Now that the Holidays are behind us
some of us may feel achingly drained
and a little blue
yet if perspective is changed
to view the whole picture
the overall Life Frame
will show the Truth
that what was created
from the Love of the Holidays
remains with us
and all our Loved Ones
the whole year through

I had to just stop and stare when I saw this scene. Hauntingly achingly beautiful. This is a very bleak and barren season when we do not have magical snow, so to find Beauty is VERY challenging. This is when the truly Gifted step up to the challenge and really get creative. As I jokingly said to another fellow woman photographer I spoke to the day this image was shot, this is when the “girls” are separated from the “women”. Everything a photographer has and more is pulled out in order to find and to create Beauty.
And Beauty is what I captured. I was stunned by the Magic the Light and shadow made, especially on the ice. I will be showing more of what I captured this week. As you view the overall image, apply it to your Life and know even if you are feeling blue, when you realize the Joy and Love associated with the Holidays is still ever present, your blues will go bye-bye. Please do enjoy!

It really is quite beautiful, Amy. To think, just a little bit off of the beaten path exists such a place. I hope that you had a wonder New Years celebration. ❤

I so agree with you, Rob. This view is not too far from our home and to have this Beauty almost in my backyard is precious. Yes I had a quiet and good New Year, thank you! I hope yours was a good one too!! ❤

An amazing shot. Like you, I find beauty in the barren landscapes of winter, with or without snow. It is a time of change, renewal, leading up to new growth in the Spring. It is necessary. ❤️ 💛 💚 💙 💜

So true, Van. All things work together for the cycles of Life. Without one phase the next would not be complete. Thank you for the compliment on this image. I stood there for a long time just soaking the “emotion” of this scene into my Being. I hope to show more of my captures from this day this week, each just as amazing as the other. Much Love to you today! ❤

Gorgeous! It looks like the water is actually moving. Did you do something to create that effect? Those that are feeling blue after the holidays need not worry. It will start up again just after Halloween like it always does!

No, Marissa, no tricks with this. I actually saw what you viewed. The striping effect on the ice that day was spectacular. This “quiet” after the Holidays is good. Much Love to you today!! ❤

Must have been in the shower when you called…..and then the men came to repair our garage door. The spring had broken and the other one was worn so they replaced both of them….should be good as new!

Oh, Kathy, that day was MAGICAL all the way around except for the fact I did not dress warm enough. I was SO excited to get there (It’s sunny OH it’s sunny!!!) I really paid not enough attention to me. I chose to be chilly and keep going instead of missing out on that Light. It was spectacular. Oh I cannot wait for you to see what else I’ve got coming. LOL Love you! ❤

I am so very happy that you found magic my friend. I can see how easy it would be to immerse yourself and get chilly. Do take care of yourself, though. Will so look forward to see what is coming!!!! Love you too ❤

Well, I awoke “expecting” lots of snow. These weather forecasters ….. *sigh* …. a dusting instead of the “foot” we were supposed to get. Unreal!

Well glad that you didn’t get a ton of snow. They seem to be wrong so often and they still keep their jobs. Unreal. Must be nice ❤

The colors are stunning, Amy! Is it only – as you said – the game of shadow and light or did you tune it a bit?
LikeLiked by 1 person
Thank you, Erika! No, I did not tune this. Because of the deeply blue sky in combination of how the low horizon sun was shining, the ice/snow picked up the blue of the sky. It was incredible to see!! I have more coming!! 🙂 ❤

That is an amazing shot Amy, the energy from it is quite incredible. You WERE being shown something, something very personal within it. Even though it may be bleak to the naked eye, it has been built from an incredible cycle of growth, getting ready for its rebirth, but in its dormancy, it is still amazing because of what it truly is within. That is still not really touching what I felt, but you have been shown something very strong. And its main energy is within the water. What is that place?
Very powerful Amy, you were blessed with a contact like nothing else. I’m expecting a hand to come up out of the water with a sword in it 😀

Wow!! Your excitement, Mark, caught me and now I’m just sooooooooo elated you felt what I did!!! I was sooooooooo excited to get over to this park that day I did not pay close enough attention to the fact I was not dressed warm enough. I flew over there just knowing the Light would show me Magic!! And oh my gosh it did! This is a park I regularly walk in yet that day the intense blue of the sky coupled with the low horizon Sun turned all around me into Magic! Yes yes yes!!! You felt the POWER that swept me away. Oh I am sooooooooo elated !!! I have more coming so put your seat belt on. Now, dear friend, you are truly seeing how Mother allows me to see so deeply. Wow!! I am covered in goosebumps!! Bug Lump in my throat as well!! So much Love to you this day! The Sword of Truth has Knighted you! ❤

And now for the Truth how this image was captured. Are you ready? My entire focus was on the branch in the foreground while I “sensed” with my soft vision the angles, colors, and how to frame what I was focused on … the branch with the background. When I actually saw what was captured I was stunned. This is what Mother does all the time. She is the Artist who guides me and many times I am left standing stunned knowing I did not create what I am seeing because my focus was NOT on the whole frame. This does not happen all the time but many times it does.

lol…now I understand…I was picking up your energy Amy…and as you say…WOW!…If that is what ‘happens’ at times, I understand your excitement 😀
It was YOU holding a camera aloft, not a sword 😀
Great energy…what a gift 😀 ❤
