Sassy

  1. She is a sassy one, isn’t she. Now, I used to work with flowers, you know. Don’t laugh! If I’m correct that’s a lily and some like to pull out those stems from inside the flower while others like to leave them be. What’s your take on it? Thanks for brightening my day with this one Amy!

    1. Sorry, Marissa, but this is a TULIP. Our lilies are not flowering yet. LOL I have yet faith in you that you will know one flower from the next. And me pulling out stamen? No. I leave the flower as is, always. Have a great weekend! ❤

  2. I feel like I could just number these and say “Amy, comment #4 from Dan” – I love the way you capture the light that really shouldn’t be there. Beautiful photo and lovely words.

    1. Hi, Dan. I’ve been out in my gardens, slowly getting done. Your comment though I HAD to respond to now. There is Light …. How else could I be capturing it? I don’t know how I do it, and I don’t know why I have gotten “permission” from Mother, but it really is there. I could go on and on about the difference in the Light I have been seeing of late, but I think you are seeing it in the flowers here. Thank YOU for your wonderful words. You helped spur me on in that last part of the garden marathon. FYI ….. Did you get my comment on your post about what you and Faith did for your wife?
Back outside I go. Finishing up on garden number 18 and on to 19 and 20 … Another day. I miscounted. Total count is 20. 🙂 ❤

      1. I’ve been running like crazy this week, Amy. If I didn’t reply to your comment, I will soon. Your photos are often amazing. I know it’s there but I don’t know how you capture it.

      2. I’ve been running crazy again too, Dan. I just thought maybe I ended up in spam which I occasionally do. And about my photos, I don’t know how what happens happens. My mouth drops when I see in my editor what I shot. Take your time …. And try to get some rest. 🙂

      1. My gardens truly are massive. I’m getting close to going to the nursery to buy annuals. I tell myself every year I am not doing this, but the allure of the beauty pulls me. Annuals need constant watering especially is hot dry weather. And I must admit it would be nice NOT to have to do it. But I do! Have a great weekend, dear friend ! ❤

  3. I enjoyed this beautiful and very bright orange tulip. I believe my friend, Marissa may have guessed a lily but this has the velvety texture and the stamen which look like a tulip.
I am being “sassy” by correcting one of our special friends, Amy!
I enjoy your flowers one at a time, I tend to do this on my own posts. Allows savoring and really treasuring the images, don’t you think? 🙂 love you, rest a little bit extra, Amy! ❤

    1. Yes, Robin, She is a Tulip. *smiles* Marissa, poor thing, has so much trouble identifying flowers. I’m trying to educate her. I’m not having too much luck so far. LOL I already wrote to her telling her nope, not a lily!! 😉 I’m planning on resting some over the weekend, dear friend. I’ve gotten 18 gardens done thus far, and must make a decision along with my husband regarding one of our cats who is just not doing well. That is called the Mercy Walk. I’m praying right now for a sign from God about this. Have a Blessed weekend!!! ❤

      1. We can smile and certainly absolutely love that rocking Marissa!!
Prinny has an angelic ❤ message on another comment I left.
I hope you and hubby will bond and lean even closer. I am very, extremely sorry the decision had to be made. 😦 *tears*
