    1. Awwwwwwww thanks, CM. I was just thinking perhaps my photography was getting boring posting so many flowers. Your comment made my day. I was amazed by what a little Rebel could do with my macro lens. Now I can really see how my camera I have been using has really been fading. I thank you!!! Tears are again hitting me right now. (((HUGS))) ❤

      1. I hear you. It ‘s getting harder and harder to work with my silly little all-in-one camera – or maybe I’m just getting fussier. I never get the exact photo I want, no matter how hard I try or how much I play with the software.

      2. I’m getting frustrated as well, CM. That is why I am branching out with landscape photography but lately I cannot even go out and hike being it so hot. I just feel like I’m in a dry spot. I thought your post on the Buffalo History Museum was excellent! Maybe this heat is just getting to us both. I’m about ready to scream with it. At least in winter you can put clothes on to keep warm. What do you do in heat like this? Stay indoors and climb the walls!!! Grrrrrrr ……. I NEVER thought I would be complaining about summer.

    1. Mark, you and I both!!! This scorching heat has to break so that I can get outside. I have had some Windows here and there to get out there but not much. Crossing fingers when I get my camera, the temps will have gone down. 🙂 ❤

  1. Oh how beautiful, Amy. So happy for you and can’t wait to see what you capture with your new camera. It will be so wonderful!! Hoping you get cooler temps soon, also. Last few day we have been hot and humid, also. Hugs ❤

    1. I hope we get cooler temps as well. Just so brutally hot here. I’ve got “time” for in waiting for hubby to put my order in for new camera today, I missed the deadline for Canon to ship it out so it won’t happen until Monday. Grrrrr …. In the meantime I am downloading the manual and beginning to read it. Hopefully by the time I do have my camera I’ll know what to do. LOL ❤

      2. Thanks, Kathy!! I could have used that camera today as I hiked about 10 miles. The cloud cover was perfect as was the lighting. *sigh* Faith says there will be another day!! I don’t know if you saw my last post but I am (again) coming back to equilibrium. This situation I spoke of is why I prefer animals to people much of the time. Love you! ❤

      3. Wow, 10 miles is a lot of walking.I can understand why you are anxious for the new camera. Are you getting it today? Yes, read the last post and was worried. I often prefer animals to people much of the time. Love you too my dear friend ❤ Hugs ❤

      4. No worries, dear friend. I am finally winding down. My “nerves” are still around but not as bad. And no I am not getting my camera today. LONG story on that one. I’ll be getting it between Weds.and Friday. *sighs* Practice patience time and in the meanwhile, I study the manual.
The setback I mentioned came from a source that I least expected something like this to happen. Due to that hike yesterday, I am once again Centered. Mother really does heal me, Kathy. You should see the pics I took with my cell phone yesterday. I was in Heaven!!!! 🙂 ❤

      5. Glad to hear that you are winding down. I am the same way when I order something. I want it yesterday, LOL. That’s really rough when you trust someone and they hurt you. Glad you got some great pics with the cell. Hugs < 🙂

    1. NO worries, dear friend, I’ll have my own soon enough. I’m trying to read the manual now so I know what I am doing when I get it. I can only go so far without getting overwhelmed. I bet you love your 6D, David!! I’m itching to have mine in my own two hands. I’ve waited years for this dream to come true! 🙂 ❤
