I understand. My nemesis since childhood, but it has gotten better over the years. And now, we have air conditioning. ☺ I always welcome that relief of the first frost. 💘

My allergies have improved over the years, Van, but I still find myself occasionally reaching for the allergy medicine that helps me breathe. As a kid my allergies were terrible. I think being out in Nature as much as I am has helped build my immune system to tolerate all things in Nature. Could be. 🙂 ❤

Bless you! Sorry about your itchy nose, Amy. 🙂 But don’t blame the goldenrod, its pollen doesn’t fly. It is ragweed that is most likely the culprit. Weed it out where you find it around your home. OH my goodness this isn’t ragweed? LOL Well the joke is on me!! Goldenrod, now doesn’t that beat all. Shows you just how much I know about weeds. Tee hee ….. 🙂 ❤

It is possible to get over allergies. Our bodies are amazing if we give them the chance to be so. Hope you are having a great day!!! I’m going for a hike today. YAY!!! 🙂 ❤

I was just told by someone who knows her flowers and weeds, this is goldenrod and not prone to Allergies. Good thing I said ragweed because goldenrod does not rhyme with wheeze and sneeze! LOL ❤

I have a prescription pill that starts with a Z that has such a long name no one can pronounce it, but it works. LOL I also use an asthma inhaler as my asthma that usually doesn’t bother me begins to show up. Ahhhhh ….. for Autumn, right? 🙂 ❤

What a beautiful photo. I like the poem too. My allergies are awful, and it gets amplified if Im not living near water. People probably read this poem, and think of their allergies. What if the poem was nature being allergic to humans? Think of all the poisons we dump on this earth.
Good stuff.

Wow, I never thought of things in this perspective before. Nice!! I really like how you interpreted why people are allergic to Nature. This could very well be true!! Awesome comment! Thank you, Vinny! ❤

Thank you. I tend to question everything, and I like to “figure” things out so to speak. Plus, I was doing my yoga when I read your poem. It heightened my introspection. lol
It also helps that I spent a few years living by the bay, after spending most of my years living in valleys. It made a world of difference for my allergies.

I question everything too, Vinny, which IMO is a good thing. I also do Yoga so I understand fully what you meant about heightened introspection. Your comment in fact, reminded me I must return to my class which I haven’t gone to for over 2 weeks and my body is feeling it. I need that Yoga for flexibility and strength and good heavens the good stuff it does for my mind. 🙂 I also have lived in several different areas in my lifetime and yes I have seen a difference in my allergies. Hope you are having a great day!! 🙂 ❤
