and faculty must bring bottled water with them to drink.  And that means our water too has lead in it among other toxins and poisons.  Holy sh*t!

Last night local news stated over and over again all pipes in WNY, due to being too old, are now problematic and need to be replaced.  Hubby and I looked at each other and both said, “No way.  They are just not going to be able to replace them.  The task at hand is just too immense.”  Erie County Water Authority is in huge trouble and they know it.  I have no doubt two of my babies died directly as a result from our water.  Can you stop to even think how many people are ill today or have died because of what is in our drinking water?

It truly is ironic that this is happening because we are surrounded by some of the cleanest lake waters in the USA.  Yet due to aging pipes and out-of-date pumping stations, we now have poisoned water running from our faucets.

The time truly has come that all of us must take responsibility for our health.  I know from experience when you don’t have your health, you have nothing.  The really scary aspect of all this I have been attempting to alert my friends and neighbors and they are not believing me.  This is so far fetched that their brains, that have become so dumbed down and numbed out from both food and water, cannot conceive we have poison in our drinking water.

Water … we cannot live without it.

Below is the spell binding view I had all to myself with the company of two ducks who quietly and contentedly paddled gently on their quest for a meal.  Sigh … More tension released. If this is not Paradise I don’t know what is. Do enjoy these two images.  The first one is the original (edited) and the second one I played with.  Both to me speak volumes and both are beautiful!!  And as you allow these beautiful images to speak to you, please think upon what I just told you.  Friends, I speak Truth. This is really happening.

    1. God bless you, Susan. I have tears in my eyes. Not to be believed with something as critical as this is terrible. I’ve been stunned that friends are not believing and still drinking tap water! Bless you for the reblog!!!! 💖💖💖😙💖💖💖

      1. We have a filter. I had to push some for my other half but now he makes sure the cats and our bird. All of our animals get the best water we can give them. People wonder why our pets live so long. That is one of the main reason.

  1. The water issue is so frightening. I am glad you are taking efforts to stay safe.I am quite out of the loop on your issues, so I am just in shock. The pictures are like pure magic-I do love the original best. Oh to stand there must be enchanting moments.

    1. What is even more shocking is people are not believing there is a water crisis. I stand there in shock like you. What will it take for them to believe that our drinking waters are toxic? I lost 2 babies because of food and water and my health was going downhill. I am not about to take any more deaths or health damages and will protect MY family to the best of my ability!
As for my images! Thank you, dear friend. Both images speak differently and yes the original holds much magic. Now you understand why I stand transfixed whenever I go there. It is enchanting.
I’ll be over later to see you. Mornings I am very involved with my cat treatments. Much Love to you! ❤

  2. A gorgeous edit.

Water is sooooo important and it’s scary that it has become so contaminated. The water where I live tastes horrible, so I often have to buy bottled water instead. At least this has been filtered!

    1. Thank you, Amanda! I agree with you that it is scary regarding our water and even scarier that people won’t believe it. Our tap water tastes bad too and I refuse to touch it even with a filter! We are now drinking bottled Spring water only and the difference is from night to day. This subject makes me angry, dear friend, because I did not know how critically important it was to stop drinking our filtered tap water … and because of that and because of the food issue, I lost 2 of my babies. I don’t know if I will ever be able to get over this tragedy. I’ve got tears in my eyes as I write this. I must believe there is a Higher Reason I did not “see” before now. Now that I do “see” the rage I feel towards these companies who are allowing toxic food and water to be eaten and drunk make me want to put a fist through a wall. The tipping point is at hand and people will catch on. From there, huge change will happen. Bless you for reading this post!!! And good job drinking bottled water!! ❤

      1. I can understand why you feel so passionately about this water issue. My heart goes out to you, Amy. You’ve got me tearful now 😞 so heartbreaking.

It really is a serious issue and spreading the awareness can only be a good thing! People need to know that it is not safe to drink this… we may as well call it poison, right? Bottled water only from now onwards. I’ve been warned. Big hugs to you. ❤️

      2. God bless you, Amanda! Thank YOU so much for believing me. And do your homework on the bottled water as well because some are not so good. I sit here stunned because the epidemic of stupid I am seeing in people in my life have me truly not believing what I am seeing and hearing. I was told yesterday by a mother, a woman I know, that her son came home with a note saying the water at his school has lead in it and that from now on he needs to bring bottled water to school. As she is saying this to me, she is pouring TAP WATER into a glass and she DRINKS IT. I stand there stunned. She rationalizes by saying … oh that’s the school. We are residential… The pipes are all connected! This is the same geographical area. OMG! I’m tearing my hair out over this. Honest! My neighbors don’t believe me either. It’s all over the news. And they still think it’s OK to drink tap water? Two of my cats are now dead because of this. And still even though these people know this they drink tap water. How stupid is stupid? You don’t know how relieved I am that you are doing a very very very smart thing right now. You may be saving your life and your family’s life. This is no joking matter. Thank you from the bottom of my Heart. I have tears, huge ones, in my eyes. (((HUGS))) ❤ ❤ ❤

