Since I tantalized you two posts ago with my question, “Do you see the two birds?” referring to two tiny dots in the sky, I just happened to be in the right place at the right time to capture this gorgeous hawk when I went for a walk last Saturday at Reinstein Woods Park. Now do you see the bird? LOL Hard to miss this one!!! I stood there and just watched this bird swoop so gracefully and glide effortlessly with the winds. What a feeling! Oh if only to be able to fly like that!
As for the second image those are leaves flying in the wind you see across the picture. It was so cool walking as yellow and orange leaves rained down upon me. What a lovely lovely feeling!! Just magical!
❤ ❤ ❤
Wow, my favorite pictures so far. What an ocean of fiery colors and the bird is awesome!

Just so beautiful, Peaceful and Powerful! The Hawk reminds me of the power in John Denver’s music, and how much I miss him. We have Hawk’s here also, but not as many as you probably have. We have also had Eagle’s along the Ohio River banks. A few years ago there was a nest with some hatchlings in it, but they disappeared while still young, probably to a hawk or an owl. Maybe a fox or coyote. The way of the Wild in this world of ours.
I feel as if I were accompanying you on your walk, and the freedom it gives me is fantastic. Thank you Sweet AmyRose. It is a wonderful feeling of sweet release to see your world thru your eyes and your camera lens. Much love. Angie ❤ ❤ ❤

So sorry, Dr. Hb. I guess I lucked out on the place I was born. Now you can laugh at me when I am crying in my soup when we have snow drifts up to my waist. So all in all, it all evens out somehow!!! 🙂 ❤

Snow…..you’re teasing me now! 😀
But it’s ok, I can see the mountains from my window and the koel coos from the park nearby, so it’s not all bad. 🙂

Wow, the leaves really got me. I had to wipe my computer screen because I wasn’t sure if they were actually in the picture. They look like glitter!

These are beautiful photos, Amy. I love how you captured the hawk. I tried capturing some blowing leaves, but I swear, as soon as I had the idea, the wind died. It’s such a fantastic feeling to see and feel and HEAR the leaves blowing all around you as you walk, Great job. Great patience.

Gee, you are giving me far too much credit, Dan. Honest. The hawk just happened to be flying right at the moment I stood ready to take this picture so this hawk was a bonus. I feel bad wishing I could take the credit of waiting patiently for this hawk. Nope, sorry didn’t happen that way. And I had to laugh at the picture of you trying to photograph leaves but failing. Oops. Laughing still …. oh my. Don’t mean to be rude here. I do agree this Fall has been fantastic and the smells and sights and the crunch of the leaves as I walk I want to stay forever. I LOVE the smell of Fall ….. earth! Mmmmmm ….. Cannot get enough this year! So happy you are out and about enjoying this weather. We both know what comes next. Gulp. ❤

Is that a bird? lol 😀 I thought it was just a big moth 😀
The tree in the center must be called a flame tree, I’ve never seen such an intense color. Very beautiful Amy, pity about the moth getting in the way though 😀
But as usual kind lady, very beautiful shots. Thank you for sharing your gifts 🙂
