Did I have fun with this! I started out with my phone photography apps but it’s been so long since I played with them I forgot what to do.  Argh!  So I used Photoshop instead and played.  Yes this is an actual photograph I took a few days back with my Samsung Phone completely blind as I did so.  I have transition glasses which turn dark in sunshine which at the time were on my face.  Throw in there aiming my camera up towards the sun (a no-no!) I couldn’t see a darn thing on my phone.

I just had a “feeling” inside I was going to capture something.  Carefully I went by “feel” how to frame this image and from what angle to shoot.  No idea what it was I capturing I hit the shutter.

And boy did I ever get something!  Now that blue disk thingie with a light inside of it I have NO clue what it is.  My most intelligent guess is that it is a reflection between my phone camera’s lens and the sun.  Now the kid in me however, would like to say oh wow I photographed a UFO!  Either way it is a pretty spectacular picture, one that I really wanted to play with.  And so I did.  LOL

FYI … those colors in the clouds I did not add.  They are the very reason I attempted to shoot this image.  I actually saw colors in the clouds with my darkened glasses and was curious if those colors would actually be seen on a photograph.  Well I’ll be!!  They are seen!  Now we are seeing Rainbow Clouds!  Amazing!!

      2. Ahhhhhhhhhhh… Van Gogh. This is nit the first time dimes I me has referred to him with my art. Of course I did it digitally and there is no way I could actually paint this. Nah no one will hurt me. 😎

    1. LOL Good to know your KID is alive and well, Dan! We adults tend to get SO serious and forget how to laugh and have fun. Thank goodness for pets for one, who remind us daily how to have fun. Someone on my FB page sent me a link how to operate the oil painting function on PS and as I listened my eyes crossed and my brain cramped. I think I will stick to playing instead of getting serious (again). Hahahahaha ❤

      2. Me too. I just spent the last 2 hours trying to do the oil painting according to the link that was sent me and I still did not get it right. Seriously? Ask me how much FUN I had during those 2 hours. Grrrrr …. I did learn a thing or two though, I must admit. LOL

  19. Love it, Amy. I’m wondering if we saw the same cloud the other day. 😉 I happened to look up and saw an almost identical scene. I stopped and just enjoyed it until it passed. 🙂 Yes, definitely a UFO!

    1. Were not those colors awesome? Later that night I stared up at the moon and saw colors again in the clouds. Wow! You are absolutely right about the Rainbow and I’ll take that as God’s Sign to me that ALL is well. Mark, your words brought to me a huge uplifting. Thank you. (((HUGS))) ❤

      3. I ‘think’, and don’t hold me to this, but I think it is the reflection of light from moisture in the atmosphere. Like the rainbows you get from water being sprayed around, it gives off those colors depending on where your standing. It can give halo’s and a variety of corona’s around the sun depending on how much moisture is in the atmosphere. And I don’t think clouds even have to be present, they are just what we see when there is lots of moisture. Even the moon gets a range of corona’s around it at night 😀

      10. Mother makes up for the lack of humans in my Life, dear friend. The Path I tread I honestly don’t understand at times, yet I know this is what I am to do with my Life. The way Mother befriends me, Loves me, Comforts me, Encourages me, Talks to me, amazes me and at the same time humbles me. And I am no more special then you are. Truly. We reflect one another. 🙂