      3. We can only do so much. To be honest, I was naive to the fact until not so long ago. It wasn’t until I started to do a little research that I became shocked by what I found. Then I took to Amazon to look for filters…. but, still, was even more shocked when I had found that this would be a waste of time. Why there aren’t more warnings, I do not know. It’s like these big companies are trying to slowly poison us! It gives me shivers just thinking about it. At least we are more aware now and can make changes that will save our health. Thank you for writing this post, Amy. It’s definitely an eye-opener. It really isn’t a joking matter 😦 *HUGS*

      4. I know the shock, Amanda. The tons of information we went through and to know the info was lie after lie, and then trying to figure out what is what! There are no warnings and that is what scares me the most. Big companies, doctors, hospitals, big pharma, all benefit from us being sick. It is SICK. I’ve been so angry over this. I can only be responsible for my family and IF others listen then please do! You are so welcome about me writing this post. Most people don’t want to know but rather keep their heads in the sand. I know when I found out how shaken I was. I still am. You do your best … I know you will. 🙂 ❤

  3. Because we put in hours of research which concluded Poland Springs is the purest. At least it is now. I also am seeing miracles with myself and my cats all who have been drinking this water and nothing else for the past 2 weeks. There is a water crisis happening right now and I’m not willing to loose any more of my babies or compromise my health any longer. That’s why. 💖

  4. That truly is strange because when we lived there we were told that the Erie county has one of the best water qualities in the States. We asked because of the high chlorine content we smelled. We basically did not drink it just so because of that taste. But used it for cooking, tea, and coffee! It is sad to hear what you write here, Amy!

    1. It scares me, Erika. We now know there is lead in our water and God knows what else. Since you lived here, lead was found in Orchard Park middle school water. If it’s there, it’s in ours. Two days ago ECWA was at a fire hydrant 2 houses down from us because the hydrant had NO water coming out of it. Hubby when investigating was told it was frozen. No. Not true. It hasn’t been cold enough for it to be frozen. Something was IN the pipe blocking the water from getting through. That is when hubby finally awoke from the dream and realized hey, Amy has been saying the Truth about our water. Then on the news last night report after report saying the pipes are too old and need replacing (they are leaking, leaching) and the water plants are too old as well. We are in BIG trouble here. And people are NOT believing it. It’s going to take a huge tragedy unfortunately for people to WAKE UP. This is a nightmare that I am living!

      1. It is absolutely scary!!! And I am so very sorry about it! But I am glad you are cautious. Even more I treasure the water we have here. It is a catastrophe how water – the essence of life – is treated!

      2. I’m not 100% sure that stat is true. There is a lot on the internet that is false and contradictory. The research we have done is unbelievable attempting to wade through everything and determining what is true and what is false. No easy task these days!

      1. I just said the same thing … how much I enjoyed talking to you. Thank YOU, Erika. My mornings are always challenging and by the time I’m done I’m ready for a nap. This has been so nice talking in between the caring of my cats. 🙂

    1. It won’t be able to be done, John. The expense and the geographical area that Erie County comprises there is no way it will happen. People have to take it upon themselves to do something like we are. 🙂 ❤

      1. I know… the water pipes are getting so old and there is no plan for replacement. I took a tour to France in 2000, they were replacing the water pipes city to city and town to town.

      2. Very expensive to do and I truly doubt there will be enough money to replace those pipes here. Thank God we finally put together a system that we know is safe for us in this house.

  5. Beautiful photo and a nice treatment for it. The aging water systems are scary. Those are the kind of infrastructure projects that aren’t likely to rise to the top of the list unless a lot of public pressure is brought to bear.

    1. This has been all over our local news lately, Dan. Now we have lead in our water. Pipes are clogging up and some have burst. Oh yeah we are in big trouble here. I’m just thankful we are doing what is right in this house. It took me a long time to put the pieces of the puzzle together. It’s amazing to me once I got the AHA moment everywhere I now turn I am hearing about the severity of the problem. It is extensive!

  6. Stunning photo and playing art, dear Amy 🙂
I’m happy, that you found out, what was wrong with your water. It is terrible, when the pipes become so old and need replacements. Old iron pipes contain much, also to the water. This was not known back then, when they were build.
When I told you, that I take care here too, it was by other reasons too. Years ago, I’m not sure how many, many people in Spain died, because someone did poison the water several places. This is why, people here now go more crazy with the chlorine in everything. I know people, who use few drops for everything, they are doing, whatever it is for washing the dish or washing the salad…..
I use bottled water and this function very good both for the animals and for myself.
    Take good care of yourself.
    Love ❤

    1. Oh, Irene, that is awful what you told me! Chlorine is not meant to be drunk. Our tap water is full of it. As I keep saying, each of us must take responsibility for our families. The system hubby and I developed is working like a dream. Now we need to keep an eye on the company we are getting our spring water from to make sure all stays the same. These days you never know. Much Love to you, dear friend! ❤

      1. I know, it is awful Amy, but true. Chlorine is used for killing bacteria, also in our water all over our world. But when you need to use it to secure no poisoning, it is very bad.
As you say, we need to stay awake all the time. Much love for you too, dear Amy ❤

  7. Beautiful and serene photo. Nature renews us!
When we lived in the city 30 years ago, we had 5-gallon, reusable bottles delivered because the water was not to be trusted (it might have been Poland Springs, can’t remember). Luckily, we have good well water in the country now. 🙂

  8. It’s that jut in the curve of the land and water that sets my eyes easy. It’s a lovely place to stop and stare, I’m sure.

So sorry to read that your water is poisoned. Isn’t that tragic? Our water here isn’t bad, but we do use filters. When we lived elsewhere, I hated the taste of the water, so for me, it’s another reason I’m happy we’re home.
I very much enjoy getting spring water, which we do quite a bit in the summer. There’s a spring about 30 minutes, and if you take your own containers it’s free. I often wonder for how much longer… given the stunning decline of drinkable water. It’s absurd that we should have that issue here, with our modern lives and technology. I’m glad you’re bringing in clean water.

    1. Thank you, Joey, for taking the time to read my post. I’ve been through so many emotions throughout the past few weeks. It haunts me that our water systems are as bad as they are and here we live in the US. We are drinking Spring water now and only Spring water and I pray the source does not get contaminated! In our research I came across a stat that stated only 1% of the water on earth is actually drinkable now. How true that is I am not sure because we came across so much BS while researching it would make your head spin. Every where I look today I see corruption and lies and it just scares me to no end. I’m so relieved to know my family is drinking safe and clean water now. And to see my cats gain their heath back puts a song in my Heart. I have hoards of auto immune issues myself and since going on the gluten free diet and now this water, my general inflammation is about 50% decreased. I want to see what else happens. I’ve been so busy I don’t think I have any before and after pictures for the skeptics out there who don’t believe me. That’s the biggest trouble in today’s world among others … there are so many untruths that it makes one not know when truth is being told. Anyways … Bless you for commenting!! It meant a lot to me. I’ll be over to see you tomorrow. I’m really beat! ❤

      1. I am a sensitive person, bodily, I mean, and I too have immune issues. I find that a lot of things that work for me, or I can’t tolerate, are not the same for others. I can tell by their responses that they think me mad, but what’s true for a person is true. There’s no use trying to convince others, although, I appreciate your concern for others. We have to do our best to care for ourselves and those we love.
I’m beat too. Big sun and wind for me today. I’ll sleep well, and I hope you do the same.

      2. I did sleep well, Joey. I hope you did too! I’m done trying to convince others about our food and water situation. They have to figure out for themselves. Yet when it does concern those in my “family” I will stand up and say something. I define family as my husband, cats and the animals I help out with in the barn next door. That’s it. FYI … I’m to the point I don’t care what others think of me. I’ve earned that much! 😉 And what you said about each body being different … true. This is what medicine needs to learn. Just sayin’ …. Free thinker here aka me. (smile) Have a really good day! I’ll be over later. Now I dive into my morning cat routine. ❤

    1. I’m just about done telling others what is happening, Alok. For the most part, people did not either hear me or believe me. When their health becomes compromised or the health of their family, maybe then they will believe there are toxins in our waters. Just totally so far from the norm it really IS hard to believe. My Mother liked the first one too so you are in good company! 🙂 ❤

  9. Stunning pictures as usual! The second one looks like the magical alternate reality of the first. I would go either place! 🙂 I am aghast at the water situation in this country. In the city I live in…currently…almost every nook and cranny is being torn up to replace pipes. It is difficult to navigate the roads because so many are torn up, detoured, or closed. They are trying to do it all at once, which is silly…but at least they are making an effort. I still won’t, and haven’t for years, drink or use tap water. Good luck…and good for you for finding a system that works and brings health to you and your pets.

  10. *gasp* I cannot even begin to imagine the mess all that tearing up is creating, Mar. Who is the brainstorm behind coming up with the idea of doing all the pipes at once, I wonder? I really don’t see that happening here because work crews are known to “dog” the job, in other words drag it out for as long as they can. Water pipes were put in not far from here, a mere corner, and it took ALL summer last year to do the job. Unless we get private donations, I don’t know where the monies will come from to replace all the pipes, and unless more responsible people are hired for this job, this will take them forever to do.
And thank you about one of my favorite places to go. It really is magical!!! Bless you, dear friend! ❤

      1. Thanks Amy. That is what I have tried too. I make flour from oatmeal because my local store doesn’t carry oat flour and I end up mixing oat and wheat for now. Normally being vegetarian, sometimes it’s hard to have variety, again because my local store doesn’t carry vegetarian foods. But at 67 I feel better than I did before I started at 64.

    1. Tiny, I haven’t been here much. Too much had been happening in life. But to answer your question for now we are drinking what we consider safe bottled water and using a filter to remove lead and fluoride from our tap water for our cooking needs. Hubby is deciding which water conditioner to install to decrease our very hard water which is hazardous to our health and water pipes. We’ve put in hundreds of research hours and bottom line there is no perfect system to get perfect drinking water. We have to do only our best. And that is what we are doing. Scary is right! 💖
